I was born and raised in Canada and last august I left to move to the Czech Republic. If you’ve ever been there you’ll know it’s not the cheapest country and I live in the most expensive city. I still am able to afford to live off my not so high salary of an English teacher. I wouldn’t be able to afford living away from my parents in Canada, I’m not saying it’s been easy or cheap, I have 6 roommates and my rent is over 50% of my monthly salary. I had to take out a loan from my parents to afford all the visa fees and hidden costs of moving to another country. However if I had stayed in Canada I would have been earning less because I couldn’t find a job in my field. I am filled with rage about the governments decisions to mess up the country like they have. And yes we have an immigration problem but they are not the problem, it’s the government. My mother was an immigrant to Canada, and yes she’s doing okay right now but things have changed a lot since she immigrated and how Canada is now.

Even with the guns like. We have guns here. We just don’t think it’s better to have barely any regulation control or laws about attaining them owning them and what is appropriate use of them versus not. To watch Americans defend their right to bear arms as a reason to entirely ignore the amount of gun violence , combined with insane laws that literally enable or encourage said violence , from people who are not in anyway necessarily trained to asses or handle as safely as possible , urgent situations. To have any children or schools shot up not immediately cause a national need to solve the problem but jsut have it ongoing and not much change to address the issues of innexsssary gun violence to not just Canadians but a lot of the world , looks entirely insane and white honestly idiotic lol I’m just being real. \n\nTo spend the amount yall do on military to feel safe , but have such unsafe conditions in the general public is crazy to a lot of us. I’m an American citizen who was born in the United States (Hawaii). Everyone has the right to support or not support President Trump’s plans for mass deportation. The interviewer asked this Mexican American woman her opinion and she’s entitled to her opinion. There are a lot of Hispanic people who agree with Trump. I don’t think she’s turning her back on her family by saying “it’s okay” if they get deported. I think she’s respecting and supporting the rules of Immigration laws to have legal documentation to live in the United States. Rather than disrespecting and ignoring Immigration laws the way her family did. I think in a way she’s saying “it’s okay” her family gets deported because they deserve to be penalized for breaking Immigration laws for entering and staying in America for 20 or 30 years illegally which is valid and understandable. It comes down to the phrase “You commit the crime you do the time” whether it’s family or not. I believe she has a leg to stand on because she followed Immigration laws, received her Green Card and is living in the United States legally. If a family member of mine committed a crime and were put in jail or deported back to their country I would say “it’s okay” too. You reap what you sow.

Imagine all the nurses and workers at hospitals that are from other countries. I watched them arresting nurses. Arresting tab drivers Uber drivers. I watched them raid schools and arrest children. I watched them put these poor people in jails with real criminals. All the immigrants loved me. I was actually in a federal and ICE facility. So I literally saw all of the immigrants. I protected them from the racist white people. I'm from Tampa Florida, so I'm used to the jails and prisons being majority, black guys. But in Colorado, it's white supremace, gangs and Mexican gangs. What's even more sickening? Is people from Washington would come in and take some of the Indians out. And when they came back, I would ask them questions and they said that the government people would get information on their family back in India and see if they could pay 50k to stay in America. It was sickening. I found out that what they were doing was deporting. Poor people and the people that have money back in their country. They have their families send money and let them stay. I saw it with my own eyes.

As an indian living in Dubai. If I feel a place was overcrowded- I would leave, but for some indians its not the same and its quite sad some politicians thinking a densely populated city full of jobless people is okay. Its kind of the opposite reason why indians move to canada(because most of us dont like overecrowded cities-which tends to happen in india). The amoumt of jobs need to increase. The infrastructure needs to increase. Colleges and schools where people actually pay for all of it is necessary. And homelessness needs to be replace by education and housing policies for older canadians especially. Preserving the respect for the elderly. The list goes on- and yes it will increase the amount of jobs, if they build and educate. Also increase the incentive to be educated.

im lucky even tho im broke, im doing okay compared to most Canadians... I ive in Burnaby a city next to Vancouver. I pay 2050 for a 2 bedroom & 2 bathroom condo, I split the cost with a longtime friend I only make 19hr but I can afford the $1050 rent and my car insurance is only $95. If I were to look for a rental today I probably wouldnt be able to... have to maybe live in my car or move out of this city. All I know is Vancouver so that would be really tough for me.... it sucks what Canada is like in the 2020s..... too much bs

The new students who came in May intake haven't got the jobs yet that too in an area where population is relatively smaller, jobs chances are better etc. They have been applying for whole more than 2 months straight almost every day..and still no luck. Homelessness, drug problem is actually a real problem here. Pollution, greenery, electricity, water etc. k mamle mein I would say it's pretty okay unlike India jahan boht mushkil ho jata he. But I thini yahan or bhi bura haal hone wala he. O would prefer India all day every day. Well.. I'm still waiting for my studies to be completed...jikska ghanta koi fayda hone wala he..but .. so many people like me are in this dilema of going back vs staying here even after wanting so badly to go back to India. Id be totally okay with it, if we filtered the immigrants to be only from majority white countries, because they will assimilate, they dont shit in the street, and they would help us progress. Oh, hell no! I love visiting my American friends and family, but Canada is a much safer environment. It never feels safe when there are people who walk around with guns.
