Personally I would never move to a country if I knew my presence would make life harder for everyone else. I especially wouldn't move to a country if the billionaires wanted me to move, I don't wanna be their pawn to lower wages. This is how you become hated, I'd much rather move somewhere that the natives are put first. I don't care about history in this context, my people were the first slaves, I don't care, what we do now as individuals is what matters, and these individuals in Canada are bad people.

They have a massive country why don’t they fix their country before jumping ship and making everywhere else where they left. It’s not racist or xenophobic to ask why people would rather make a new country into their home country as opposed to fixing their problems at home.

I actually worked at Tim Hortons(I'm a white guy), and there were literally so many Indians that they'd order each other around in Hindi. They'd only speak English to me and the customers. I had a shift coordinator in fact who would reflexively give me orders in Hindi, and would get a little ticked off and repeat it in Hindi, and then when it clicked that I'm the only non-Hindi speaker there, he'd give 1 word orders like "Garbage" or "Sinks". The owner of the Tim Hortons also said that if I was a little slow or needed extra training, they wouldn't fire me because they don't like to keep rotating workers around, and instead would rather just retrain them. I was a tad bit slow(only because I was precise and not violating health and safety standards), and they fired me in like 10 seconds. Like my second monthly review, I was fired. I have a feeling it largely had to do with the fact that I was not Indian and didn't speak Hindi, so therefore the shift coordinators had less tolerance for me.

One thing that always surprises me is that a lot of immigrants actually don't like mass immigration. I worked with a polish lady who complained more than anyone about the amount of polish people. I've met a lot of Turkish people and a few of them weren't best pleased with the amount of turkish people, and in this video an Indian man says there's too much of it too. Its not an uncommon sentiment among immigrants that they specifically came here for a change in culture, only for it to follow them here. Specifically surrounding politics, a lot of them leave because of the politics where they were, only to find its just as much of a problem here because so many bring those problems over with them rather than leaving them behind. Just to clarify though while I think immigration is obviously a big problem in its current state, I'm not at all against the idea of immigration in general. I care more about where people are going than where they're from. Its just very odd when you hear a strong accented polish lady walk passed complaining and swearing about all the polish people. I guess it does make sense though, if i imagine desperately wanting to leave home for Australia, it would obviously be disappointing to arrive after packing up my life savings to find out all of the people and all of the things were exactly the same as back home. Pretty sad when you think about it.

TFW completely destroyed the Canadian job market. Canadian companies would rather use the program than hire local Canadian workers or young workers who are looking for there first job opportunity and gain experience. I respect immigrants who come to Canada, contribute to the community and economy and are willing to leave their culture in the past and adapt to our culture and language. I don’t respect immigrants who refuse to adapt to our language and culture. You’re in Canada, it’s either English and French, stop speaking Punjabi everywhere because we all can’t stand it, especially in businesses. Canada has a major immigration problem at this point. I am an African with a Master’s degree in Communication Studies, and I can bet you bike guy doesn't have a high school diploma, but he wants to talk about the intelligence level of all Africans? I've written two books and contributed a chapter to a compendium on journalism in West Africa. While I agree that many of the Africans going to Canada are from war-torn countries without a good education, he speaks of Africa like it's a monolith. Realities in Ghana aren't same as in Ethiopia. South Africa isn't same as Rwanda nor is Senegal same as Madagascar so unless he is referring to individual countries with specific examples, his claims don't even make any sense. I would like to see just one contribution from fatty to scholarship😂😂. EDIT: By the way, some of Africa's brightest minds include Ngozi Okonjo, an economist and politician (Nigerian) who serves as director general of the World Trade Organization; Vera Songwe, an economist (Cameroonian) who served as head of the UN Economic Commission for Africa; Dr. Tedros Adhanom an Ethiopian doctor who currently serves as DG of the World Health Organization; Prof. Salim Abdool Karim (South African) scientist globally respected for his research on immunology; Aliko Dangote (Nigerian) and Africa's richest man and one of the top 100 richest people in the world according to Forbes. In the US in 2025, ICE has deported half a million who are not in the US legally, and an estimated additional 1.5 million have self-deported, in some cases with government financial incentives. So 50k deportations might represent a comparably active effort for Canada, and 18k might be creditable for a Liberal government. But the effort sounds rather bureaucratic, and focused only on rejected refugee applications. I would want to know how many of these "deportations" are entirely on paper -- "your application has been rejected, please let yourself out at your earliest convenience." They spent roughly $5k per deportee, and that would cover air fare if the deportations were done privately, but adjudication costs money, and governments find many ways to make everything much more expensive. Also, if refugee claims can be judged false or inadequate, where are the efforts to determine whether "students" are really students? By the same token, the world is a dangerous place. I figure all those living in any of the many violent inner-city neighborhoods in the US have reason to fear for their lives. Similar facts are true of many millions around the world, and most of them would be rejected by Canadian immigration because they'd be safe if they simply moved to places they can't afford.

"We need talent"? We have talent! Canada is full of talent going to waste. Our government would rather import foreigners and slide them into canadian universitys and jobs than support, educate and train Canadians. What would white Canadians rather have? Indian immigrants concentrated in 1 city like Brampton or them spreading into many cities with smaller segregated communities?

I am an Indian immigrant living on GTA. If I was forced to live in Brampton, I would rather go back to India than live in Brampton. The problem with Brampton is a subset of Indians that are easily recognizable and do not assimilate. Most of these specific subset come here as students and through family sponsorship ( not regular immigration stream). The students get false documents for their language and educational credentials. The politicians are also to blame for pondering for their votes. If there is one ethnic group that has the capacity to destroy Canada further in the future to a point of no return, it is this subset. Unfortunately most Canadians do not know this, and Indians as a general group are seen as the problem. Next time just ask them where in India these people are from, and soon you will know for yourself.

One thing to highlight with not seeing any homeless Indians in that first seen is not that Indians are causing others to be homeless - rather, they are willing to help family out to prevent homelessness! When we first came here (20+ years ago from Ethiopia), we couldn’t find work and faced homelessness. Our extended family came thru and let the 4 of us stay in a small 1 bedroom in the basement until we could get on our feet. By having a room to be safe in, we avoided a lot of the consequences of homelessness that would have made getting back on our feet exponentially difficult. What I have found shocking now to see as a Canadian of 20+ years is my non-immigrant Canadian friends who will watch quietly as their family members fall under the poverty line and towards homelessness, avoiding inviting them in to not “disrupt their peace” at home. I’ve had random family of friends stay with me in hard times to avoid them being on the street while my generally kind friends (at least to others!) did not take them in. This individualistic mindset of the West really means if you have a low point in life, you will plummet to rock bottom…. Ofc homelessness and poverty is multifaceted but a more collective approach to community would also reduce the burden!

As someone who is born in Canada as an Indian. This is absolutely sad to here. I want the best for Canadians who are born and raised here. I have 10 years of experience working in the nation I was raised and I am having some people have my job who aren't even fit for the job. It makes no sense to me. Our wages have stalled due to international students for a better life, but at the end I want money just like other Canadians who have been here for ages. Also we need to end why our government allows lucrative hiring contracts overseas for cheaper positions in certain degrees and diplomas. In addition, why are all of our call centers placed all over the world. From Africa, south east Asia, South Asia. Those jobs can be available here. We can have a decomcratic country if our country didn't care about just "growth" we didn't need more immigration. We needed systematic change in government, schools, common sense, I could go on. I think us as Canadians don't know how corrupt the world really is. Look at other countries and how they work. It's lucrative essentives to benefit only certain people. I would rather have our tax payer money be used to fix the system. My dad's been here since the 1980s and he is sad for everyone. This is a loss on both ends. We didn't create new universities, new highways to support the population, no hospitals, new schools. I remember when my class sizes were 18 to 20 kids. We need change, not radical because we were never that. Let's do what we do best and be Canadians for us first.
