I wonder if we might make a shortcut in policy + create a border wall between New York City and the rest of the country. We could bus all the illegal aliens in the Northeast to New York City and let them have sanctuary there. Then just keep the whole glorious mess in the buroughs. Where they pay American wages. These companies left because they could produce the product cheaper abroad and Americans could buy it cheaper. If all the companies come back, prices will increase by 30%. And 70 percent of the population will buy 30% more expensively. Inflation will run wild. Poverty will increase. What's the point of this??
