It all boils down to how the Indians are raised in their own country. They are raised with the individual mentality. Do for yourself, and to hell with the others. Leave it for someone else to take care of. This is why their country is one of the dirtiest in all the world. They use the streets as a garbage can or toilet, then just leave it for someone else to clean it up. But, when everyone is raised with this attitude, there's no one left to clean it up. In India, they have the "untouchables". Yes, the caste system is still operating in India, although it's not recognized by the government. It's the untouchables that are supposed to clean up all the trash and feces off the streets, but they never do. They don't get paid to do it. This is why their trash clean up is so poor as far as having trucks go around and pick it up to take to a landfill. There are very few untouchables and the other people won't work for the trash pick up companies, because they feel it's beneath them. So, they trash their country and instead of cleaning it up, they move to another country to trash it. My brother used to be a truck driver for many years. Every time he saw a truck rolled over on it's side, he'd say "Must have been an Indian", because every rolled over truck he ever saw was driven by someone from India. If you look at videos of the traffic in India, you will see lot of trucks rolled over, and you'll see no one pay attention to stop lights, stop signs and everyone just cuts off everyone. This is the individual idea. I have to get somewhere, so I will cut you off to get there. It's always "Me, me, me". This attitude causes so many wrecks. Westerners have a hard time driving in India because we are all raised with everyone in mind, not just ourselves. We are a community, not an individual. We need to put a big wall around India and stop all airplanes going in and out, so they don't spread their diseased ideals of life and end up ruining another country. Do you know why India doesn't really take military training very seriously? Because no other country wants to invade and have to deal with the clean up. At this point, it's just about impossible to ever clean that country up.

I’m Punjabi, Indian and my parents came in the 1970s assimilated, and became hard working people and earned a name and reputation! I am an Indian student who has struggled to get my papers done, and I have to say this: mass immigration needs to stop. Canada should allow only people who speak good English and who can truly contribute to this country. I am an IT student, and I worked hard to clear $120K in debt through Scotiabank. I could have taken a loan in my home country, but I chose to work here because Canada gave me everything my own country could not. I am deeply grateful for that. But when I see people from my own community walking around in flip-flops, unable to speak even one word of English, it breaks me inside. My city—Brampton—has been completely taken over, and it’s becoming harder to even drive there now. I believe Canada needs to come together and put an end to this. Enough is enough. Immigration should be about quality, not quantity.

I am an immigrant,I never abused the system, never took what was not mine, I worked hard and I am nurse, I waited four years to purchase my dream car and 2 months in, the person who don’t use road codes or stop light hit my car! I worked hard and I am kind and respectful…. People who steal DAILY gets a slap on their wrist and gets their Canadian citizenship right away. I don’t eat or drink and place my cup on store shelves with clothes that other people are about to purchase. Canada is not safe anymore! All the jobs are going to a set of immigrants who acts like pigs! Driving in the dowtown area, u have to keep your foot on the break because there WILL be about 20 bikes that will ride in front of your car without notice . I work so hard and sometimes it’s so overwhelming, the last time this got to me…. I had to go and take a little vacation…. No I could not afford it but it’s better than getting stressed out because Canada is becoming a 3rd world country!!! There are HONEST people who work so hard and cannot afford anything , not even their rent! WE ARE FED UP, it is not the older immigrants, it is the new ones that are destroying the country and turning it into trash!

I'm a born and raised Canadian, as well as my husband. Even before our country was completely taken over, employment was hard to come by because of the fw's. 8 years ago, my husband had enough with trying to find a job, he stopped counting at over 450 resumes that were ignored, so he decided that we should start our own company, a small delivery company that 2 years later, we added a safe ride service to (driving drunk people home in their own vehicle). I was the manager of a little pizza place, which was run by immigrants, but good ones. I was hired because my husband approached them about doing deliveries, and they wanted to meet me. I had no idea I was going for an interview but they begged me to work for them, their reason; although they could speak English, they weren't fluent in it, so they wanted an English speaking employee who could easily understand the customer's. Within days, I was promoted to manager, and I loved my job and all of them. They treated everyone with such kindness and generosity. I found out just how much support they got from our government, when I broke down one day because I couldn't afford my prescription. My boss was so confused because he and his family got free prescriptions, dental, eye care, etc and they thought everyone got that. My boss paid for my prescription and actually apologized to me for how our own government treated us. He also showed me that they get $2,500 every 2 weeks, funding to start or buy businesses, but if they don't hire other fw's or immigrants, that funding changes to a grant and they have to pay it back. They are given money for housing, and vehicles. He was pushed out of that business by his 2 partners, and the partner's promised him I would keep my job. That was a complete lie. They stopped putting me on the schedule, claiming financial problems (bs), but hired not one but two new full time immigrant employees. I lost it and quit. Our town isn't that big, and word spread fast, especially when everyone found out that I was still owed over $2,000, which I will never see because no government agency will help me. Their business is actually struggling now and I love that for them. As for my husband and I's business, it's going strong but I came unglued when we recieved a letter from the government "suggesting" that we hire immigrants. I wrote back, telling them in no uncertain terms would that ever happen, and it will be a cold day in hell when one of us steps back so one of the government's favored people can take that money from us because we are the only 2 employees and we're not sacrificing a damn thing for someone who already gets everything.

All the suffering I see by my fellow Canadians while new immigrants flash unlimited gift cards, drive spanking new, high end vehicles, and go home to paid for homes is very hard to stomach. I have never felt bad feelings toward any group of people, but that is changing by the day. The garbage on the ground and the filthy public restrooms are disgusting. The shoplifting is off the charts…I literally witnessed a group of black young women walk slowly out of a Winners store while the alarms blared and the staff just shrugged. Canadians cannot get jobs, the service has tanked in the last few years due to an entitled workforce with a bad attitude. wtf?

These individuals (refugees, etc.) are receiving government funding of $ 10,000 a month. They boast on TikTic that if you come to Canada as a refugee, the government gives you free housing and $85K a year. You do not have to work, As soon as they arrive in Canada, they are driving expensive cars, getting free food from Costco, getting credit cards from the bank and purchasing houses. They drive Teslas, BMWs, and the most expensive cars that they could have never ever owned in their country. The healthly men do not work and live a luxurious life all at the expense of we the tax payers. Meanwhile, hard-working, tax-paying Canadians are living paycheck to paycheck. Yep we are screwed big time, here in Moncton New Brunswick we only used to have a small number of Immigrants usually a mix of francophone students and refugees properly vetted by immigration. Jobs were available for everyone, a small example is the taxi cab drivers who were usually a mix of older semi retired Canadians, Sudanese and Syrian refugees who communicated well and tried to adapt to their new home, Canada. COVID hit and we started seeing Punjabi’s coming in unprecedented numbers, they say as students, from Brampton Ontario?Overnight all Walmart, Taxi/Truck Driving jobs, Tim Hortons, McDonalds were Punjabi jobs who do we blame? Rents are high, jobs once available are unavailable life has become hard where do we run same people voted again for the same government that has destroyed us 😢😢😢.

When I was living in Vancouver, I (and many ppl) would just drive cross the border to get gas and groceries because it's just much cheaper once you're on US soil.... For years we cannot retain any talents because they would just migrate to the states because the pay is much higher with less taxes. I used to live in a bubble thinking that even though life is tough and it's harding to make a living here but at least it's more peaceful here than the States. Canada imported 1m Indians to Canada to a country that has few job, high rents and hard to survive. They knew when those migrants weren't happy, they would cross over to New York. We all know that. There are tons of them driving Uber, DoorDash. Come to Elmhurst Queens, Jersey City, Edison.

Lived in Canada for almost 40 years. Worked in USA for 5 years 25 years ago. I did make a lot more money in USA then, luckily, I was in my 20s and almost never seen a doctor in my 5 years in the USA. \nThank God I didn't get into any accident while there. \n\nIn general, I observed many people in the USA are not good neighbors. Simple observation, ex you drive and merge into a lane in a busy SF Bay Highway you need to fight hard to get into a lane. In BC, Canada, merging lanes is very orderly, each vehicle takes turn merging into a lane one entering from one lane and then another vehicle from another lane with respect and consideration. \nIn the USA, I think it is this brutal mentality translates into policy in health care and education, you are not responsible to help your community in any way and take while you can for yourself.

While many return home after a few months without success, those who secure jobs often refuse to assimilate. Instead, they create workplace tensions to drive out the locals, and once they got onto managerial positions, often conduct preferential hiring towards people of their own ethnicity / village. \n \nThis trend must stop. \n\n1. Someone who has a desired skill, and are ready embrace other cultures, should apply work visa. \n2. Someone who is a scholar, or geniunely wishes to study in foreign university, should apply student visa. \n3. Someone who is a mediocre opportunist who wants a quick backdoor to a job or permanent residency in other country, should not disguise themselves as a student. \n \n\nNot that hard.

Low skill and low wage might have been ok when costs were low - low food prices, low energy prices, low housing and rental costs, etc. Now that everything is incredibly expensive, Canada is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Either wages will go up (which have been fairly stagnant for the last 30-40 years) so that it goes above and beyond inflation, OR you will not be able to bring in low skill, low wage labor. Simply put, when rents are $3000 a month in Toronto, minimum wage of $15/hr is $2500/mth (before taxes). Add another $1000/mth for food, and $500/mth for other expeditures - and you can see that just to survive - a person in Toronto needs a minimum of $4500/mth to not be on the streets. And this is IFF they are not married and have kids which can easily drive expenses to $6000/mth\n\nSo... for someone to just live normally, they need a bare minimum of $30/hr for 2000hr/year - this is a salary of $60K before taxes!\n\nBut the median income in Canada is 35K to 40K (it's on your tax return which determines if you get extra help from the government).\n\nSo... with these prices - you will never get low wage workers here... period. You can't expect immigrants to work as slaves and then pull your country out of the mess you created by spending money on useless programs like a drunken sailor.\n\nCut costs, cut taxes, cut inflation (stop printing money), cut useless programs (ala DOGE in the US), allow housing to crash, diversify your economy, invest in start ups and entrepreneurs, increase salaries, scrap the carbon tax, etc. Notice - none of these have anything to do with immigration.

You want work in Canada go to rural areas and get into logging.\n You will be about a 6 hour drive from Toronto. \n But you'll find work and houses prices affordably.\n Wait no that was 25 years ago when i was 15 i worked at a mill that's now closed. I made $7.25/hour then man beside me had been there for 40 years or so amd was making $9/hour.\n Canadians have never been rich only hard working exploited and since demanding better pay as the boss drives exotic imported cars but we can't even eat or have a vehicle the mill closes and everybody has no work.

I live in a city of 100,000 and a lot of jobs that used to go to our kids are now going to immigrants. Go to a drive through and there's hardly any Caucasians working there. It's like we're living in a foreign country.

I believe it's the younger generation of Indians. \nThey lack experience and professionalism.\nThe trucking industry is a very good example. \nThey don't drive the vehicles very well. There is a serious lack of skill with many of them to the point where some will pay other drivers $100.00 to back their combine and trailer up for them.\nThe men appear as lazy, that could be the culture where they expect their women to do everything for them or again it's the generation, im not sure.\nI went to school with many Indian of India when I was young and they always appeared as a good hard working culture.\nBottom line: they need to change people's perception of them.

I agree with you leaving. I am a 3rd generation retired Canadian who used to be proud to be so. Now I am not, in fact I am embarrassed to say I am Canadian as it is nothing to be proud of. I think of how good things were in the 70's and 80's while I was young and now how bad things are today and it is truly depressing. Back then if you are willing to work, you could make a decent living, buy a car, a house and raise a family - today, good luck with that. The people in the west have had no say in the faulty governments we have had as Ontario and Quebec have put the final nails in our coffin when they elected that buffoon JT for a third consecutive term and then the NDP kisses his butt to join up and torture us more when most sane Canadians did not ask for this. I am in the slow process of moving from New York to Thailand. Was planning Singapore but too many billionaires headed there making it hard to immigrate for us non-decamillionaire.\n\nNew York is too expensive and taxes keep going up for worse and worse service. It's not racist when it's all the different Canadians from different cultural backgrounds agreeing on this. We only have a few large cities in our country. There is no infrastructure or housing to support this. Most of the country is very harsh to live in during the winter. It's hard to drive anywhere. Prices are skyrocketing, and criminals are flooding the streets.

Struggling immigrants are hardly in a league to be driving up rents on 2.5k/month apartments. As explained, governments have bombed on several other fronts that has hurt the whole country.

There are very large numbers of foreign students and other categories of immigrants which may have as their goal going to the US after getting a temporary visa to Canada which is easy to get - maybe something like half a million to a million people in those categories depending on the year, plus around another half million regular immigrants and refugees now. The Trudeau administration has increased immigration to record numbers. It has been steadily going up over the years for several decades since 1990. Because of family re-unification it can have a snowball effect and could significantly exceed 1 million per year. A lot of the sending countries have much larger populations than Canada, so there are a lot more that can be potentially sent to Canada in the future. Are they going to go on welfare, are they going to increase crime, will they somehow contribute to society, are they a net tax benefit or cost in terms of government services, will they invest money, will they start a business and create jobs for others ? Those issues do not factor into government decision making in Canada for the most part. Ontario Premier Doug Ford did say there were too many foreign students. It is bad planning not to consider those factors since there are other costs that grow with those policies as well, and infrastructure has to be expanded. I think that the real immigration numbers to Canada are not transparent or made public, nor are the costs involved, if anyone even knows what they are. Nor is the impact on crime. You can guess from what the reports are in other countries. The Fraser Institute has made some estimates on the net costs of immigration to the government budget a few years ago, which were very high and which by now have increased - the cost equivalent of several new aircraft carriers each year. They are big numbers which are not publicized, but it amounts to the fact that immigration is subsidized by the taxpayers in Canada and it is not paying for our pensions as an ageing society as has been claimed. There is less money for education, health care and pensions per person, and those social benefits will probably have to be reduced over time. Social programs can only be delivered to the extent that the government has money. The bigger social system a county has, the more such immigration policies are going to cost. The US is better governed in general and has a better system in many ways, but I am not sure if it is the same on that. People have arrived on boats and have not been sent back. At least in the US you have more open information about those issues. In Canada it is hard to find out anything about it. Deportations from Canada are very few. \nOn other issues in Canada when voting in federal elections you have to show a government issued photo ID like a drivers' license or passport to vote and bring a card that was mailed out to eligible voters that gets updated addresses when a person files their taxes. I have never heard of mail-in ballots in Canada, but there are remote areas of the country in the far north who may have special system for voting. It is easier to get a Canadian citizenship than US and many more citizenships are handed out in Canada each year in proportion to the population than in the US. Canadian might be one of the easiest citizenships to get in the world. The official line now is that it is a country of immigrants. Based on current trends, will very little opposition to it in the parliament and most MPs supporting it, future immigration to Canada could increase to several million per year because of the rapid growth of population in the world, and the momentum already growing of immigration to Canada, so it may change significantly in the future. Historically around the world you can see many examples that country names, borders, flags and languages change over time with population changes, so it might not be called Canada anymore in 50-100 years. For example, Bulgaria used to be called Thrace which had been a powerful kingdom in antiquity and had a different language which is barely known about anymore. Over the past 2,000 years it has gone through a number of changes and had various regimes governing it, has been independent and also part of several different empires. Canada has only been a country for a short time in comparison and has been been going through significant changes. Trudeau has said that Canada is a post-national country. I love both Canadians & Americans. However, in my travels, I have felt Americans to be more tribal. People hold on to their political identity so hard it alienates others. Its starting to happen more here, but its common to put the person before the politics. Also, ever experience a kindness train at a Timmies line up (person pays for the person behind them at the drive thru)? That's Canadian kindness to me.

My family are Central American immigrants. The vast majority of them have been blue collar hard working people that helped shape what we live in today. I am first generation born Canadian coming from this blue collar family of hard working immigrants that earned their Canadian citizenship. I think most of us who have immigrant family from anywhere have seen this. I cannot necessarily say I’ve seen this type of work or drive to contribute from the Indians that immigrate to Canada. Yes there are some who really contribute, but that should be the norm not the exception. I don’t have anything against them, I just really wished Canada would be more diligent on who they let in and how many they let in. This is the result of just opening the flood gates. Canada has always been multicultural, but you gotta earn your keeps.

People are paying life long EMI till death.\n- Teachers focus more on Private tutions to make money. If you don’t take lessons from them, they will fail you in education system \n-Government doctors more focus on Private practices than their Government jobs. In ICU doctors sometimes sleep because they are tired for their private pactices.\n- Court takes decades to settle court cases. \n- Extremely high inflation - Food prices uncontrolled \n- Retirees not worked for Government getting hard time to pay bills specially medical treatment cost. It’s really hard for them to stay in big cities. No Indian government help and support. Government basically don’t care them. Only big big words at the time of vote \n- middle class working upto 11 pm to save their job , no retirement money- just surviving \n- After completing MBA, lot of job seekers land in selling target oriented credit card selling and driving Uber/ Toto \n- Ministers have so much under table money they keep their money inside the walls of their property \n- Sides of Highways full of Poverty . No good food, no proper sanitation \n- Farmers have to commit suicide for manipulated Government practices \n- Police is not writing FIRs if you are categorized as opponent \n-Fake promises are given to illegal immigrants/ Hawkers/ by Ministers for creating Ministers Vote Bank\n-\n- Ministers create vote banks from Hindu- Muslim riots \n- Ambani’s spend millions of dollars inviting top celebrities where 60% poverty prevails \n\n- Health care system is changing extremely high prices for small surgeries because Insurance will pay. At age 80 , all top insurer declines coverage when you need coverage otherwise premium is extremely high so that you can’t afford \n- Middle class is pressuring their kid to get admission in a reputed Private school and still has to pay high amount of donations.\n- Modi wants to make digital India which is great. Did he cared how the uneducated citizens, needs medical attention can cope with Government rules. He didn’t care. Indian's are saying they're too many indians here. Its not a secret. We're completely overrun. I like indian people mostly, they're hard working, they don't live off the system, non violent, and they're polite. I honestly feel badly for them. They are treated like garbage by schools (who are robbing them blind) and other Indians who are taking advantage of cheap and under the table labour. They could do with some respect for our laws regarding distracted driving as I've seen countless indian people texting and driving with their feet on the dash whilst operating an 18 wheeler on the highway..Not exactly what I'd call safe or considerate. If they learned how to drive, and %50 of them went somewhere else we'd be fine. They've completely taken Brampton and most of Toronto over. Its too much pressure on our housing and health care currently. We're bursting at the seams with indian people. It's out of control.

Used to be if you wanted to come to Canada you had to have a certain amount of money! I think that should be the case as well as also educated. Australia had a point system and its very hard to immigrate there, we should have that too. Lets stop dumbing everything down! Immigrants come and they come from 3rd world countries and they then offer their serves at lower standards. I used to house clean, I was a single mom with 3 kids and I made a good living. I lost a few jobs to NANNIES who were hired to take care of kids only and before I knew it they were cleaning the house and I was let go. Now those nannies could have just looked after their kids. They didn't even get more money to clean the house. Screwed me out of work and gave them selves more work without more pay! I see it in the Massage Therapy industry too, they post rates a lot lower than the going rate! Janitor serves, truck driving, all are being dumbed down and lower quality! Franshises all being bought out and having major health issues with food quality...dumbing it down to their country of origin!! Im so sick of it all.

Instead of blaming these people, one must question their own government authorities who make the rules and legislation to facilitate this. Maybe it's just the truth of a desperate Canadian economy that needs immigrants to keep fueling the 'aging' Canadian economic engine. These people come in and work hard, odd jobs (not to mention the exceptional skilled ones as well like Doctors, health care workers etc.) which the regular Canadian wouldn't do. I've been in Canada for 2 years without a Family doctor. Thank God, the last 10 different Doctors I met were all fresh immigrants and came to my rescue. Ask your conscience, without these immigrants, you wouldn't be getting your late night coffee at the time Hortons drive thru, no one to take your blood works without you waiting several months in waiting, no ways for universities to subsidize tuition fees for the poorer Canadian students. If immigrants stop coming in, the nice detached home you live in will go down in value, the nice truck you drive will become more expensive, your kids University tuition fees will sky rocket, Canadian companies selling groceries, furniture, etc. Will have lesser revenue and eventually get eaten up be American giants, Canadian companies won't have cheap labour to build those much needed housing. \nNot only question your government, but also question your 'own' people.. Where are they to serve you? Where are the so called patriotic 'original' Canadian Doctors'? They are off to US to earn more money. U think they care enough for their home country?\n If Canada won't, somebody Else will accept these people. Him being deported or not doesn't matter, the rules and regulations that allow such inexperienced drivers drive these huge dangerous rigs is a huge problem. I get that the economy suffers from a job shortage in the truck driving sector, but this is NOT the way. It's sad to see so many people jump to race or immigration to try to explain their frustration with our current issues in Canada. We are doing this, Canada is importing immigrants for our economic benefit. We Canadians are all NIMBY and making it hard to build the housing we need, wanting our houses to increase in value indefinitively, not wanting the less comfortable jobs like truck driving, yet letting corporations profit by putting woefully inadequate truck drivers on the road. Immigrants CAN be problematic, but in Canada we are creating our own problem.
