Sometimes, it ends up in a tragedy, but MOST times, it allows for the neediest to get it first. \nAs far as having children here, we have a NEGATIVE birthrate, so our government PAYS us to have children. My son grew up in Quebec, and they have a double everything. Double taxes (not that bad after the tax deductions and credits), but they also Double the safety net and services, compared to the rest of Canada. Not only was childbirth free, so were the pre-natal courses and everything else, AND we got around 1000$/mo in childcare benefits, until he turned 18, with full of tax credits per kid. Plus, daycare was 5$/day back then, it's 7$/day almost 20 years later.. Pretty citizen friendly. \nThings MIGHT be changing though. Im in Alberta even though i was born in Ontario. Ive lived in almost every province and came back to Alberta years ago. My boys were born here the 1st time i was here. I would never live in any other province but Alberta! We are more like our own Republic here anyways and despise Ottawa which is fine by me considering Trudeau is there. US - the problem is when there are obvious problems you have a system that allows big money into politics, which allows for lobbying, which in my opinion is legal bribery. I always thought Trump was being dumb when he said, “they don’t send their best ppl” until I moved to Mexico and cross Paso del Norte once a month. Every month I take a bus up to Juarez and I ride with these migrants, and let me tell you something… they’re not all women and children. About 60-70% are young LITERAL thugs. I almost got jumped by a group of four of them when I arrived to the Juarez bus station for the first time. Mexicans are tired of these ppl as well, don’t get it twisted. 90% of Mexicans I’ve talked to don’t want them in their towns bc they say that since they’ve arrived muggings, burglary’s, and r@pes have severely gone up. In the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s most of the migrants were just ppl who wanted to work, these ppl that I’ve met time and time again talk like the US owes them and has to let them in. It’s crazy. Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!!
