I don't even recognize Brampton anymore, used to be more multiculture now it's just dominated by one type of culture. Honestly, not just Brampton, if you go to Markham, you will find that more asian culture is dominating, if you go to North York, you will find more Jewish culture dominating. Canada's post-pandemic Indian migrants definitely do not hail from India's upper class. Most of the recent arrivals are from towns and villages in Punjab, Gujarat and Haryana, i.e. India's "Wild West". India's upper class usually migrates directly to the US, UK, UAE and Singapore. Canada and Australia used to be popular destinations, but there's so many lower class Indians in Canada and Australia that neither country is sought after by the richer Indians now.

They’ve committed ATROCITIES (not just in Canada), yet have the audacity to act like they’re the cleanest ones in the land. While I do agree some Indians do not improve the reputation, most are really kind, helpful and honest people. Perhaps treat everyone like humans for a change instead of using the bad ones as a benchmark. PS, cutting to the ugly streets when someone mentions Punjab is probably the cheapest attention grab, obviously there’s bad streets, ugly roads, gross people everywhere but so are beautiful ones, lovely countryside views, beautiful mountains and most of all, very hardworking and respectful people as well. I'm Canadian. I've spend my entire adult life involved with everything immigration. I have no problem with immigration which to me is people moving. It offers great people and great things. From Vancouver here, last couple week was wild. Me and my friends and family stand with Canada and support local economy ?? this is gonna leave a scar for Canadian and US relationship for a very long time

People move to countries with wild dreams fantasising that everything will be easier and they will be richer. A lot of people just can't adapt to a new country. Some do extremely well. I know a lot of entrepreneurs that have gone to the US and Canada to start businesses and then they move back to their countries in South America or India to live an amazing lifestyle and travel a lot. I suppose it's nice to accumulate wealth faster and know that you have a Canadian passport to fall back on if you need to get out? I'm part first nations. I do not live in Canada for related reasons - but I love my country and what we stand for.

I went to Florida with a church group when I was 12, we stopped in Detroit to eat and when we left the restaurant our Van had no wheels and was sitting on blocks ?. And it does seem to be the Chinese, Indians, and Nigerians (a lovely EDI mix) of thieves. \nCanada has spoken, we don’t want them, we don’t like them; and they do not like us, they want us out of our own country. This isn’t a racial issue; this is a cultural issue. You cannot have these anti-West people in our western nation. They gotta go. And who cares about the international students anymore or the money “they bring in”. Universities are registered not-for-profits in Canada, so the for-profit argument can’t track. \nCanada needs a RICO law so we can more easily seize their assets and expel them, and hold universities to the fire for this crap, and the government officials getting kickbacks. The GOC is the largest human trafficking pimps, and the universities are bottom bi***es. And don’t think we don’t know that the 30% cap DOESN’T apply to companies like Navitas who recruit for the universities, are housed in the universities, but are separate, private companies.

My life is good enough but I'm older than you and was able to buy a house, etc... My kids on the other hand.... I worry for them. Both of them just got their EU citizenship, but I'm not sure if Europe is any better (I don't know yet). I'm anxious to see where you end up. \n\nSidenote, my mother's side is Ukrainian and settled in east rural Saskatchewan in the early 1900s. Ukrainians are the most hospitable and wonderful people, and growing up, when I would go visit them, it was almost as if I was in Ukraine, not Canada. The language, the food, etc... it was wild and I never appreciated it for what it was until I was much older.
