It perspective, Because of India’s sheer scale, even a fringe minority of 10% of bad Indians lets just say, represents a population equivalent to an entire mid-sized nation.

As a Caribbean Indian, I hate how these Indians from India have twisted the perspective towards Indians across the world. They’re so problematic. And Im from Trinidad but everyone assumes I’m from India and I hate it. Just cuz i look like you doesn’t mean I’m from your homeland. And to the Canadians, just cuz I look like them doesn’t mean you can assume I’m from India. I have never been to India so stop assuming I’m from there. Imagine seeing an Asian person in markham and assuming they’re from China and speak Chinese when their family has been in Canada for generations.

Appluses for hearing one side of the story. Care to hear the perspective of an Indian Immigrant in Canada? Then read on. I believe most people are barking up the wrong tree. As a legal immigrant who migrated here with a nuclear family only on merit, I believe I earn the privilege to voice my thoughts here. First of all, rather than blaming the hoards of Indian immigrants, why don't anyone ask questions to the people who allowed it? Why not ask the politicians who vetoed it? Why not ask the police who is not able to stop reckless drivers? Why not ask the minister's who allow hospitals to run under staffed? USA has a massive Indian diaspora. But they are mostly IT workers and CEOs and Doctors. So who was at mistake of bringing illiterate, uncouth Indians to Canada? After earning all the required merit, and paying as much taxes from my family that is equivalent to minimum wages of at least 4 people, it hurts me to see undeserving people taking benefits of the system, while we get the short end. No one seemed too concerned when Indian students brought in so much money and revived some dead economies. No one blamed thousands of Punjabi businesses bringing in dollars into the economy. India, with its 150 billion people has s#!to eaters and people who can buy out Canada. You only see the bad. Press the government to bring in good people. Doctors, engineers, lawyers, scientists, business people, who will add value to the country and generate you jobs and salaries and grow this country. Not cooks and drivers only. Khalistan and Pro-BJP factions are both bad outside India. They all should go back and let the peace loving Indians and Canadians live here in peace. I don't hate anyone, but just the people who make my home country and me look bad. We ain't that bad after all.

this video was very unresolved message buddy. i am sorry if my words sound stupid or weird, my apologies. as an indian who live in india, yes the scarcity related to jobs and financial scrutiny is real but i wouldn't dare leave my country. there are ways to live happily here i am sure for some it might not be as such and they chose to live abroad that's their decision i have nothing to say there. but you have to also understand India houses 1.47 billion population. 1 out of 300 people are able to get in canada but since the size pool is bigger that tries for it the number sky rocket as well. i have no remarks against india not against the canadian who have lived there for generations. in my eyes they both are right and it's government that should do something about it. i can totally understand the perspective of white canadians if all they see is a chruch that was turned into a hindu temple.

This documentary starts on a very partisan note, but it doesn't end on one. I don't speak for all Hindus, but when I lived in Australia, my values told me to integrate and treat everyone equal. Now I am back living in India with a global perspective and renewed respect for world cultures. Yes, Canada has had a lot on unchecked unskilled immigration which is bound to cause issues- but I'd like to believe, and my Hindu faith teaches me, that people are inherently good.

The actions of few spoiled Indians affect the entire Decent Indian community and India. Canada is in need of labour force due to less population and India has more population but insuffient jobs to engage people. If this scenario is reversed Indians would be complaining like canadians do. So the problem is not one way, just becos reducing immigrants does not solve the issue. people have to see things past nationality or physical identity into the statistics. even though canada has professionals of their own there are people who work with dedication and who work without interest, or recent generation being attracted to digital life instead of understanding that college degrees in mainstream subjects are what earns them job and also they have to show dedication and hardwork along with smart work, comply by the work place rules and so on... this goes to all invariable of who they are. all these started changing and now people instead of trying to correct these small changes that lead to these large issues of cost of living and low wages, have now started to pit against live people and their race, nationality or culture. There are good and bad people eveyrwhere, people cant justify the actions of drug addicts roaming the streets and that has increased a lot now, people acting violently against others just becos they dont have what the other has, and so on. but instead of addressing the high amount of actions that are happening around our own country, it has become easy to put blame on each other. I am not justfying the actions of these bad indians who has done these stuff. but we have to see the other side of it before making this a International Issue. Yes, few Indians are bad but not the entire community. Canada has its own needs that needs a lot of hands and support. So, only if we change our perspective beyond the emotional BS we exhibit, we can address the real issue with real solutions. BTW becoz of these things private companies are the one profitting not the Govt.

I worked in India for 6 years and then shifted abroad for a Masters, and now I am pursuing a fully funded PhD. In the UK, what I have observed is that the crop of students arriving from India are by the day lesser inclined towards studies and more in pursuit of the quick buck. Yes, getting a ‘UK based work experience’ is necessary to build the edge to compete against the wider international students post graduation and I have myself worked part-time in profiles which complimented my course in parallel to prioritising studies. However, the increasing trend amongst the masses (I do not want to generalise but yes this is unfortunately true and especially from certain states, the case is magnified: Read Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana) remains getting that student visa to earn quick buck to support themselves financially, chiefly, save up to dole out to so called ‘assignment writers’ which helps them pass the course to further graduate and transfer to a grad visa (again comes at a cost) which allows them 2 years worth of stay with no working hour stipulation post graduation. Thereon, work full time in laborious jobs with again not focussing on applying to full time opportunities in the field of study. Thus, what remains at the end of the day is lost time and opportunity and since I am only talking of people who come here on a Student VISA so primarily, the opportunity cost lost to upskill and further horizons. For the country’s perspective, getting cheap, skilled labour for an unskilled job is obviously an advantage but then there are cases of students not respecting their working hour restrictions, vandalising, bickering loudly, joining hands with the already operating extremist forces which instigate violence and hatred etc. In all, I think the resistance to not becoming bicultural which is a product of serious mental and physical toil and wasting time in frivolity is the main cause of the anti-immigration wave.

There’s concern about extremist groups, the instability Rawalpindi brings, and whether Pakistan could ever embrace the same religious harmony that India enjoys. In Indian cantonments, people of all faiths celebrate each festival together—could Pakistan someday share this unity and respect for diversity?\n\nOn the Pakistani side, many feel merging isn’t practical. They believe it would only create more problems with a larger population, and cultural differences might make it difficult. They worry about job competition, about religious fanatics clashing, and about how their way of life might change.\n\nI know this dream may sound foolish to some, but I believe nothing is impossible if both sides truly want it. History shows that countries have overcome their divisions.\n\nI don't know why, but I just wanted to share these thoughts. I don’t want to get into the blame game over who caused the partition; I only dream of a future where understanding, peace, and mutual respect guide us all.

The only thing I would say cause you seem to be very young. Is that brampton actually in the 70's and to early 2000's used to be mostly a white and black community and then other cultures. I am born in Toronto I have a cousin born in Toronto who currently lives in brampton she owns a house in brampton for about 25 years. And is going through a lot mentally with the slamming. We got of people from India mostly in the last 2 years, but it's been going on slowly over 10 years and she's not doing well with the overwhelment of Indians and we're of black Jamaican heritage. So just so you know, brampton used to actually be white and then black was actually the second largest population and everybody else was after that. And then in the last 10 years they started coming but it wasn't in hundreds of thousands and then in the last 2 years it blew up insanely. As that man described is like an invasion. I now live on the West Coast of Canada and the same thing has happened here. And it's been a lot for me Canadian born. I've always grew up with every culture. I've lived and worked around the Indians that used to come here were literally not even on the radar. I mean you see them, but you just they just blended in because most of them had assimilated and were doing their lives. The breed that has come over specifically in the last 2 years is what is making it even worse cause if they acted like the ones who came before 10 -20 -30 years ago. They probably wouldn't stand out, but then again when you bring in almost a million, into all of Canada, they would stand out, but maybe people wouldn't be so agitated, if they had tried to assimilate and be respectful to the other cultures here and that is the number one complaint I hear anytime, I see interviews. Is people saying they don't assimilate? They're very rude to anybody who is not them. They are just interacting with the environment. The way they do at home, Canadians are more quiet and try to be respectful of other cultures. We like to just have their own space and our own peace when they're moving throughout this space and a lot of people describe the energy of the Indians coming in almost evasive into your space and then not really carrying anything about invading ur space. They act like, so what's the big deal if I'm in your space and that has been the number one issue is just the rudeness. Not assimilating and imposing their culture, speaking their language, not attempting to integrate with other cultures showing actually a lot of racism to some of the other cultures. And that has been the biggest problem. So just so you know, cause I can tell you're young. I'm North 40 years old and I can tell you. The demographic change has been so intense everywhere in Canada especially in the last 2 years. That I have even seen podcast with Indian people who have been here 10 -20-30 years, saying the government needs to figure out a way and get a good swath of these people gone because they are. Staining them with a negative brush. Cause I can tell you. It's only in the last 5 years. That I notice Indians. I've grown up around every culture. And I just don't notice individual cultures in that way. Until in 2022, Trudeau took the guard railsl off the foreign worker program and the student Visa working program. And just said Hey, anybody want to come bum rush the door now? And India is known for having middlemen in India that work with Fake Diploma Mills scholls with brampton having over 80 of them that the middlemen work scamming Indians by telling them if they pay anywhere from $5000 all the way up to $50,000 even higher to get fake school acceptance letters, so they can come here to get the word permit and work full-time or with companies that provide fake LMIA job offers on the black market, which is illegal under the I.R.C.C, but that is a thing that they had prior to 2022. And when Trudeau took the guards rails off when it comes the requirements and basically. Made it a free-for-all and as India already had the scamming infrastructure in place that kept their population moderate and it just allowed th scammers to go nuts, so that's why we got mostly Indians. Other cultures do it too, but it's so tiny. It's not noticeable. The Indians already had the infrastructure in place that when they took off the guard rails, it was easy for them to switch and start selling these opportunities to go to these fake schools was over 80 of them in brampton t such a lightening speed. Hence why we got slammed so hard-and-fast with that specific community.That just really we're coming here to work and send money home and that is also why a lot of our banks are now struggling with cash reserved because they're sending money home. So just thought I'd give you that angle. I understand you're doing it from your culture's perspective mostly but you're missing a whole bunch of information. So I thought I'd fill you in actually, brampton used to be a white and black city for a long time, and recent flooded in the last 2 and why it happened from that community so quickly in 2022

Most indians come to canada in search for better job oppurtunities. Also most of the comment section is ( im not trying to be racist ) but from white people. Try and see from the perspective of the indians. Even though people in india try to clean their country, its still not hygene and there are better job opportunities and education in canada

We needed your honesty here good sir! I can't go to India and do whatever I want and that should tell you how much Indians disrespect Canada and our country. It is not a small percentage of Indians it is cultural - Indians give off an attitude of I won't be assimilating to your Canadian culture. This was the case before the opened immigration policy but they stayed in line due to the risk of their residency. Today Indians are acting like social justice warriors, protesting and making demands all the while Canadians are suffering. Indians would never stand for this if non-Indians came to India and demanded anything as immigrants. I am a Canadian of Asian descent as well. And therefore have also an insiders perspective.\nI think that the Vlogger, speaking here was already culturally assimilated before he came. The people that he is speaking to and giving constructive criticism to are economic immigrants. \nPerhaps it’s less differences of India vrs Canada but a difference in where we are on Maslow‘s hierarchy and of needs.

It’s not a hatred as much as is their way to get things. For example jobs. You marry Indian so you see matters from a different perspective, their prospective. I remember one significant situation in one of a dealership place where I bought a car. There was only one Indian representative there working. Two years later I saw only Indian men working there. The way how they pushed other people away from jobs and hired their own kind, that enjoys me so much. And one more thing if we allows that many students from only one country, you think is fair for others young people not to be able to come here and study. The title is a little misleading. I do not believe GDP and per per capita as being a true measure of per capita income as to be relative to all countries. In the UK you pay for a meal deal in the UK it can cost you £5.00 yest in India you can enjoy a full meal in India for a family. You have shops that sell Hugo Boss, but you can find shops or stalls that sell you clothes for less than a Pound. So relatiivity and perspective should be seen when looking at these International terminologies.

Hi Abhu n Niku,\n\nI always love your fact based information. I wish you did more of surveys or interviews of Indian immigrants in Canada. Ideally different people from different states in India have different experiences in Canada. Plus previous qualifications, some students here do not even get up and go to college or university to attend lectures and we blame Canada for not giving them jobs. Blame Indian movies that show 2 extremely opposite sides of lifestyles of immigrants in Canada. Either as high profile business people as if they own the country or as poor labourers with 2 or more sharing a common room in a basement. Improve the perspective of people by improving the quality of movies based on immigration to western countries. You can find students who got job, car and house in Canada in 5 years and you can also see students who unfortunately couldn’t do so much. We cannot generalize things.

As an Indian student, i would like to share with you my perspective \n1) you will never see me dancing in public, blasting music and littering \n\nI actually spend my sundays cleaning plastic from trails \n\n2) i am a full time student for 4 years funding over 90 grand for a bachelor on top of that paying my taxes and paying 1100$ a month for rent being limited to 24 hours a week I do not work outside campus I work the job the college provided to me \n\nThe problem comes up when people use the 1 year and 6 month diploma program to enter the country and work here full time \n\nThey associate themselves only with indians mainly because they cant speak the English language fluently \nTherefore they associate with the exact people they associated with back home \n\nHow will they adapt to a new country if they hang out with the same people \n\n\nI came to canada with a goal \n\nTo make Canadian friends \nLearn about Canadian culture \nStart a new life \nAnd work my ass off to get my degree \n\n\nMost people move here to make more money \n\nThey sell their land and do so \n\nPlease do not associate hard working indians who adapt and leave their past behind with these people who have come here purely to exploit the system\n\n\nTrust me I know it's hard to hear this but good Indians do exist. In Canada for the past 3 yrs, Completely agree. Canada and west is not what is propagated , it has its positives but India has its negatives but when you look at all things in a wholesome perspective then west nations are only for specific purposes. To live a normal good life nothing beats India. Many people can’t return as they have spent huge sums of money and can’t afford to return back.

I am an Indian from down south, during childhood we used to hear Sikh legend stories like how Sikh warriors faught for India and about their bravery in saving Hindu women's who were abducted by Muslim invaders. And we used to feel proud and happy as kids here whenever we see a man with Pagdi. But now things has changed because of khalistanis people perspective is changing.

Just because you had the privilege and the means to be developed does not give you the right to demean other nations. It's always difficult to see changes around you and your home being in your words being raided by foreign entities. Guess what? The world is filled with different ethnic groups. Hundreds of years ago all your native homes were part of the indigenous people here and they didn't even have time to complain or lament online when the Europeans butchered them and massacred their homelands, claiming the land and setting up as their own. Now you are in a position to call something your home and we all know what all your ancestors did regardless of how good you are right now. The least you can do is not comment such provocatively online against other ethnicities or is this atrocity still there in your blood. It's very simple. You can't even fathom how many Indians there are in this world. To put it into perspective, if you distributed the entire population of India evenly throughout ALL the world's countries, you'd still have around SEVEN MILLION Indian immigrants flooding EACH of those countries, which would completely transform the demographics of most of those countries.

I'm Indian but not born in India for 3 generations and even in my country, the Indian/Paki immigrants are just coming in droves. There's a distinct culture difference. It's like 10 or 15 years ago, the Indian government opened the gates and said OK, you can go now... All Western countries are built on Jesus . Kick Jesus out and what makes these countries great from a cultural perspective leaves quickly.

This video is strongly opinionated. It's a skewed perspective about things. No country is perfect in weather, economy nor free of racism.. not India, not USA and not Norway. I would prefer consuming media that provides a more balanced perspective.

Those countries you mentioned have Azan and use symbolic ways while they literal slaves from India. A country like Canada might not symbolically showcase holiness, but in practice, at least they don't take your passport away and take you hostage. I think action speaks louder than pretension. I think this religion thing has very negative impacts especially as each group both Christians, Muslims, and Jews believe they are the chosen people and the ticket to better life is sold thru their citizenship of hevean program. Perspective really helps.

This is good and honest review. You did not succeed because you did not go with that mindset. In my case, I was working in India as a Class I gazetted officer with Govt of India. When I got PR, I resigned from the job, just because I knew there is struggle in Canada. If I have an option, I would have definitely gone back. My Dad and my father-in-law, both Govt officers at that time, were upset with me for resigning. They were OK with me going to Canada, but did not like the idea of leaving such a good job. I did struggle initially and did survival jobs, like working in factories etc, but I DO NOT regret my decision at all. But again, it is individual's choice what is their goal. Mine was to give my kids world's perspective. Now they are free to go anywhere in the world, including India. My elder one 26 and younger one 22, have visited so many countries without taking a single penny from me. Their world view is very balanced ... they are very empathetic - thanks to Canadian education system - including school level.

I have been living in London for 23 years. I came here when I was in my late twenties but I miss india like anything, specially now for last 4-5 years. I keep thinking that wish we stayed in India. Practically it’s all OK but emotionally now I want to be at home with my extended family and my childhood friends. I know many people here living for so many years, but could never make so kind of close friends. When you are older, you start missing home badly and look back and think if it was right to move this far from home. It’s not the perspective of everyone for sure but of many including many of the people I know. It’s lonely here.

U hv lived for very shoet time. Basically few months. Adjustung in a new country definitely takes time. So its wrong to to give such a feedback.\nI too stay abroad. Even i felt the same whn i shifted to a new country in the first fewmonths. But now i hv liked it. People abroad get used to doing all the work on their own unlike india where we are dependent on house helpers. We learn to manage time. \nChildren are not under pressure in school. Their perspective changes snd in addition to academics they get to venture into many more areas according to their hobbies.

I have a different perspective… as I’ve lived in Canada since I was 2 years old (same with my wife). I’m in my early 40s and my wife is in her late 30s… the other thing is… we are of Sri Lankan decent… Tamils… BTW, I didn’t understand a thing from this interview… I’m going by what is said in the comment section.\nBut, hear me out… before you say… “Oh no… this guy has nothing in common…”\nJust so you know… I was born in Germany in 1980… my wife was born in Sri Lanka in 1985.\nWhat I noticed is all my uncles, grandparents would rave about the fact that if the war in Sri Lanka was over they would go back and live there… well… truth be told it’s been over for a while… and they go visit… but they built a new life here in Canada… and they’ve come accustomed to the luxury lifestyle here. This is highly biased just because they have moved to Canada doesn’t necessarily mean that Australia is any less .Both are DEVELOPED nations to be very precise .Australia has the highest wedge rates and yes as compared it’s hard to get into Australia than Canada because Australia is more into skilled workers it’s twice the size of India with only 2.5 cr of population and they manage their population and jobs at their best which is commendable and the same is with Canada as well .Every country has their own norms and have their pros and cons just because one couple has faced some issue with Australia doesn’t necessarily mean all the people have faced the same thing again it depends on the field you are working at . Covid has changed perspective and situations of every country one more Point Australia has never entered recession in 4 decades that’s a great point to consider . There is nothing wrong if these developed nations having strict barriers to consider people from outside as they want to manage things at their best be it for their own or international people living their which is the best thing any country can do for themselves and most importantly what people need to understand if they are from developing nations is that any developed country will be difficult be it CANDA ,AUSTRALIA etc nothing comes easy so to anyone getting little inclined towards any country I will highly recommend to have an intensive research on this as moving to any developed nations is not easy people have different mindset and perception you can decide what is best for you .?

Very discouraged podcast for people who have worked hard here , this is just a view point from one perspective, think about that how people who are like earning minimum wage in canada are not living a deprived life as more of the population live in india , we all come from a good background in india , but everyone desrves a good life that is not avaible in india , the people from remote villages in india , can stand up to the level of people working in Multinationals in india basically there is huge gap status in india which leads to so many problems overall , very very negative perspective of these ladies . Very disappointing.

I can understand the world is not understanding Sikh perspective till date, but all those so called Hindu(they do know the importance of kirpan for a Sikh)but still finds a way to criticise Sikhs, even though their ancestors and themself are alive today because of Sikhs and the sacrifices made my Sikh gurus. Unthankful people of india(hindus) not all thought.

I would agree to certain extent to what they are saying, every country has their negative side and i feel the this video is too negative for Canada. From a perspective of an Indian, if anyone is coming from India, all this will not bother any Indian because taxes are more in India and there is no healthcare. If the country is expensive, there are decent wages and atleast we can buy houses. But in India a salaried person can never buy a house no matter how far they go from the city center. Canadian experience is a myth, from what i have seen most of the immigrants gets jobs in their field within 3-6 months. Only disadvantage is for the doctors, but rest of the international job experience is accepted in Canada. Having said that, do your own research before coming here.
