Only 18,000 deported out of 5 million illegals? That is a joke. Deportations cost money because the government is way too dumb. You don't need to chase the illegals on our dime instead a few bureaucratic steps will help line up the immigrants across Canada towards airports to flee and here we go: 1- Introduce a 3 months grace period for illegals to depart with their lute, no questions asked 2- Establish a Black-List-Database for all illegals and anyone who makes that list will never get permanent residence no matter how long they stay or even if they apply from abroad down the road 3- Introduce daily fines for overstaying or being here illegal with no ceiling including assets seizure to cover fines 4- Abolish automatic birth citizenship unless both parents are fully legal, else contact your embassy for birth certificate and fetch healthcare, school etc ..on your own dime 5- Revoke driver licenses, bank accounts, temporary SIN numbers of all illegals 6- Mandate the RCMP, Local Police, Sheriffs to check immigration status of anyone who comes in contact with law enforcement including traffic stops 7- Establish new Driver License and other documents for citizens and legal people with specific design and color etc.. 8- Introduce a toll-free number so citizens can report illegals and illegal activities 9- Impose hefty fines and jail time on employers who hire illegals including business closures 10- Limit running to office on all levels to Canadian born citizens 11- No illegal owns, buys or sells any real estate or property Do these and the longest line will be the line leading to airports so our friends CBSA can sit in the ri comfy offices processing illegals at their own pace.

There are always two sides of the story. When British and French went from starting trade with indigeneous to brigning their families and settling towns on their land, they must have had the same feeling. Europeans just didn't stop their they openly slaughtered and put small children in residential schools where many lost lives and are still living with generational trauma. India was doing fine before british came in and lynched the economy to feed industrial revolution in west. I have seen Finnish, croatian, greek, polish, italian, german cultural centers and businesses serving their communities in Canada. Can we also say that they should assimilate in Canadian culture? What is even Canadian culture? It is the "The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms", read that thing and the history if you are not familiar. I do acknowledge that there is massive influx of immigrants in a short span which govt. did to compensate for labor needs but they did not invest in infrastructure and orientation of immigrations. I have worked with Canadians in their 60s vs 20s, there was a huge difference in work ethic. My white manager relied on me and my another friend for closing or opening shift than some local preveliged kids. I am in support of deporting illegals but let's educate who are here legally. Collaborate with communities to voice out your concerns and look at the positive impact immigrants have made in past decades.

As an immigrant who came to this country & fell in love with its culture 40 years ago, it's appalling to see how our beautiful first world country is quickly becoming a gutter. The newcomers these days are the privileged ones. All of us need to speak up, especially those of us immigrants who retain our original accents &/ non-white because our white fellow Canadians are accused of being racist whenever they do (though many could learn to be more eloquent. ie. go back to your country does NOT help)! I see it as my Canadian duty to remind "misbehaving" newcomers the reason they left their country in the first place. ie. You chose Canada for a better life, so why try to change it into the one you left? ie. Help me understand your logic? Why not leave your hate & war at the border; just like normal folks won't bring stinky garbage into their new homes. Life is challenging enough when you uprooted to a new country (especially our unforgiving cold Winter). So, just focus on the positive things in your new country & leave all your miseries behind... ie. Learn to adapt & enjoy your new country. Canada is a great country because of the love & effort of those before you, so now you are the beneficiary. Join the legacy by enhancing this beautiful country & its culture, so you can pass on this century old legacy for later newcomers to enjoy, like you do now. What dignity do you have & what kind of life lessons to your children by bullying your culture & religion into Canada at the expense of other Canadians? This will fracture Canada if everyone does that. Do you want this country to become so fractured & terrible that your descendants have to leave for a better country, like you did? Is that what your religion teaches you? Does it state it's perfectly fine to satisfy all your whims & wishes at the expense of others? Are you striving for Canadians to think badly of your race/culture? Are you being a good ambassador to your race/community/culture/religion? Canadians are so friendly & helpful, if you need help, just ask, please don't demand. Learn the language & it's ok to speak broken/pigeon English with gestures to communicate. No one expects you to be an English scholar; you gain respect for trying. Apply some basic Canadians manners, which goes a long way... Please & Thank You, Smile doesn't cost you anything, besides it's good exercise for your facial muscles. I worked my entire career with the public, I very seldom encounter negative feedback when I do the above. If they get nasty, I tell them that's definitely not the Canadian way to make friends & wish them Good Luck! I also make a point in telling the wealthy ones "Tax Avoidance is legal (I'm more than happy to show them), but Tax Evasion is not! Then reminding them....Canada will be bankrupt eventually if everyone don't pay their fair share of taxes. ie. You may not suffer, but your children/grandchildren will. Worst Case scenario, you didn't get the necessary medical care when you most needed it!!! We should lobby for a mandatory course that all newcomers have to take & PASS a test about Canadian culture & expectations. If they fail, no citizenship for sure! But that would be another hornets nest because our parliament will debate over definition of "Canadian Culture" for decades. Welcome to Canada!😂

These people are saying that they will support and defend these immigrants because this administration is dividing us? You people should be ashamed of yourselves, because if there’s someone really dividing this nation, it’s not the Trump administration; but you guys who choose to go against your own people, in favor of illegal immigrants. Deploy military and all necessary resources to stop ILLEGALS like this from invading the U.S. Legal immigration is perfectly fine - need to find out who we are letting into this country. Block those who wish to do ill will against Americans and only allow those who 100% support our constitution and will assimilate into American culture and contribution to that culture instead of isolating themselves from it.

Yes, we Americans are totally fine with legal immigration, but illegal, nope...Our country is under constant threat of terrorism since we are the sole superpower, we need to know who is coming in, if they are on the terrorist watchlist, commited murder, etc..., that's all we want to know.

I am guessing 5 million Indians will march towards Canada and it is safe to presume that Immigration India formerly known as Immigration Canada is gearing up to accept all these as permanent residents namely the ones with diapers over their heads and I presume Transit companies, municipalities, hospitals, schools, banks, etc.. across Canada are gearing up to hire them right on the spot. All the government has to do is give these pricks a 3 months grace period after which anyone overstays gets added to a Black list which means no permanent residency even if they spend the rest of their lives here and any child born to these pricks does not qualify for automatic citizenship plus fines for every day of overstaying with no maximum limit and denial of acceptance even if they leave at a later time and apply from overseas including family reunions. Conservatives will assemble a legal committee to revoke the status of anyone who switched from visitor, fake student etc... to permanent resident and order them deported. Trump is not joking and he will kick out millions in just 1 year because he has robust means and eager sheriffs to round them like chicken and ship them out.

Here's the cleverly worded Title that means the opposite of what's happening. It combines legal and illegal immigration; combines people who want to BE CANADIAN with those who what to USE CANADA. Divide those groups out and most Canadians don't mind people moving to Canada who speak English (or French) or are wanting to learn, who want to get jobs and BE CANADIANS vs those coming in with NO interest in blending into the culture of Canada, who can't speak English (or French) and have no desire to learn. Been in Canada for approximately 25 years. I can say that the effect that Canada has on a legal immigrant is neither here nor there. Partnership with God, goal clarity, the get-up-and-go, and relentlessness truly work. Some medical equipments may be paid for by either or both the individual/insurance and the government depending on eligibility. \n \nBy and large, there’s cleanliness of common spaces. There’s also safety and relative peace. At least wherever I have lived, I can’t tell you how many times I forgot to lock my door with impunity. \n \nThere’s a lot more stressful work here in my opinion, but like you said Lynn, systems work a lot more efficiently and effectively. \n \nThe elephant in the room is the extra hard work that those living abroad must put in to fulfil expectations back home. As a legal immigrant it’s kind of sad for me to see that people think they can just walk into the states. Our family had to jump through hoops to get in. I understand the situation in Venezuela because I live in Mexico now, but the fact of the matter is, many of them can stay in other countries and do just fine. I know many venenzuelans in Mexico who are making a living. Mexico is very generous with humanitarian visas, even for Haitians. They are prioritized more than any other groups. But they don’t want to stay in Latin America…. The US is some kind of fantasy for them. Why don’t they rush their capital this way?

This is just a nonsense term created by mainly those indians who immigrated through express entry.\n\nFor example, A Server in fine dine restaurant make anywhere from $3000-4000 including tips which is i believe equivalent to what you are making through your full time job and apart from that server will be physically much more active than you because server doesn't have to sit on chair whole day.

Justin Trudeau seriously caused a huge immigration issue of Mexicans and south americans coming to our country. Like dude I was born in Canada and my parents are immigrints who came legally so I can tell you my side. A non biast side. Since I live and work here I can tell u most people of colour r welcoming, however most people who are here and have trouble finding work dont wanna see more people come and make it harder like texas and arizonia. They dont wanna have a min standard and have a reguee take their job at a quarter of what ur asking. What Justin Trudeau did was really stupid IMO. U opened the door to millions of reguees. Usa and Canada aren´t the best countries of the world but a lot inmigrant people think in the economic progress, but Brazil is the best country in the world or another, the USA officers cancel my Visa legal, I tried to visit Denver for 15 days, I tried to get in by Fort Lauderdale, and immigration officers, stop me, I was treated like a criminal, I am a systems engineer, a university professor and I was in a cell one night, the first time this happened to me and there is no justification when my passport and visa were fine.

In Canada were intelligent enough to know that this is happening because the U S is imprisoning children, deporting Americans after 20 years thanks to Trump. That's fine we took in 50,000 Syrians legally and 21,000 illegal. U S no longer safe immigration country

If he just went through the proper channels in the US he wouldn’t be having these issues in Canada. Now he’s an undocumented and illegal worker in Canada and is taking advantage of the system. Canada does have stricter immigration laws than the States. I’m all fine with Canada accepting immigrants as long as they do it the legal way and go through the due process that the government has put in place. But this guy has pretty much screwed himself over and is taking advantage of the Canadian citizens I feel
