Liberals are taking our history and religion away from us and pushing immigrants and their values for votes. So the liberals can control us

I'm a proud Canadian Immigrant of Indian origin. I came here to do specialized studies in Game Development. I took my time, and studied 6 years as an international student, paying 3x the tuition, sank $200,000 of hard earned money into the Canadian Education system — Not as a fast track gimmick to immigrate, but so I could achieve my dream as a Game Developer. This money was family income, earned on 1/4th the salary, taking 4x longer to save. I was a great privileged to me. Today 15 years later, no one would ever think I'm from India. I sound Canadian, I behave Canadian, I have Canadian values, and I am Canadian. I came here because I loved Canada. I would watch hours upon hours of indigenous history, and on my Citizenship day, I watched Juno Beach to celebrate. However I must say this... I suffered through s*icidal depression here for 8 years, because I had far less leverage here than in a developing country, and it's really telling what sort of situation we're all in... Rent caps in Canada were removed... The housing market was open to foreign investors / and real estate monopolies with a 20% year-on-year rise... Rents went from 1000$ to 2100$ MINIMUM for a 1 bedroom through Trudeau's term and the govt said "It's not a federal responsibility"... Auto insurance is like 2.5-3.5k a year in Ontario and if you get a dent, you pay a deductable... I was quoted 8500$ for two wisdom teeth surgeries while it costed me 260$ abroad... During Covid - property owners, banks, and grocery stores exploited our misery and made record profits!... The govt stopped filtering through it's immigrants with "interviews", and it's operating like a scam — "Bring all your foreign money, convert it to CAD, and keep our GDP stable.. while we neither have the infrastructure, nor the job market to support these numbers". I think some accountability is due... these issues are "symptoms", not the problem — The problem is our Liberal govt / policies, and our wonderful voting body who voted Liberal term after term after term while complaining. Why does this govt safeguard extremism, foreign politics, foreign separatism? Khalistanis are as much of a threat / nuance to India than it is to Canada, but in Canada they actually have a unrestricted platform. Instead of resenting immigrants, we need to start resenting how mismanaged Canada is by our govt, and hold our voting body accountable. We had a chance to vote differently, but once again a repackaged and rebranded Liberal term. Because my ethnicity is Indian, I've become an object of collective resentment / hatred, and I don't think that's fair.. Please direct it at your vote, and govt level policies. Why should I (and other's like me) be crucified with the sins of other immigrants? It's like hating all your neighbors in a burning building, when the management has been lighting the fire.

While I don’t agree with Trumps tariffs, I understand why he’s doing them. As a Canadian citizen, please don’t glamorize Trudeau- hes a spoiled rotten brat of a former PM. Nothing more. You’ve not lived the last 10 years under his totalitarian govt, suspending the rights of Canadians at will, insulting and dividing our country at will, taking away legal firearms owners rights rights at will (people who had to pass safety courses and are more vetted than RCMP officers). \n\nHe’s proven to be more fake than a $3 dollar bill. All the liberal & ndp’s in Canada are. He has the worst record in Canadian history as a PM, including the highest taxes, home prices, massive, unsustainable immigration, and the worst healthcare crisis in Canada’s socialized medical system since its inception. \n\nHe’s accumulated more debt than all previous PM’s COMBINED (as per the PBO). \n\nThen he comes on here after he resigned on Jan.6th - yes after cratering Canada’s economy methodically for the last 10 yrs - to inflame the POTUS and who will pay for that? Canadian and American working class citizens. \n\nIf you think Canada is so great, you’re either a wealthy boomer, or have no clue what it’s like to work for a living in this modern economy in Canada. People are required to work 2-3 jobs just to afford the basics. Wages have been stagnant since the 90’s here, with cost of living rising 600-700% in the last 10 yrs.

As a Canadian a citizen ,I am more than angry ,I am ashamed and embarrassed at the Trudeau government ! All the liberals needed to do is fix borders and take care of the devastation safe supply sites which Canadian citizens have been calling for ,for years !! Disgusting ! United States have been friends and neighbours throughout most of Canadian history and this selfish greedy corrupted PM just destroyed all of it for nothing but to impose himself on the seat since we are going to war ! Detestable! Trudeau is the threat to Canadians not Trump ! ??????❤️and remember this clown Trudeau is suppose to be stepping down in the coming days ! Think about how selfish and careless these liberals are !

Liberalism has permiated the world, and it is obvious the radicals like you, who should stick to covering your own country, are still having a hissy fit. Good! The days of the United States caving in to your BS is over. You better prepare, cuz there is a new sheriff in town here, and he is most definitely not playing around. Thrump brandishes the threat of force and puffs out his chest\n\nAfter having lunch with Sarah Netanyahu in his private club in Florida yesterday, December 4, 2024, Thrump, the next president of the world's leading power, made a thunderous statement; threatening those who hold Israeli hostages and their sponsors with terrible reprisals. We know him well enough and we predict a chaotic and catastrophic mandate worse than the first. But this overly muscular statement helps us predict what the foreign policy of this contested and protesting president will be. He who - during his election campaign - made it known that he is against the war in Ukraine and against war in general, we do not understand how he is going to free the Jewish hostages held by Hamas without resorting to the exaggerated deployment of force? But the most serious thing is that during his next term, he would very much risk leading humanity adrift. How can he not learn the lesson of the student movement that shook America at the very beginning of 2024? And how will he dare to swim against the current? Knowing that American youth have clearly become aware of the Palestinian tragedy, firmly opposing their country's strange foreign policy and vigorously condemning the Zionist takeover of their state affairs? Thrump would do well to take into account the cardinal changes that have taken place in the unanimous awareness of international public opinion; otherwise he will be grilled alive. It is not a single man - even if it means being the President of the UNITED STATES of America - who will stop the inexorable march of history. The Palestinian cause obeys this logic of evolution and what has been imposed by force of arms for 75 years has reached its fateful deadline. Today's world is no longer the world of yesterday and Thrump has an interest in drawing the necessary conclusions. The war of liberation will continue with or without him. Israel will be forced to fear international law and Netanyahu will have to serve his sentence emanating from the International Court of Justice incessantly. This is the common sense of history and this is what will drastically comfort international public opinion.

Thankfully the Liberal Government is forcing Landlords to report their Tenants rental history to the Credit Bureaus. Also, the Bad Tenants List on Facebook is useful. Might be time for property owners in Ontario to lobby the Province to take on the Alberta model; after 14 days of non-payment the Sheriff is sent to remove your trash.

Short sighted liberal nonsense in action. If you think its bad now, do you realize 20x this is en-route? This is like 5% of the amount of people coming over the next decade, and nothing will stop it now. Think NYC is broke now? Think NYC is crime-ridden now?\nThis is the honeymoon period. We haven't even started to see the problems. Wait until a demographic of migrants outnumbers an existing, established population. And displaces them. That's how these things work. How do you get a Chinatown? How did Compton get so black? That's going to happen, but now with Muslims, or Indians, or whoevers. Hope whichever group takes a borough shares our values... oh wait, we already know...\nHey Jews--we are 2 decades out from history rhyming. Are you ready? Hey Mexicans immigrants, you ready to hold the bag for all the spicy migrants from Asian nations that end in stan? How about are you ready to fight them for your USA dreams? Because there's never been enough to go around--ask the white trash in the trailer parks across the continent. Ask native americans.

I was born and raised in Canada and in my 60’s now. I can’t afford to live here anymore, healthcare has declined, personal safety, fuel costs, insurance etc. most of all our politics are a mess on all three major parties. The Liberals are a royal mess and inflation went through the roof. They’re just running around like the 3 blind mice making fools of themselves. The Conservatives are involving themselves in a right wing romance with fascist trumpianism and think poutine is an ok guy. The hate speech is unreal. We used to be a real chill country. I have young 20 somethings telling me they think Communism is a great idea and they would rather fight for poutine if a war breaks out. Well it’s their future not mine. The AI, bots and trolls on the internet are telling them what they want to hear in order to stir up hate and entitlement. The NDP (New Democratic Party) is neither here nor there, they’re kind of always the minority and swing both the other two parties to divide the vote and gain some form of temporary power. \nI’d like to see a politician that has the balls to stand up to the dictators of this world that shit disturb in every continent because they are such little insecure bastards that they think they can conquer it. I’ve got news for them. Every single dictator in history has failed… miserably and often brutally. We need the kind of leadership in our Country that can produce good governance. Our GDP is just under $60K. The dictators out there are rubbing their greedy little hands, for if there is ever a 3rd world war, Canada will be the prize. We are loaded with resources. Land mass, water, minerals, oil and gas, technology, geographic strategic stronghold etc. Don’t let it slip into the hands of fascists, communists, dictators or totalitarians they always make it worse so that it takes a lifetime to recover. I’ve spent 40 yrs in the workforce, and listened to countless people from every continent who told me the truth about why they left their homeland. People who survived WW2, the Korean War, Vietnam War, communist China, expansionism of the USSR, the caste system and political persecution in India and Bangladesh. Political unrest in Argentina and Chile. I have personally witnessed systemic racism in the USA and Canada. \nI don’t have anything tying me down to stay here so I will be moving on. I think I’ll just become a nomad tourist for a while.

Ban all immigration for the next 25 years. Unfortunately (not surprisingly!) Canada has once again screwed over its citizens in favor of votes. The biggest problem is obviously housing, and while Canada has never in its history built more than 200K homes in a year, last year in 2024 Canada let in over 1M immigrants which equals 8 years of housing construction, while the Liberals have an immigration quota for 500K immigrants per year. Canada has to ban all immigration including International students for the next 2 decades. It will take Canada 20 years to build enough housing to increase inventory and lower the actual cost of housing, essentially bursting the largest housing bubble the world has ever seen.
