I consider myself International( 3ed generation Canadian) because I spent half of my life working in many countries. Canada was always my home until about 15 years ago when I started feeling that thigs are changing in the wrong directions not only the immigration influx but total anti-Christian war, morality, family values, sexualization of children etc etc. its all gone to HELL !! This is not only about money and cheap labor, rather the NEW WORLD ORDER that the Western ELITES have implementing for decades. The same thing that's happening to us Canadians, it's happening to Americans, Britian, France, Spain, Italy, Germany and most of our G20 group because they all agreed to this globalization, and neoliberal policies. Now that my children graduated, I have moved them to an east European country where all my values and beliefs are still intact. I will be leaving Canada soon with a very sad heart, in my mind I will keep the Canada that I once loved. THIS IS ALL PLANNED it's not a mistake !! The countries in EU that don't allow for mass immigrants are being targeted, sanctioned, fined in the billions and are forcing to oust the governments ( Hungary, Slovakia, Poland etc )!! Government wants racial hearted and that's why it allows things that aggravates the Canadians...it's all about control and fear, they want us te fear each other !! If Canadian government wanted a high birth rate than it should have given the money that they spend on new immigrants to Canadian mothers in order to stay home and have more kids. Many countries have birth incentives for more than 2 children, countries that are nowhere economically on the Canadian level. Simply as I said, this is about globalization !!!

No more buying US. No visits/ holiday's. No stocks. Cant help but feel this is what trump and musk want, i.e. to have stockmarket get weaker so they can buy more. \nLook over there...(aligning with Putin dictator, Bullying zelensky, illegal firing staff, tariffs, accusing zelensky of propaganda as US fox news is known for it) whilst they shake markets up, risking world war 3 for multiple reasons. With the Supreme court in his pocket, the US is following Putins lead and becoming a dictatorship. The law is far to pliable there at this point. \nAll those voted Trump in and think he is making America great, you are DILLUSIONAL!\nHe will take you and your families down.. the young get sent to war, the old asshole sociopathic men sit by the fire protected. It took a very long time for Germany to escape the reputation after Hitler. You want the rest of the world to disdain and never trust your country and people?! Germany recovered, but it was painful healing. \nHow bout Trump sleeps out on the streets, deals with fentanyl addicted unsupported US citizens and veterans or get sent to war? Or what about his children or grandchildren?! Would he care if they were called to stand for the country if WW3 broke out, because of him? Trump truly is making a statement... he gives 2Fs about the people, totally self serving. For the capitalist bullies who love money at any cost..even blood money... non of your investments will make a difference if you have no heating, water, food, jobs, lost family members through war and crap health system... not an ounce of love, respect, compassion, respect, leadership in the US government. The World can be better. Choose better... for all that is sacred... stop the madness!!\n\nWell done Canada & Trudeau... love and support you beautiful people. ❤\nLove and Strength to the people of Ukraine around the globe. I pray for this nightmare to end in your favour. For your loved ones to be safe and protected and that you can be reunited once more. Love and praise for Zelensky...you are a phenomenal leader. May you receive the support needed to end the war.❤\nHang tight US citizens who wish a very different US .❤

Trump supports a dictator who lets children and babies die and wants to wipe out an entire country. He is opposing all of his allies for Putin. Putin will get money again. He is sacrificing parts of Ukraine and Putin has no need to fear punishment. Many countries were allies of the USA. We fully supported the USA after September 11th. People in the EU also died for you! I liked the USA very much, I spent my vacation there but I will not do that anymore, I will no longer buy American products. A dictator is being supported here and all our help to Ukraine for the past 3. years will be wasted! Trump will also restructure the USA so that he is the only king and no one controls him anymore. He want rich russians oligarch in the USA...That is how I think and feel... he s like Biff in back to the future when he owns all...From Germany! Thank You Canada❤.. \n\nI send love and recognition to every US American who did not vote for this president and who is for democracy and human rights. ❤️

We Indian are almost legal immigrants to Germany. All Indian state love community adoption, we are big inside our culture and different language 28 spoken in India . \n1. We are more adoptable and love to mix another culture. So no doubt of German ?? government policy towards India ?? \n2. We love technology, most Indian immigrants from India who live in Germany are mostly tech guys\n3. A handshaking promise should go,, language barrier should be minimized,, you teach us German language please don’t deny us first instance on language barrier. I know 80% German know English since you are developed from childhood that can be very respectful and interesting. Language learning come with social relationship\n4. Positive things come with positive attitude

I'm a Finn living in Paraguay. My husband and I lived in Germany for eleven years until we moved to Paraguay two years ago. Life is good even though financially it's different than in Germany. However, we have built a house, we have some land, two dogs, a cat, and some chickens. We have a car and food. It's more than I ever dreamed of. We strongly feel that we have a future and it's lovely.\n\nOne thing one must keep in mind: part of your first home country and your past will always be in you. That creates a process of mourning you have to go through. And the longer you are away the greater becomes the difference between you and your own country because you both are changing but to the different directions. You realize that there's no going back. This is what I'm processing at the moment. I know it takes its time and one day it will be completely fine.\nI wish you all the best for your life.

Love to hear a couple of foreigners who haven't bothered to do their homework on the 14th amendment. Germany would still be a pile of ashes if the U.S. hadn't rebuilt it into a little buffer puppet against the Soviets.

My husband and I are engineers from the US and Mexico and have lived in Germany for 15 years. Both speak fluent German and have raised three kids here. Yes, many people are racist. But if you learn the language well it’s not that hard to integrate and then things get much better. Germans can be the best friends you’ve ever had, much better than superficial Americans, but it can be hard to break through the shell. We have always loved it here. But to be honest with the steadily declining economy, massive scarcity in housing, and no salary increases in years, we are considering leaving as well. The outlook isn’t good for the Automotive industry and we could make double or triple the salary elsewhere. It would be very difficult to pull up our roots now gs better get better quick or we won’t stay much longer.

Great video. I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA in the 50s and 60s. Life was absolutely idyllic. I loved being young in America. Now, I cannot recognize my home town. I cannot recognize my country. I cannot recognize our political system. It's like the worst of humanity has taken over the country. But, it's everywhere - Germany, Sweden, the UK, the USA, Canada - they're gone. WTF happened?

I've lived here 6 years and can't wait to leave. Salaries are just enough to get by. I work full-time as an analyst and am looking for a minijob just to save money, which I already live quite modestly. It's easy to come across nasty unfriendly people, neighbors, service people, people in government agencies. I hate people staring in the most unfriendly manner or givng attitude for no reason other than they are nasty people. Don't get me wrong, there are nice people as well, but the bad experiences outweigh the good. Beauracracy is overbearing, personalities are underwhelming, the food scene is underwhelming, learning German is a big burden when you work a full-time job (and now I need a minijob too??). The country seems like it wants to diminish the human spirit and ambition. I definitely regret moving here. Many housing companies are over charging rent. I found out the company, Deutschewohnen, who owns my apartment was overcharging me by nearly double!! I had to go through a year long court procession to get them to lower it to the legal price which I won. And now they sent me a letter last month saying they are raising my rent, which is illegal and I have to go through ANOTHER court battle with them. Of course it is exhausting to try and find another apartment. Some people search up to a year. What a joke. And not to mention the dating scene. I've been single the entire 6 years and I'm quite an outgoing, friendly, loveable person. Dating Germans comes with own weird experiences and I refuse to give them a chance anymore, for my own mental health. If you're POC, it's not uncommon to come across strange sexualizations and general lack of understanding other's cultures. A couple years ago I was attacked by 8 men while walking home at night. I ended up in the hosopital and there was an investigation opened. The police asked me why they attacted me, which I didn't know since it was unprovoked. They just followed me for awhile, surrounded me and started beating me. The police said it was probably because I'm Asian. Meanwhile, I'm not even Asian!!! I'm Latino. ??♂This is the type of ignorance POC have to deal with in Germany. Also, I only have 1 German friend and all my other friends are immigrants (which I love) but this poses it's own frustrations because many people move here, then move away after a few years when they learn they can have a more fulfilling life elsewhere. So keeping long term day-to-day friends can be a challenge. The entire system is exhausting and there's not enough balance to bring joy to my life to want to stay. When I lived in NYC, an African American aquaintance had just moved there after living in Berlin for 8 years. She warned me not to move here because I will never feel I belong. I didn't listen. That was a big mistake. Germans can have Germany. I'll find my joy elsewhere. End of rant. haha

Honestly reading these comments & watching this video, I am proud to be from the USA... We truly give everyone a chance, everyone is welcome. All languages, colors, religions... it's funny how the media tries to make the U.S. sound racist. It is the most diverse in the world. Europeans love to act like they are supreme.... but in the end they are mostly all Nationalist & racist in their own ways. When I went to school in Germany, it was always funny how people had to make you remember you were American... in the U.S. we don't care.... we celebrate & are interested in your differences.

?this is so accurate. I was in Australia 2011, as a Backpacker ..?it was amazing. The beaches, the landscapes, the people. But, we where surrounded by other tourists. They have 6 million backpackers each year! When I was back in Germany I met an aussie couple and they offered me a job near the great barrier reef. \nI didn't took it, but I would love to visit the country again with my kids this time. Or maybe better New Zealand ?

Great video. Thank you! My experience was a bit quite different when I arrived there in 2007. I did have support in bureaucracy and German skills. My university gave me almost free courses and scholarship payed full time courses with living cost included. I did have the luck to meet good Germans friends that helped me and made me feel included. After some years, when I wanted to pursuit a natural career path is when I found difficulties. Being promoted more than senior engineer, a manager positions or a Professor position were out of my reach because of me being different. My earnings aspirations soon reached a limit and then decided to leave to California. I have full respect and love for Germany, but there I was not able to be what I wanted to be. Now I have achieved more abroad. However, I still miss some things from my life there.

Germany needs some types of skilled workers (doctors, nurses, IT engineers, etc.), but they want people who can think like a German for other office jobs. \n\nI am not a huge fan of German culture after living for 13 years but my home country Japan isn´t better for foreigners on many aspects..\n\nGerman taxation system and company cultures in the IT industry are not competitive with the US or Canada. Within Europe, I envy the digitalization of the governmental sectors in the Netherlands.\n\nThe skilled workers who may enjoy living here are the people who love the German culture. My understanding is that that is a minority, most of the foreigners I know in this country are not thrilled with the ´fun´ factor.\n\nThe people from politically unstable countries appreciate the German democracy and rules of law, which I agree with except for the accompanying bureaucracy. And the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is whole lot more scary than the German counterpart, which should not be any problem for legal skilled workers, though.

Germany has love for immigrants, asylum seekers and cheap labour not skilled labour that's why 70% of skilled workers have left Germany for USA.

Thanks so much for this video! I admire the hard working and awesome culture of most people I have met who have come to Canada from India! We definitely needed help in filling in the deficit of employees that are needed in Canada! It is a shame that ALL political parties did not solve the housing issue which we knew was going to be a problem, many decades ago, even well before the Harper government! This is not rocket surgery! LOL\nIn Northern Ontario we have a LOT of Indian immigrants. All the ones I have met are very well educated even though they are working in the service industries! I know several Indian Canadians who are Doctors, Teachers and Engineers! Almost all of my experiences have been positive! Of course it is human nature to always highlight issues, for example: I caught one group of people throwing garbage in a parking lot, and immediately notified them that they had dropped something, and even followed them with the garbage. One of the group stated, it was just trash. I told him there was a garbage can right over there, and I just KNEW that they did not want to throw it just lose on the ground, and wanted to help keep our town clean. They said sorry and politely picked it up and placed it in the garbage can. Hopefully lesson learned! I politely and respectfully spoke out, to a good resolution.\nMy parents were immigrants from war-torn Germany. I know ALL about prejudice for new immigrants. Our parents being German-Canadian at a time right after WW2, where MOST Canadians had an Uncle, a Father, a Grandfather or someone they knew who had fought and some died because of Germans! Although I am not a person of colour, so I personally do not know that side of prejudice. We all need to treat each person as an individual and try not to paint all peoples with one brush! Love is the only way forward! \nThanks again for your well worded video!\nPeace n Love!

I came to germany 5 years ago.\nLearned the language, did an Ausbildung and BELIEVE ME, tried my best to become a part of the society but the society is shut closed COMPLETELY.\nPeople are very unwelcoming and they all stick to their 'own group of people' - not only germans but also immigrants from the middle east.\nThey love catergorizing social status and are deeply condecsending.\nIn addition, it feels like germans don't want people who are eager to climb the ladder and eventually become a higher level employee but they rather want someone who would just stay in the entry level position who would do all the unnecessary repeatitive work that no one wants to do.\nBecause of this tendency, I see a lot of managing level employees who are disgustingly incompetent but are only there just because of what they are (if you know what I mean).\n\nBut again, these are just based on my experience and maybe it's just how it is only in the city I'm living in :).

Germany is no recommendable for foreigners, at all. They wou;d have to embrace english accepted for international workers, relax the burocracy and solve the shortage of housing. Yes it is a rich country but the system is not made to wellcome foreigners. .German language is ridicoulously full of conservative rules that not even the germans dominate but you are imposed to speak it. Go to an english speaking country or to the Netherlands, Luxembourg,,,,learning the German language properly takes around 5 years ..for one word you know in german you need to learn many more because german language loves precision and according to the situation the word or expression will change appart from unexplicable gramatical rules, ...too long time to learn , if you are highly qualified , you have no time for this full time german language learning. you can learn a whole new career with that time. Friendliness, mmm also not so. they have different values, less emotional, no emphatetic. Best go to a more profi counry welcoming internationals and key tip: they accept english for work even if you do not speak the local language. Real international countries tolerate that you start working in english, while the local language you learn it with the time and only If you choose to stay long term. they do not asume that you will go for staying long term, they know you have the choice to leave. But Germany request you invested already such a long time learning German, and you still do not know if you wish to stay in Germany forever....

This is what I like to hear. I’ve gotten back to learning German and is considering moving there but I have to make sure I even qualify.\n\nAdded: these comments are making me feel bad but I’m still motivated to at least visit Germany. Not everyone is the same. I may actually love it there but I am being considerate of the comments.
