As a non Indian Canadian born and raised I’m disgusted where my country has gone. Our population has doubled since 1980, not by birth rate, but because of the amount of Indians that have immigrated here. Unfortunately, they have no desire to assimilate, they bring their own culture and they stay in their own communities. The government offers tax breaks for businesses, hiring foreign workers over people born in Canada, leaving the youth without any part-time work. On top of that some of my favourite restaurants growing up, I haven’t eaten at in years because it’s been taken over by Indians, the quality of food goes down, you end up getting food poisoning and if you aren’t in their community, you get worse service and get charged more than what an Indian would pay at the same restaurant. They don’t understand cleanliness or sanitation, they leave their garbage and waste on the street and dump it in random locations, and quite frankly have no respect for anyone who lives here or the country that has taken them in. I feel like a minority of my own country and I truly don’t understand what being Canadian means anymore because I’m pretty sure being Canadian is a thing of the past. Most of my friends have moved further north, to Vancouver island or moved out to the prairies to get away from them and higher prices as everything gets more expensive, thanks to our government, caring more about immigrants than citizens. It is law of the land, like it or not just accept it. I did my masters from United States, and later worked there for a decade. As person born in India, I can never get green card of the United States. After leaving to India for good, I realized I cannot adjust in India, US would never accept me, so I came to Canada. But like every person who moved from US to Canada, not a day goes without missing the US. People in Canada are amazed why I left US and came to Canada. People from other country of birth can easily get US green card and eventually citizenship, but I can never get one. So should I start hating the US? Nope. I am grateful to US for everything. I came from a poor family in India, with less than 8000 USD in my parents saving. I studied in US free of cost sponsored by research grants, did top notch academic research, and worked on top notch industrial research. Due to which I had no issues finding job in India, and directly got interview and job offer in Canada, Sweden and UK while sitting at my home in India.\nUS would always be my home, does not matter I have a green card or not. I would always remember US and miss it, in good memory.

I am West Indian, descendent of India indentured workers. I love my country of birth, Canada where I have lived since 3, and I have much love and pride in my Indian roots. That being said, I have come to feel embarrassed of being taken for East Indian by other Canadian people. I moved to small city outside of Toronto in 2004. I loved it here! People were so welcoming, kind, friendly. I felt no prejudicial treatment from any of my neighbours. \nFast forward, my little city is now overrun with new Indian immigrants. I can’t tell if I am in the heart of Toronto or Brampton or my city of Oshawa. \nThe Indian people I encounter in the grocery store are pushy, have no Canadian manners, speak their language loudly, come to the stores with their entire family which fills up the isles and cause long lines. All the sale items are sold out by the time you get there because Indians are filling their cart with as much as they can purchase of any of the on sale merchandise. This never happened before. \nI am also saddened by being assaulted when an Indian person passes by and wave of body order sickens me. I don’t understand what the cause of that is. Not bathing regularly or not using deodorant. But I notice this everywhere I come in contact with Indians, men and women, young and old. \nI feel like I will be mistaken for East Indian myself which I have been when I went to the hospital. I was treated like I couldn’t speak English lol\nThe worst is the Muslims, they are the rudest the way they fill every available free space, make women feel uncomfortable and are just intrusive and unable to incorporate themselves with other Canadians. They also have a superiority attitude. \nThis is a plan honest list of observations. I hope they learn to integrate with Canadian culture, improve their language skills and learn proper hygiene. Major issue which Modi has been in complete denial on his razmataz rallies in his Western tours when meeting diaspora. All migrants especially Indians use education (student) route to permanent citizenship (migration). Indians are 3rd largest in the world on the Migration Index no wars but POVERTY. Last week Mr. Murthy of Infosys warned Indians on the complete lack of Birth Control responsible for landmass depletion, clean water/sanitation. 1st country for remittances, most populous country. Lowest on all social Indices, new slaves status. Wake up introduce strict laws. India's image in the world at an all time low.

Yesterday Chinese, today Indians. However, I am not sure if Indian birth rate in India will decrease someday like Chinese birth rate in China. I don't mind Indian immigrants moving to Canada. All that concerns me is that the Indians keep reproducing that mess up their own country and move to a new country to continue contributing to the overpopulation issue.

In Canada you can make $300,000 in a couple of months. It depends what you’re into what you can do if it’s legal or not legal but legally you can make $300,000 $400,000 up to 1 million a year if you know what you’re doing and you have the opportunity to do it as a bottom of the food chain your rent is $1000 for one bedroom that you will be sharing with with complete strangers you have winter that it’s six months long it’s like you’re living in North India in the Himalayas mountains and then you have Ray schism all different type of race schism from all over Europe that came to this North American country. They don’t want you to take their job. and take their sister or their wives or anything like that. These people in this country cannot reproduce they’re not reproducing or doing anything they’re into the pronouns they’re not into normal normality otherwise than that the summers are great. They are some decent white people here we have lotta Caribbean people lotta Russians here it’s up to you to come and endure this country. It’s brutal winters there’s a chinook and the Chinook gives you headaches throughout the winter. It’s something different that if you’re from a tropical country. There are no fresh fruits in the winter time, here and fresh. Anything everything is a couple weeks old. The women over here are horrible. The longer you stay in this country, the lighter, your skin complexion becomes. If you were dark skin, you became light skin if you came here light skin you now you became white skin The food at the grocery stores are all GMO’s all these fat fast food joints G emoji they have chemicals in them that cause birth defects every single thing illegal in the real world. This place is a commercialize worksite.

Cannot understand why Indians do not see the bigger picture. If millions of Indians seek a better life in the West only surely fills up the landmass of that country. Indians just think it is not worth addressing the issue of rampant population growth. India ranks top in the number of migrants worldwide. This story is misleading and the Title is completely false. Canada's Student population doubled in 3 years and Canada went from 7th highest Foreign Student Population per capita to 2nd, so the Canadian Student housing situation worsened quickly. So the Trudeau Government put a cap on Foreign Students and offered low interest loans to Universities to immediately expand Student housing. Canada has seen NO drop in citizen applications and still refuses far more applications then it approves. So with even Canada's low birth rate still combined with immigration Canada's population is the fastest growing per capita of Western Democracies at an annual population increase of over 1 million people a year. So the Headline about Citizen applications which had nothing to do with the story of Foreign Students.\nAlso I want to add they stated that the gentleman had set up a business to bring home students from Canada when in the interview he stated that Canada was only one of the Countries but stating it the true way is less dramatic and doesnt fit their Narrative. Also the story was clipped from India a Nation that has been ata diplomatic war with Canada for a year after their Government Murdered a Canadian Landed Citizen. So their Governement put out a warning for their Citizens going their amongst other revenge moves. So the story has so many outside bias to be sensible.

I came to Canada in Jan 2022 on permanent residence from India and returned back to India in November 2023. My reason to move to Canada was, I moved back to India for personal reasons after living in USA for 10 years (studies + work). I moved to Canada because I missed US, and thought it was difficult to adjust in India, and US would never give me green card anyway (due to country of birth quota). I moved to Canada with a job in hand, but opportunties are limited here. On top salaries are low, even compared to India. Healthcare is a disaster. In US, I could see a doctor next day. I had 4 surgeries done in US, multiple CT scans and countless X-rays. Never had an issue. In Canada, despite paying high taxes I fear of not able to get medical treatment and wait for months to see specialist. \nSlowly I realized, this country is not USA anyway and was naive of me to think of it as a viable replacement. I ended up returning back to India, as in end I realized India has issues, Canada has different ones but in India at least I can earn well (70 to 80K CAD while 2 BHK costs me like 500 CAD per month, 300,000 CAD for luxurious 3.5 BHK) and I can be close to my parents, the reason for which I left US. I will always miss US though. As long as I have family in India, I will never think of settling anywhere else. But the only country I would ever consider in future is USA.

What are people looking for in USA since there's also poverty and racism too, i thought India was economically better and able to sustain itself with its high population, i would understand asylum seekers who comes from war torn countries or poverty stricken countries, hence i don't know their circumstances. I'm pleased to be in my birth country with its challenges but hey we are at peace and just won rugby world cup. ❤??

2 months is a really short time to give judgement on a country. You have to give yourself a year to adjust. You are lucky you went when your kids are big and can do everything on their own. We migrated to Australia 20 years back when our son was 1 my younger two kids were born here it was a struggle then but it was all worth it. I love India it is the place of my birth but Australia is home. I am sure many Indians living abroad feel the same.

My company just initiated my i140 application which will take around 3 yrs to complete then the wait for GC will start for 15yrs (for Indians only). During this time we are at the employers mercy. We do get high salaries. But we are in a perpetually limbo. Its hard to find a spouse, start a family or invest in property as your future here is uncertain. \n\nThe H1B lottery system was introduced to keep the selection fair, as there are limited number of applications accepted each year. Hence it is a gamble for immigrants wanting to come here to study and work. The chance of getting H1B is almost 50/50. H1B visa is a temporary work visa, it was designed to be applicable for 3-4yrs until one gets the GC. But because of GC country backlog folks are on it for 15-20yrs.\n\nThe Greencard country limits were introduced in 2009 as the US government felt they needed diversity in the country. They were scared that US will be filled with Indians and Chinese immigrants. Hence the country caps on each country on GC. So if one is born in Nepal, Sri Lanka or Pakistan they get their GC within 1-3 yrs. Where as Indians need to wait 15-20yrs. But here is the wired part, they only consider the country of birth NOT citizenship. Ex: My friend was born in Oman and was raised in India, he is Indian and has Indian citizenship. He got his GC in 1 yr. \n\nThese H1B policies are not a priority to the US government as H1B folks do not have voting rights. They do not have any incentives to change the legacy policies. America's system is far better. It prevents one country from overrunning yours via immigration. You could be dropped into Canada and think that you are in India or China. Limiting immigration and increasing birth rates is the only way to maintain your countries identity and not be invaded. US happens to have good birth rates, so no need to allow more immigrants.

What jobs is this guy talking about? Do a job search. There is no manufacturing in Canada. If any are kept in North America will go to Mexico. White people blame China where people are willing to work hard for less and no union formation or complaints. He does not mention the fees visa students pay which is 5 times Canadian Students pay at university or college is used to offset Canadian students so they pay low tuition fees. Knowing the real reason Canada needs visa and immigrants and how much money it generates just by the application fee, immigrants and visa students don't owe Canada nothing and other countries should adopt the same strategy to attract immigrants. Unfortunately the majority of Canadians are English, Scottish, and Irish which are racist blaming Canada's economic and job problems on immigrants. The majority think they are entitled and ignorant and arrogant. That's why they are called mange cake and Malakas and other names by immigrant groups. That is why you have China towns, Greek towns, Italian, Portuguese, INDIA , Jewish and other ethnic towns and ethnic communities don't visit small white towns or move to other provinces.
