It's not race that makes countries great or bad. Since there is just one human race. Its the culture that makes places great. Culture or shared ideas among the populace. Specially ideas of being open minded, living and letting live, freedom, being tolerant etc. These are the best ideas or culture that if held long enough by the majority of the people will turn that place into a great civilization indeed. Every great civilization of history was built through this culture in history. persian empire, macedonian empire, roman empire, british empire and now the united states etc... were/are all very diverse and very tolerant of indians and their ideas... cultural exchange of ideas through indians and receiving diverse viewpoints which helped them become great. However great empires, great places and civilizations never last. They fall down. They fall down once the culture changes. which is natural since culture is not static but dynamic, since it exists only in the minds of people, it can change in the same generation, or in the next - all it takes is replacing existing ideas with other ideas in the minds of people large enough. This is what we are seeing happening in canada and India... a shift of culture. The same culture of responsible for turning India into a terrible country is being adopted by canadians. Meanwhile for the past few decades.. india on the other hand has been adopting the better culture and growing slowly and steadily with many mistakes and hurdles along the way towards a brighter future... slowly because its huge... steadily because it knows where to go.... mistakes and hurdles because its an open democracy... If this cultural shift keeps continuing this way... There will come a time where canada would look more like afghanistan and India will look like the us or scandinavia... However i hope thats not the case. and its just a phase that does not lead to some significant revolution in terms of peoples thinking.

there are 10 indian "students" living next door in a single family dwelling of 3 bedrooms. they share 3 cars and do uber eats delivery (and or other food delivery) around the clock -- reason i know this is because they often pull into my drive way during ungodly hours for extended period of time and triggers my surveilance camera (aimed only at my drive way set to trigger more during night times for movements and noise), since they just park there, and blast music so loud 100 feet radius ground is shaking, the surveillance cam picks up their shift change all the time. i did try to go over twice to voice my concern, and guess what, they either dont speak english or pretend to not speak english. ok i guess. and the reason they park on my drive way is because, well, they dont shovel theirs. lol. so its easier to just use my drive way and walk to their side door. but hey i mean good for them for making a living. but its just weird and disrespectful. and i have to worry about salting my own fking drive way because if they fall, they can sue the shit out of me and i cant complain about their trespassing. bless the canadian law. so i guess for me. they dont bug me, except the fact they just use my drive way because its convenient for them, and the blasting of music middle of the night. lol also i stopped going to tim hortons a few years ago after a few consecutive diarrhea immediately after morning coffee visits. good times

I am an Indian immigrant living on GTA. If I was forced to live in Brampton, I would rather go back to India than live in Brampton. The problem with Brampton is a subset of Indians that are easily recognizable and do not assimilate. Most of these specific subset come here as students and through family sponsorship ( not regular immigration stream). The students get false documents for their language and educational credentials. The politicians are also to blame for pondering for their votes. If there is one ethnic group that has the capacity to destroy Canada further in the future to a point of no return, it is this subset. Unfortunately most Canadians do not know this, and Indians as a general group are seen as the problem. Next time just ask them where in India these people are from, and soon you will know for yourself.

Seeing a doctor in the emergency depends on how urgent your situation is. In 2023, I broke my left humerus--the bone in the upper arm. My sister took me to Sacré-Coeur Hospital, which is a teaching hospital. At triage the nurses thought my shoulder was dislocated so they sent me for X-rays even before registration, and at the most, I waited about 20 minutes in the waiting room before I was sent to an examination room. When the emergency specialist came in, I told him about pain between my shoulder blades and a feeling of oppression in my chest. So in addition to dealing with my broken arm, he prescribed blood tests that revealed I had had a small heart attack, and he kept me ovrnight. The next day an angiogram was performed and the cardiologist installed two stents in my heart artery, and I spent two days and two nights in the cardiology unit. I don't dare to imagine how much that would have cost me in your country, but also, many people go to the emergency for things like the flu because they don't have a regular doctor to go to, and of course, for stuff like that you are going to wait a long time. Unless there aren't many patients ahead of you.

The problem is fear that Indians will travel to the West and not go back. Not just Indians, but Africans, South Americans and many Asian countries do the same. I've lived in the US for 55 years. What does that do to the people that you’ve left behind? How does that make that better for them? I had a friend that worked down in the United States and every time I talk to her, she always uttered. I have to be aware of my white privilege. Undocumented immigrants contributed nearly $100 billion to the economy & social security in 2022 alone. They pay the same sales taxes we do. I watched them put these poor people in jails with real criminals. All the immigrants loved me. I was actually in a federal and ICE facility. So I literally saw all of the immigrants. I protected them from the racist white people. I'm from Tampa Florida, so I'm used to the jails and prisons being majority, black guys. But in Colorado, it's white supremace, gangs and Mexican gangs. What's even more sickening? Is people from Washington would come in and take some of the Indians out. And when they came back, I would ask them questions and they said that the government people would get information on their family back in India and see if they could pay 50k to stay in America. It was sickening. I found out that what they were doing was deporting. Poor people and the people that have money back in their country. They have their families send money and let them stay.
