I grew up in Brampton from 1985 to 2010. I watched it change. Not for the better. I got the hell out there and every time I go back to visit my fam, it's even worse. There are plenty of other races that come to Canada that people love. Have you ever heard of anyone complain about Filipinos? No. They're loved. Indian people just want to come here and make this place Indian and they have tons of kids, so that's exactly what's happening. Brampton was cooked years ago. India is multi-cultural, Punjab is only 1 part of India and their culture is different from the other Indian states represented in India. Yes, fraud should be dealt with, but it’s lazy and unfair to claim that all Indians or international students come here through fraud. Thank you for showcasing this city. Brampton has long been the armpit of Peel Region, and the cause of many of the rest of our issues. The new entitled migrants that come here spill out into other areas of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) spreading the crime and loitering, and essentially "taking over" certain places and causing massive issues. Our Car insurance rates in Peel are insanely high, primarily because of Brampton also being a part of Peel, and the high accident and theft rates coming out of that city. We have a massive issue here in Canada with unchecked mass immigration, and we don't see do be doing anything about removing the people who have overstayed their welcome, aswell as an issue with letting the new population move only to the same already developed places, overpopulating those areas that never had the infrastructure to support those numbers of people. Especially the households that are housing more families than just their own, the people who arent citizens that are clogging up our healthcare systems, all the jobs taken up by the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, the lack of openings in universities and colleges because of international students. Its unbelievable how much they take advantage of the system.

I am a newly arriving immigrant Indian. Been a year now and I have a good job and I am really loving what Canada has to offer. I agree with the frustration - I find myself cringing at the videos of people violating public norms of decency, and the job market is really bad now for services as companies are employing a lot of migrants for a cheaper price. Immigration control, regulation of companies so they cant go below a %age of Canadian citizen/residents along with effective government stimuli to boost the economy by targetting certain industries will tackle a lot of the problems. As for people discarding garbage anywhere and other unwanted behavior - name and shame. These videos are also going public at least in India as a source of great shame and the more eyes on it, the less people will repeat things of this nature.

If you’re name is not Kaur, or Singh, you can forget about any entry level jobs for our youth, or any Canadians in general. Get rid of the benefits for hiring a migrant.

Most illegal migrants spend thousands of dollars to commit the crime (entering any sovereign country illegally is simply an invasion). If they dare to enter China or any of the Arab countries this way, then who knows, they would be in heaven or hell rather than back home. The people leaving Canada are older, and they have money. The ones coming are poor and compete with other poor immigrants that can't afford to leave. When I came to Canada with my parents they had to be skilled and bring with them the minimum of $10.000.00. Many Indians went to USA illegally through currupt agents and companies or pulled there by equally dumb, illegal relatives. They took pride in going away, even if they ended up doing menial jobs or when in better jobs, put up with racist locals. The land of the free in reality is not as marketed. Nigerian here..... Why are people flocking to where they are UNWELCOME? Even if the past government allowed them in, just scrolling through American news, anyone can see that immigration into America is hurting Americans, legal migrants are also hurting from loss of jobs that are going to the illegals for less, etc, etc and there's also a limit to alien acceptance INTO ANY COUNTRY. \nThe lack of self-respect is mind boggling (including from amongst my own Countrymen and women rushing to US, EU)..?

If they want to stop people from trying to get to the U.S., they need to arrest the people who are responsible for undocumented people being able to get jobs. The fact that people can get jobs without proper visas encourages people to try. No jobs = fewer migrants.

I think Columbia should load all the US ex-pats onto airplanes and send them back to their country. Trump can figure out what to do with 30,000 people of his own. All countries that he threatens should do the same. A sudden influx of people with no jobs and no homes to go to, should help the American economy as much as Trump dropping migrants off is doing to these countries.
