0 white people in almost every tim hortons, our government has made me hate my own country. Foreigners are above Canadians in the governments eyes. But I guarantee you I'd be called racist for even saying this. It's so sad, I'm okay with equality but it's quite obvious that we are being neglected. The amount of people that joke saying it's the new India is unbelievable, I'm ashamed of our country

Yes these immigrants are very rude. They have no personality. I was in Walmart and the cashier of course an imaginant and she's so sour, and as my items are piling up .she said you have to pack these items away before I continue. In the meantime I'm getting my bags out and trying my best to hurry because the line is very long she's just standing there looking around instead of offering to help me pack up my groceries no ..... SHE doesn't do that. She's standing there. I found it very rude, disrespectful, disgusting and no help for another human being.. they have no compassion for our Canadian people. It's disgusting I'm truly thinking of boycotting Walmart. They need to be back in there own country. Not to come here and behave this way. Canada is Done. Our government should be ashamed of themselves. To treat their own people like garage. But they will pay for their EVILNESS

I’ve never been to Canada I’ve always wanted to go visit. I’m from CT in the USA born and raised here. I’m ashamed of our government rn we must be the laughing stock of every other nation for all the INSANE EXECUTIVE ORDERS ONE AFTER ANOTHER WITH NO REAL INTENTIONS OR PLANS THAT WILL IMPROVE ANYTHING FOR THE USA! I'm an American with some family ties to Canada and I'm deeply ashamed of how my government under Trump is systematically destroying it's historic relationships with almost all our allies. Trump and his cronies are only interested in the use of raw power to dominate the current geo-political reality. Thank you Trudeau for speaking so bluntly and honestly and for standing up to our bully-in-chief.

I’m an American, but I am not feeling very safe in my own country. I do not like what is going on. I feel very helpless and concerned about what the future holds. I am with Canada, and Ukraine. I am embarrassed and ashamed of our government and what is happening.

Donald Trump claims to be a Christian but what he is doing to other countries and his own country by firing people from government jobs is totally against God God gives life he don't take it and he would never have sent people to the streets just because some politicians created a job for the people this is going to cause people to lose their homes vehicles and their livelihood it is totally evil. Both Elan and Trump have no heart for the poor or the hardship they have placed on these people but God Almighty has a heart for the people who have lost their jobs and their livelihood because of Donald Trump and Elon Musk. In the book of Isaiah God said to the people that were coming against Israel, you have pissed on a wall. And everybody knows that when you piss on a wall it's going to come back on you and that's exactly what's happened. They didn't do it to the people that lost their jobs they did it to God Almighty who loves all people and wants them to have their wages. Maybe Elon Musk knows everything about technology and space craft, but the man ain't got a lick a common sense he has exactly zero wisdom when making decisions. But his greatest lack as he has no heart for the people who are going to be disrupted by losing their jobs he doesn't feel a thing he has no heart he needs to read the Bible because that's where your heart gets developed and you know right from wrong. And you know what God approves of and what he doesn't, and I'm telling you right now God Almighty does not approve of what Donald Trump and Elon Musk are doing. I voted for him, and now I am ashamed that I voted for him because he never mentioned he was going to do all this horrible horror to the very American people that voted for him. The health of a country, or the health of an individual which are clearly linked, is dependent on our ability to see ourselves and each other, and make necessary changes to improve in the areas that we lack personally, and as communities in our beautiful country of Canada and other countries as well. Well, it’s a work in progress. I appreciate how you’ve inspired us to speak about things that aren’t necessarily spoken about. At least not where I live and have lived in Canada. Thank you so much for that opportunity. It doesn’t matter about my opinion. What matters is sharing our own thoughts, feelings, and experiences because they aren’t debatable. \n\nWe are in violation of Multiple Human Rights violations against Inuit , Indigenous and Métis people by the United Nations. Most have no water to drink—not even boiled water and bottled water is available sometimes when it’s brought to reservations . Children don’t have the same access to books. So many thousands of bodies of children taken to residential schools from their parents arms and community for over 160 years yet the deep wounds aren’t given compassion by most people anymore and systemic abuse actively impacts them and therefore all of Us . We are all one whether we see people as other’ or not. We’re humans. \n They’re not seen in media unless it’s a bad story yet we’re only now teaching one mandatory class by non indigenous people. Solution: elders teach their grandchildren languages that weren’t erased by genocide and environmental /spiritual cultural practices and lifestyles before they’re gone by paying first people elders and streaming it into all Canadian classrooms so the children can see a future where they’re valued and all Canadian kids can get a full education and learn accurate history. Making canoes, baskets, sacred ceremonies, food growing (that they taught to pilgrims so they’d survive here), etc. No, I’m not indigenous. I’m an immigrant like all but the first people. They’ve an amazing culture that’s been all but lost . When we don’t see ourselves represented in any media, any careers, and start our lives in extended poverty based on our race, and all that was taken still today, it’s no wonder the teen suicide rate for indigenous youth is more than double / triple all non - indigenous youth. The numbers are growing. \nI live in Care due to my physical disabilities . An international nursing student worked for me providing personal care like showers, meal prep etc and over that year, she said she wouldn’t have moved here specifically because of a few things I’ve mentioned. She told me Canada was sold to people in her country of origin as a ‘multicultural’ safe haven without extreme racism still prevalent today and within our history. \n\nI’m ashamed of Canadian government promises for over 100 years that aren’t fulfilled. All children deserve healthy drinking Water and an education. Period. Especially, the ambassadors of this amazing land that they see as themselves without separation. That’s accurate. We will have nothing to stand upon if we don’t protect the earth. It will go on without us. \n\nI see many things in the comments I’ve seen or experienced, unfortunately. This is a beautiful country for so many reasons. I was born and raised in Canada and left 30 years ago. I went to Vancouver about 10 years ago to visit family and I also found it ugly. The big glass buildings looked so dirty and outdated. It felt like an old outdated logging town. Like most Canadians, I used to be proud of the medical system but now I've realized it doesn't cure people it just keeps the citizens sick. Everyone I know there is sick and they are all proud of how many operations they've had and how many pills they take. I remember paying 30% in taxes as a University student with a part-time job. It just wasn't fair. The last straw was when I saw how the Trudeau government responded during covid. They hijacking the news stations and brainwashed the citizens. And then, they froze bank accounts of those who dared to protest or even support protesters. I lost a lot of respect for people there who I thought were intelligent and It made me realize how that place turns people into drones. Now I'm ashamed to be Canadian. Most Canadians live in a bubble and think it's the best country in the world but that's because they don't know what it's like to live. Good for you for leaving. I wish you all the best.
