For someone who presents himself as a “journalist,” this is a deeply dishonest piece of work. The framing is not subtle: loaded titles, racial counting, selective locations, and deliberately uneven questioning all push the same conclusion. Immigrants are interrogated about their presence and legality, while others are invited to pass judgment on them. When racial stereotypes are voiced, you don’t challenge them — you laugh. That’s not an accident, and it’s not neutral. You clearly understand that housing shortages, sanitation issues, and infrastructure strain are the result of policy failures and poor planning. Yet you repeatedly avoid those causes because blaming systems doesn’t generate clicks the way racial implication does. Reducing complex, structural problems to identity isn’t investigative — it’s lazy, cynical, and intellectually shallow. When a city worker gives a grounded response that doesn’t fit the narrative you’re pushing, it’s brushed aside. When visuals can be used to imply blame, they’re highlighted. That pattern makes the “just asking questions” defense ring hollow. This isn’t exposing truth — it’s manufacturing outrage and calling it journalism. With your reach, that’s not just irresponsible, it’s embarrassing. You're not a journalist but just a racist. That's all

Why won't they investigate why he had to sign in NDA with a student when he got fired from being a drama teacher? Something someone should ask a Prime Minister for the sake of journalism

Turkey has a longer land border with EU country, Bulgaria than Greece. Yet almost all illegal migrant flows from Turkey are deliberately directed towards Greece only. The journalist did NOT wobder or investigate why?\nBS Journalism.\nTurkey over the years has directly or indirectly earned billions and billions as an illegal international human trafficking hub. How cone illegal migrants from ALL OVER and all directions..from Bangladesh to Lebanon, from Morocco to Nigeria and Somalia, all sonehow end up in Turkey trying to cross over to Greece. Why they end up in Turkey to cross over to Greece and not another non-EU country, closer to their end destination in western Europe, i.e\nLet's say Albania, Bosnia etc. The Journalist did not wonder how come and investigate?\nBS Journalism...

Its high BECAUSE we are letting too many new people IN without enough housing to go around. Lets tale care of who is already here...citizens FIRST...and atop playung like we have no idea why its a problem. Kay? Do some actual journalism and investigate wand educate why the cost is high EVERYONE who comws hwre is strong in their CULTURE FAITH IDENTITY and demand a space for theirs. We are not strong in ours and its disappearing rather than people having to assimilate. When i travel to other countries, like Islamic law cpu triew for example, i assume thr cultural norms.. i dont demand i am accomodated and they wouldn't do it!!!

i grew up in Brampton 20 years ago, a child of Caribbean parents. Whenever I go back I can say Yes, Brampton has changed over the years. I also remember that white/Canadian people were always the population struggling with substance abuse- particularly in the downtown area. Conflating the influx of indians with the downturn of white canadians seems to just fuel animosity and scape goat the issue onto a population of people that's probably just trying to seek a better life. why not ask the government to provide better social programs for those in need rather than fueling hate ? Why not investigate the structural issues that have contributed to this situation i.e. politicians gaining votes by doing xyz, or look into what people may be facing in the homelands? That would be a better piece of journalism imo. I think this video is highlighting this issue in ways history has seen before... can't we do better?

Great reporting CNN. As always, we can count on you to give A great descriptive narrative to the pictures we see on the screen…. kinda like when I read Dr. Seuss books out loud to my little nephews. Do you guys ever do any investigative journalism?

You should do a documentary on Amazon losing third party sellers FBA inventory. Some investigative journalism is needed. Recently, reports of Amazon sellers inventory getting “lost” in the fulfillment centers is rising. This issue is very common in the Brampton warehouse, it’s almost a gamble to send in anything these days.

As always, the Fifth Estate is at the forefront of Canadian investigative journalism, shedding light on pressing issues and giving a voice to the little guy. Bravo, and thank you for your continued service to the well being and understanding of Canada and the world. We need you more than ever in this day and age of lies, half-truths and sensationalism.

Yeah right showing one side of story a 1 minute video without investigating anything destroying someone's career. This is exactly what is called media trial and media has stooped to this level they have erased the word investigative journalism from their dictionary.

Is the CBC actually doing investigive journalism again? Bravo, keep up the good work. Hopefully your budget doesn't get cut again. Just stay away from white businesses and Conservative and Liberal politicians! And whatever you do, don't point you lights are Toronto!!!
