Great speech by Trudeau (other than one point: about the Orange Sphincter being a smart guy). Trudeau was authentic and eloquent and very angry. Good for Trudeau for articulating so well what so many people think, and what needs to be said. The Orange Sphincter can barely string 2 coherent words together. YAAAAAY TRUDEAU ??

I’ve read a lot of comments from people saying “Trudeau ruined Canada” in response to people expressing their support for Trudeau in this time.\n\nThat’s not really a great point.\n\nIf Trudeau hasn’t been good for Canada, but gives a coherent, inspiring, and professional speech in this moment that unites Canadians and others alike, then that should speak so much to how awful this situation is. Huge respect to Trudeau and Canada for not backing down. I hope one day we’ll be allies with the right side of the world again.\n\nWe wanna talk about a leader ruining a country? That’s what Donald is doing right now. Except he won’t unite us in the future with a speech like this.\n\nThis American stands with Canada!

It's fresh to see a genuine display of leadership rather than the usual outlandish tomfoolery. Kudos for the red maple leaf.\nYou're quite lucky to have someone in charge that can actually construct more than one coherent meaningful sentence per speech.

One of the most coherent speaker in the world stage today. Not like orange head who just spews nonsense all the time.

Compare these two Presidents: one is a real leader who can speak articulately and coherently, backed by facts, while the other is just a hillbilly/redneck. You know which one is the hillbilly. :)

I am not a fan of PM Trudeau but on this occasion, I'm willing to flipflop. Oh, my goodness, it's so refreshing to hear a country leader speak a coherent sentence, a coherent thought structure, zero vanity tripping, berating opponents, finger-wagging, screeching accusations, tantrums. And then in a second language!!! Just because I'm not one of HIS fans, I am however a massive fan of Canada. I support Canada in this situation 100%. A trade war IS dumb, and even dumber with your closest ally and neighbor. Dumb and Dumber all in one go.... wowzah....so much winning?.

A clever, well spoken man, delivering a clear, strong, and compassionate message *in two languages* is such stark contrast to the orange turd who can barely string one coherent sentence together...

I am not Canadian,nor US.Justin seems to be more coherent and composed as opposed to Trump.I know one resigned while the other got relected.I am putting this purely in terms of speech delivery.\nMy own country's leader's oration skills are crap,maybe that's why I feel the difference.For a change my ears aren't bleeding

Compare the quality of the American political administration and those of Canada and Europe. On one hand you have blaming sleepy Joe, rambling lies, claims of greatness and demeaning allies and on the other coherent fact based arguments. \n\nAmerica, Trump is the kiss of death for your country. You need to get him out of office, along with many of the surrounding sycophants.

wow, Trudeau's speech is like a war speech: so powerful, so clear, intelligent, sharp, coherent, brave. Can he maybe become the president of the USA and bring Canada & the USA under one flag? No need for mr orange anymore to babble & threaten to annex Canada.

I'm no admirer of Trudeau, but this was a great speech. (Can you imagine Donnie making a coherent speech like this? ?) but I disagree with him on one thing: Donnie is NOT a very smart guy. (Although I know why Trudeau felt he had to say that).
