I am tired of people coming to Canada and not understanding why most Canadians celebrate Halloween And when we ask a Person that comes here if they take their children out for Halloween they say i Quote: We dont believe in the Devil only in jesus christ...This is a miss understanding and frankly an insult. I am American independent voter who vote against Treasonous Trump this past election of 2024 in favor of Kamala Harris. While many of my fellow Americans voted for Trump many others like me did not. Now so many good and event Americans are going to suffer because of many Maga or Maga supporting Americans who foolishly chose to support Trump and his lies. Any pain and suffering Anti Trump supporting Americans, along international American Allies and theuir people, suffer will be squarely on the shoulders of Maga and Maga supporting Americans.\n\nHow Trumps first term wasn’t a wake up call and eye opener to how terrible he was and is as president is beyond me. He, treasonous Trump, did nothing to help our economy which essentially stalled or went into generally neutral state with essentially no growth positively or negatively, followed by a near complete nose dive due to Treasonous Trump’s poor handling and equally poor response to the Covid-!9 Pandemic. How people could seemed to forget that Treasonous Trump, not Joe Biden, was responsible for the current sate of things following the pandemic is beyond me. \n\nMaga and Maga supporting Americans have been conned again by Treasonous Trump, who not only failed to properly respond to the Covid pandemic but also incited and or encouraged many of Maga supporters to essentially attack the US Capitol in hopes of stopping Joe Biden’s Presidential Certification. Those in the Inter national world are not alone in their condemnation of the disgrace and embarrassment that sis current US President Trump. True Americans who believe in our constitution and rule of law as decreed by the founding fathers of our nation must unfortunately bare part of the shame Maga America has brought upon our country as a whole.Truly good and decent Americans must bare the shame of now living in a country that much International world now no longer trusts and has lost respect for. For all the hateful Maga thinking and or supporting Americans there are as many truly good non maga Americans who want more peaceful relations with allies in the international world. Sadly because of Trump and his hate many must now unjustly suffer .

We are angry - with those people who ignorantly voted for Trump and those people who chose not to vote. Not the people who chose to vote democratically to remain a democratic country. We are clear that his real agenda is to use this trade war to attempt to coerce us into becoming the 51st state. For MANY reasons, we will not EVER become part of Trump’s America. We will collectively fight in any way possible, even though we know it will be tough, to prevent it. We also know that there is a bigger picture in that it’s clear that Trump is aligned with Putin in the push to destroy democracy globally in favour of an authoritarian world order that benefits only the ultra rich. Canada, the Ukraine, Greenland and Panama are stepping stones to that end goal.

My government chose America 1st . \nLet’s see \nNone of that affects the basic American. \nIt only affects people like you .

Canada and Mexico are not responsible for the people in the US who chose to use drugs. In fact, it's the United States job to keep illegal drugs and immigrants out of the US and they are doing a poor job of it and need someone else to blame. Mexico could retaliate in a way that could flood the US with illegal drugs and immigrants and refuse to repatriate its citizens back into Mexico. The rest of Central and South America could do the same in support of Mexico. They need to get Trump out of office before he ruins America.\nI remember the press conference with the USA (Trump), Canada and Mexico when signing the new trade agreement during Trump last time in office. Trump proudly stated that this is the greatest agreement in the history of the United States. Last week he wanted to know who in the US agreed to the terrible trade agreement. He is losing his mind and cognitive function is deteriorating at a rapid rate. Re-negotiating contracts after the work is complete is how Trump ran his businesses. He has bankrupted many small businesses by not paying them knowing that they do not have the money to go to court. He is only rich because of daddy's money otherwise he would have never survived his many bankruptcies. Thats why no one will loan him money. I can't wait until he screws over the government of Saudi Arabia with one of his shady business deals. Anyone remember what happened to Khashoggi for just authoring a bad article on Saudi's Leaders. What do you think will happen to Trump for monetarily screwing them over?

America will no longer carry others, you got high tariffs on America, we put high tariffs on you, turn about is fair play. We voted for Trump to do EXACTLY what's he's doing, this is why everyone is barking now, America has been carrying so many countries for so long, that everyone has forgotten, no longer though. The most unfortunate result of the presidential election is that Trump thinks he won because people like him and now has a mandate for his reckless policies. He doesn’t seem to understand that the only reason he won was because people don’t like Kamala Harris’s woke agenda, the problem with the border, Biden economics and her stupidity. America was forced to choose between two totally inept, incompetent idiots and chose what they perceived to be the lesser of two evils. Now we will see unreasonable chaotic lunacy unleashed. I'm Canadian. I was born here, raised here, and have lived here all my life. However, my parents are American (they came during the Vietnam war), and I have full dual citizenship. I could cross the border into the U.S., get a job, start working and live there for the rest of my life if I ever chose to do so.\n\nHowever, I will never live in the U.S. Why? The cost of healthcare insurance and healthcare in general is definitely a part of that, but another huge factor is the socio-political atmosphere down there that is very unappealing to me. Everything from politics, the gun issue, much higher violence than we have in Canada, more racism issues, the media, and from what I have observed from decades of visits to the U.S.: there just seems to be a lot more people that are on edge and hostile than I am used to compared to Canada as well. For me, the general culture and mindset is just not something I want to live amongst.\n\nThere are some things I enjoy in the U.S., and there ARE wonderful people there too. I have several friends in the U.S. (born and raised), not to mention my entire extended family is American. But for me, the U.S. is a nice enough place to visit, but it's not somewhere I'd ever want to live.\n\nNo matter what kind of trip I take to the U.S., whenever I get back home to Canada it's always like a deep sigh of relief. I feel safer. I feel more relaxed. I feel at home. No matter how good my trip was, when I set foot back on Canadian soil again I always get a feeling of humble gratitude that I live here. For me, other than the warmer weather and some of the sights the U.S. has to offer, I'm much, much happier in Canada. I feel very fortunate to live here.\n\nAs a side note, I have never found our public healthcare system here in Canada to be lacking whatsoever. Any healthcare I, or anyone else I know that has received any, has always been prompt, of excellent quality, and reassuringly delivered in a professional manner.\n\nAs an example, in 1994, my father had a seizure and it was discovered that he had a benign brain tumour that had to be removed. Not even a week later, he was booked for his surgery and he had his procedure. He was operated on by one of the top two neurosurgeons in North America at the time, he spent three weeks in recovery at the hospital, and he had months of rehab afterward. About 2 weeks later, he had another seizure (the last one he ever had), he stayed in another hospital for an additional two weeks.\n\nHowever, all of what I just mentioned, and I mean ALL of it, was paid for by our public healthcare system. All he had to do was show his healthcare card and sign a release form for his surgery, and that was it. Nothing more. There were literally ZERO bills, no insurance companies, no paperwork, no phone calls, and ZERO hassle. Nothing.\n\nAnd no, our family was NOT rich or privileged either. Just an average middle class family. However, my dad's neurosurgeon told us his surgery and all the months of care he received afterward would have cost $180,000 (in 1994!), and our family would have been out on the street if it wasn't for our healthcare system. My dad also had a very minor heart attack in 2007 which didn't require surgery, and he didn't have to pay a dime or do anything else other than show his healthcare card for that either. Since those two events, my father has lived a healthy, normal life thanks to our public healthcare.\n\nIn Canada, EVERYONE receives that kind of care, regardless of if they are a billionaire or they are homeless. Because that's the moral and ethical thing to do, and is just one of the many reasons why I plan on staying here.

This is so embarrassing to America that’s up to you what kind of president we have and the kind of president the people we chose to begin office

Once upon a time, a lot of people in Europe dreamed of going to the United States and living there. Today it's very hard to find someone like that. The United States has fallen very low and is now like a junction of hell and a landfill. America made one mistake: it chose the invisible hand of the market. Europe for the free market with the addition of state intervention. As a result, people in the USA are very neurotic and are constantly afraid of their tomorrow and their credits, and in socialist Europe people live safer and are simply happier. They don't have so much pressure for success. Success in Europe does not lie in great wealth, but in a comfortable and peaceful life. Canada is a bit more like Europe, so the people of Canada are maybe happier. But it is still a long way from the European Union, where governments care for the well-being of ordinary people, and not just corporations.

Yes it exists but I cannot stand this documentaries acting like this is the norm, it isn’t. I have literally seen no one act like this in my entire life. Maybe I chose decent people to be around? Idk. But America is way better off than we are acting like
