Trump will be gone soon. Things will go back to normal. The only reason why I will not go to the USA is because I don't feel safe down there anymore. Canadians just have to wait until a Democrat is president again if they really need to go there. I would rather go to another country for vacation. Plenty of safer places to go.

The only reason the US imports so much from Canada is because the Democrats stopped production of all the materials Canada supplies the US because of their green policies. \nBut President Trump is reopening the gas, oil, electricity and agriculture production, so they won’t need to import so much from Canada, in fact probably reducing it substantially. \nProbably what will happen now is discussions on various goods to become equal on terms of cost in both countries levelling the playing field.

I support Trump and I support MAGA. However a president needs to keep his word and Trump appears to have broken his word here. Trump said the tariff's were because Canada was not acting on these but now they have and we imposed the tariff's anyway. Our president gave his word that if these countries took certain actions there would be no tariffs. They did and now he slapped them both in the face with sanctions anyway. He broke his word.
