As an American from South Carolina, I am so impressed and appreciative of Canada and Prime Minister Trudeau. His speech is Sincere and Caring… so Refreshing!! I am with Canada and Ukraine!!

Prime Minister Trudeau did great job of standing up to bullies from south.

To my incredible Canadian neighbors -- You cannot imagine the shame and humiliation I am filled with as I sit in my home, which is located south of your beautiful country. Please believe me when I say I am sorry. I am truly sorry, for any hardships my country has unnecessarily brought to your door. I never thought I would be proud of my Prime minister. But Today I stand tall and proud with my government, and feel bad for my brothers and sisters south of us who didnt vote this felon back in. He disrespected so many people in so little time its impressive that some people lacks intelligence and still think he is a fit leader for the free world.

I am very glad our prime minister has stepped up and pushed back hard with what the orange predator down south and his puppet master, Putin, have forced on us. As a South African, I want to say that this trade war, as well as the hostile approach of Trump towards Canada, is devastating. If one were not experiencing it directly, it would be almost impossible to believe. This is such a remarkable speech that it will go down in history as one of the truly great speeches in times of crisis. It is entirely correct to address the American and Canadian peoples directly, as the Prime Minister has done. They are both clear victims of this madness, Americans misled, and Canadians the target, of this senseless trade war. If one reads History, there is another dimension to this, and I hate to say it. Canadians have to prepare themselves for worse. These types of antics by the aggressor usually involve, finger pointing, contrived border incidents, plausibly deniable incursions and other actions, by the aggressor, which one can find if the preludes to the WW1 and WW2 are studied. I am not sure if you have porcupines in Canada, but you need to rapidly become one.

Fewer people are vacationing south. Prime Minister Trudeau mentioned Old Orchard Beach as one of those places. A place where my family since early 1900s travelled to. That’s how long just my family has been connected with the US and my American cousins.

Tariffs 25% higher are in place in The United States of America north and southern borders and the canadian prime minister's words are some of the consecuences. This spillover into the U.S was inevitable, after prime minister boy wonder decided it was good idea to open the flood gates to anyone from anywhere by the hordes...mostly from South and East Asia. The social fabric in Canada has deteriorated rapidly ever since. I am a stranger in my own city. Once friendly, cohesive neighborhoods have now turned into ethnic enclaves. Nobody speaks English anymore. Average paying jobs are becoming more scarce, higher paying jobs more competitive. There's a housing shortage and rent has sky rocketed ($2000+ per month for 1-bedroom apt). We're now in the midst of a health care crisis where emergency wait rooms are filled to capacity with 5-8 hour wait times and a shortage of family gp's accepting new patients, and lastly traffic has become so unbearable, where it's bumper to bumper all day now and into the evening. Yep, in 9 years the Trudeau government and the Liberals have single handedly made Canada unliveable
