Québec is the only province that still feels like its former self since Indians don’t speak French, unlike other provinces, which lack a backbone and only care about money

Thank God. As an American in Québec who is fluent in French, these kind of policies were turning this unique province into another boring and culture-less Ontario. Adios and au revoir. Québec needs to entirely focus on francophone immigration. MOST of these « English speakers » in the « important » industries he is talking about are NOT native English speakers. Go somewhere else where French has not existed for the past 400 years if you do not speak French. Not just immigration fatigue but globalization fatigue.

There are a lot of issues around immigration. Firstly, the IRCC filters receiving low skilled people, second most of them are located on main cities and provinces, most of the country is empty and finally if you are gonna keep your traditions here, do it inside your four walls. I begin to understand why Québec is willing to be independent.

Americans take note. \nCanada has a small population. It is a trading nation. Canada does not pretend to other countries that it is a friend while behaving in treacherous ways. Your minions and hypocrites, Vice President James David Vance and Senator Lindsey Graham should also take note. \nCanada and the United States have been trading with each other for over 170 years. Circumstances and proximity made Canada rely on trading with its neighbour, the USA. In 2024, 75.9% of Canada's total exports went to the United States. \nWas it convenience or laziness that made it so, or Canadians’ trust in America being a fair partner? \nPresident Donald J Trump, you have insulted Canadians and the whole United States will harvest the consequences. \nYou had negotiated the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) to replace the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) calling USMCA the best deal, and recently you called your deal the worst deal. \nYou can be the Manchurian Candidate as much as you want. You seek to destroy Canada. Go ahead, do your worst. Keep being manipulated by the Putin and Musk of the world. \nThis is the last time you will use this closeness between Canada and the USA to hurt Canada this way. Does not matter how long it will take, Canada will diversify its trading practice to foolproof itself from future fools like you, elected to the oval office. \nNeighbours, Canadians will remain, there is no way of moving Canada to a different place on this planet’s map. Canada may remain an economic partner, but a close friend, you can forget it. \nThere is a motto on the licence plates of vehicles of Québec (in case you might not know Donald, it is a province of Canada, not part of your fantasy 51st state). Since 1978 the motto says: “Je me souviens”. In English it translates into “I remember”. Canadians will remember what America is doing to them.

After having moved from my birth province of Ontario to Québec (2years), I moved back in Ontario because Eastern Ontario ( Ottawa) is the best place and more affordable to live. You pay alot more taxe in Québec.

Important rule if you want to live in the province of Québec, learn to speak a minimum of french language. The majority of people speak french outside of Montréal

MutiCULTuralism destroyed this once great country and the current psychopath's psychopath father implemented it and the sociopathic minions, the Canadian electorate, followed blindingly along.\n\nCanada isn't a country but a series of motels. \n\nThe only province looking after its own interests is Québec.

Too many immigrants with no intention to assimilate and that overflood the current citizens can only lead to tensions or a scaling to violence. Like Quebec as already said about too many anglophone or no French speakers to the province as a Quebecer we have no future in Canada. Vive le Québec libre! Québec independence

If all the province have listened Québec in 1982, this problem would have never existed.

Québec is notoriously racist to any and everyone who isn’t a white Francophone with a long, established genealogy in that province.

Vous pouvez dire ce que vous voulez je trouves qu’on une excellente qualité de vie au Québec jamais je changerais de province. J’haïs le « doom and gloom » des gens qui commentent ici.

14:09 YES. YES, HE SAID IT CORRECTLY. Montréal bagels are AWESOME. Glad to live here, although, I was absolutely sure at first that, by your standards, Québec was gonna be pretty low on the list, a pleasant surprise, for sure. I believe that all provinces are wonderful, because, here you have to deal with some.. very grumpy indeviduals with.. a very colourful french language palate. Awesome video, would recommend to anyone willing to move here ❤❤❤

Just reminder that The Province of Québec was a Theocracy since 1793 to 1959. \n\nQuébécois are hostiles to any type of religions goes above each other. \n\n\nThe law in place include for all those religions:\n\nJudaism \nBuddhism\nHindisum \nJainism \nSikhism \nChristianity \nConfusism \nShintoism \n....\n\n\nNo religious sign in public area.\n\nReligion = private. \n\nExactly like Tunisia, in fact... Well when I was there in 1996 and 1998 (10 years old).\n\n\nSystemic racism is a bullcrap in my opinion since nobody know what really mean, billion of definitions doesn't help for larger public comprehension. \n\nWhy not call it Subconcious Racism or Social Subconcious Racism.

39,000 entered illegally into the province of Québec in 2022...through Roxham road. The people and farms that live along the US-Canada border that covers the Roxham area are having a hard time. 68% of Québebers want this crossing closed for good.

Je n’sais pas comment vous êtes arrivé à ce décompte et placé le Québec en premier qui est la pire des provinces selon moi ! Il n’y a vraiment rien de mieux ici , l’Alberta aurait dû être en première position

Enjoyed the video and well done, but a little disagreement. I wouldn't advise moving to Québec. Born and raised there, speak french fluently and had a good life, but it`s not the best deal in the country. Taxes are incredibly high and you get very little quality services in exchange. Unless your french is excellent, you basically can' t live a normal life outside Montreal. Everything will happen in french outside Mtl. Infrastructure in Montreal is third world level and management has been corrupt. Hospitals and schools are bad, for the most part. Consumption taxes are high. Most alcool and weed is sold by the province and very expensive. Gas is expensive. So, despite a decent economy and median salaries, your purchasing power is pretty depleted. Many areas and cities are not very vibrant or interesting, but you can also find many lovely cities around the province where a good life can be had.

Yes, the New-Brunswick is the only bilingual official province but the Québec is the only official french language province.

Vive le Québec libre! Nous sommes la province la plus progressive politiquement! La sociale démocratie en amérique du nord c'est nous! C'est juste les ignorants qui font du Québec-bashing.

Québec would be my number 1 too. In smaller towns and regions you can get very good houses for less than $250k. The old historic cities of montreal and quebec are breath-taking and it just feels really nice and cozy to live basically anywhere in the province. There are tons of jobs too and we have cold winters but also nice warm summers and beautiful autumns. The food is great because we get fresh local/regional products from fertile fields. Eating seasonal is the best. And it’s so goddamn safe. In the small town where I grew up, we never locked our doors. Never been robbed. And we’re party people too! Bars close alot later than in other places like Ontario, and people here really love soirées and microbreweries. I’m grateful everyday that I was born in a place where it feels so good to live.

I'm from the province of Québec, but have to say, the city of Montreal is becoming a violent shithole very quickly.\n\nQuébec city is much better.

i lved in 5 differents provinces and i have to say, if B.C. werent that expensive, it would be right up there with Québec.

You almost brought tears to my eyes, I was born in Montreal, and although I have traveled much, I could never find any place that compares even closely to my city and my beautiful friendly Province of Québec, where everybody is welcome and respected. You picked the right one although none of the others are completely bad. You are invited any time.

I've got to agree, Québec is the number one province in Canada. I've lived in most of the great cities of the world; Montréal is first in my mind, pocket, and belly (food, French and every other culture!) ... safe, cultured, and temperate in climate (once you get through windy and cold January and February!). The (McGill Univ.) health system is arguabbly the largest, most diverse and effective in the world!

I live In Québec, and let's just Say I love this province! But the others don't look Bad either! In Fact, I'm planning to visit the others someday!

Great video, and wonderful selection. Indeed Québec is the best. I left this province 32 years ago. But still my heart belongs to la belle province.
2022-05-20 0
I was surprised but at the same time not surprised that my province is #1. Québec is definitely the best place to raise a family and it's not uncommon to have multiple kids. I live close to the Ontario border and because having kids in Ontario is more expensive they tend to have just one.

I love my beautiful country. ?? I would love to visit all the provinces. Ontario and Québec I'm familiar with. But I'd love to visit Newfoundland and Labrador.
2022-03-24 0
I think every Canadian would expect the top 5 to be some combination of Québec, Nova Scotia, Alberta, BC, and Ontario but I’m kinda surprised by the order lol. I’ve lived in Ontario, Manitoba, and Alberta but have travelled to every province except Newfoundland and Labrador. Only 22 so that probably has some effect but I kinda expected \n1. Ontario \n2. Alberta \n3. British Columbia \n4. Québec \n5. Nova Scotia \nCost of living definitely screws BC and Ontario over though. Pretty solid list, the 5 are pretty much interchangeable depending on what you’re after.

well with COVID and restriction starting sooner and easing later that everywhere else in Canada, Québec is not the best province anymore that is for sure \nanyway all of Canada is going down so it doesn't really matter
2022-03-20 0
I'm from Québec, but I love all the provinces of Canada, they are just different from each other, and keep in mind even the worst in Canada is way better than a lot of countries. For me, I see the rest of Canada like family, like cousins. So I love them all. Even the native in the north, I don't see them a lot but hey, they are family too.

I did not watch this video. However, it has come to my attention that you placed Québec as #1 on your list of best provinces; this I can not stand for. I demand you revise this list and put Québec at MOST in the number 8 spot, just above Saskatchewan. I would appreciate a hasteful mending of this HEINOUS sin. Although a complete deletion of this video essay would be adequate.\n\nSincerely, J.

Whatever, the temperature doesn't count because in literally every province and territory of Canada you enjoy -30 degrees celsius every winter ! I live in Québec and once it got from -10 to about 15 degrees in a single night ! It took 3 hours and them got a nice 25 degrees difference !

Thank you for your entertaining video. Hard to fit such a diverse and beautiful country in in short video. There was no mention of Québec City. Out of the most beautiful province in Canada, Québec city is the birthplace of the nation....and a slice of Europe! Skiing in Canada in the province of Québec on the ancient Appalachians....or in the Rockies of British Columbia....EPIC! As well, Canada has 2 official languages nation wide.

Yes I agree that Québec is the greatest province since I've lived here my hole life. J'adore ça!

Born and raised francophone from Québec, that has seen ALL of Canada and I love it ALL. Every province and territories are amazing. Also lived in Ontario, Alberta and BC.

Yay my province is #1 let's go Québec !!! I did not expect that at all
2021-10-10 2
I am happily surprised that for a change, there is no Québec bashing in this video nor in the comments. Usually the Canadian social medias are full of repetitive degrading comments about Québec.\n I'm from Québec and as a veteran I served my country in many beautiful provinces and territories until retirement. I wish we would be more united and see what we have in common rather than the contrary. ??

Born and raised in Québec here! I love the Maritimes, especially New-Brunswick which is probably the only other province that makes me feel at home. <3

well i'm actually from Québec and i really love Nova Scotia. Such a beautiful province. But all the other province and territoire are beautiful as well, it would be a shame to died without to see each of them.

Merci pour la fleur au Québec et je dois dire que chaque province du Kanata que j'ai visité avait ses beautés et ses problèmes Thank You all !

After 12 years living in Quebec, I can only agree this province is probably the best one to live in, especially if you speak French. The language, the culture, the safety, the architecture (especially Québec City and Montréal but elsewhere too), the natural landscapes (Charlevoix, Gaspésie, Mauricie, Saguenay, Estrie...), the St-Laurence river, the great location in Northeastern Canada bordering 4 US states (New York State, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine - insert a hiker's bias here), the relatively low-cost of higher-education and excellent universities...In spite of the downsides that anyone could point out, it is still a great place to live and raise a family.

Having a military spouse we have moved many times across Canada. I was born in the province of Québec and have live in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. I agree with Québec rating, British Columbia should be higher Vancouver Island is amazing and Alberta should be lower. Yes! Prices of house are cheaper , health care is good except during the pandemic but too reliant on oil prices. Their also not much sense of community in Alberta.
