I have such mixed feelings watching this video and the following is just my opinion. I am an immigrant from India too and I love my country's values and culture but I also realize its drawbacks. When I came here, my immediate instinct was not to change everything to how it was back home...It was rather to learn the culture and values of Canada too (which I know is in and itself a mixture of multiple cultures). If you are reading this my fellow Indians, It is truly my most humble request to remember that you don't have have to quit your culture, but that does not mean that you make no effort or take part in involving yourself in other cultures or mock them. You have the chance to better a country that has offered YOU a better life. Please don't ruin things for other immigrants or Canadians. We are resilient, and we can choose the best of both worlds.

So ironic because I remember the days when my fellow Canadians were mad at the influx of well behaved, tax paying, money spending Chinese immigrants around 10-15 yrs ago. Sure they bought up a lot of real estate and contributed to the raising property values, but many of the Canadians benefited from that selling their property for amounts they never even imagined and they created a small economic boom in the GTHA. I'll bet many of us miss them dearly now we know what true bad immigration looks like 😢

Remember fellow Canadians we pay 42% taxation and the liberals are the worst for this as they are set to increase the carbon tax April 1st.

We lived with Donald Trump’s bombastic behavior every day on the national stage, and we suffered as we saw our neighbors piling up in body bags. The man who was supposed to protect this country put it in peril, because of his recklessness and impulsiveness. It was like an abusive father ruling the family by fear and violent behavior. That was the consequence of New York’s warning getting ignored. Next time, we know it will be worse. Make no mistake: the twice-impeached, 4-time indicted Donald Trump is still a fool. But we can’t let our fellow Americans write him off like one. Evil thrives in the shadow of dismissive mockery, which is why we must take the danger of Donald Trump very seriously. So today we issue another warning. From this place where Abraham Lincoln spoke — right here in the beating heart of New York — to the rest of America: This is our last chance. Democracy won’t survive the return of a wannabe dictator. And it won’t overcome evil if we are divided. So what do we do about it? I know I’m preaching to the choir here. What we’re doing today is valuable, but we have to take today into tomorrow – take it outside these walls. We have to reach out to the half of our country who have ignored the hazards of Trump and, for whatever reason, support elevating him back into the White House. They’re not stupid, and we must not condemn them for making a stupid choice. Our future doesn’t just depend on us. It depends on them. Let’s reach out to Trump’s followers with respect. Let’s not talk about “democracy.” “Democracy” may be our holy grail, but to others it is just a word, a concept, and in their embrace of Trump, they’ve already turned their backs on it. Let’s talk about right and wrong. Let’s talk about humanity. Let’s talk about kindness. Security for our world. Safety for our families. Decency. Let’s welcome them back. We won’t get them all, but we can get enough to end the nightmare of Trump, and fulfill the mission of this “Stop Trump Summit.””

.... Ugh. I don't understand my fellow Americans. I do not understand why they would want to have someone like Donald Trump represent us. I mean is he trying to piss off everyone outside of the US? Don't even get me started on that Trump Gaza AI generated video. Does he really view himself as being a gold statue? I seem to remember a story in a book about people that worship the gold idle of a bull. So does Trump think he's bigger than God? Obviously. Maybe it's the end of times and Donald Trump or Elon musk is the Antichrist. But nevertheless it's a shameful time to be an American citizen.

Remember when this same fellow froze protesters bank accounts and began collecting peoples weapons? Yet, he has the gull to talk about dictators. Trump actually wants to avoid WWIII and I hope what his administration does will bring an end to the war. Though, I do agree he should be more tough on Putin. That being said, I do agree that the crossings from Canada are not nearly as significant as compared to our southern border. It would be nice to see more from Canada in their investments to secure the border and stop crossings, cartel movements, and drug operations. The US has spent more than 409 billion since 2003 on such operations. Regardless, I feel for you Canadians and it sucks that it has come to this and I hope we keep strong relations in the future. Hopefully we can come to a fair deal soon. Mexico and China are the big players that do not do nearly enough to prevent these crimes. In fact, the Mexican government helps the cartels by not trying to stop them. China's lack of regulation on the ingredients to make fentanyl contribute to a large extent to this tragedy as well.

U.S.A first! Remember my fellow Americans

I'm so sorry my fellow Canadians. Remember there is a great number of us who did not vote for this man.

All this because the US cannot get it's fellow citizens and most vulnerable people the help they need with their addictions. Let's remember that the US has the biggest demand for illegal drugs in the world. Republicans love starting wars and not solving the root causes of problems. They never learn from their mistakes.

Couple of years ago USA tourists were coming into Canada. I remember that, seeing a fellow so cold who got picked up.

So, everyone that convinced me to go to Canada is now leaving the country, including my fellow Hispanic YouTubers ... and I'm barely starting my journey, this just leaves me concerned instead of excited and it really makes me sad to be saying that, hopefully those who will go through the hard times in Canada will also get rewarded, and remember amigos, when in Canada, behave as Canadian.

You cant just blame federal or JT for this issue. Provisional governments are equally responsible as well. They allowed mass international students due to their (provincial) going down economy for various factors. They made false promises to students that students can get PRI in less than a year, otherwise do you think students were willing to go to these cold areas to study without any benefits? You made a promise, now its time to fulfill.\n2. International students funds the college/school by paying fee 3 times more than a Canadian one. There was no check and balance from provincial governments on school/colleges, because they liked the inflow of $$$ within their provinces.\n3. Totally agree with you that fake students should not be getting any merci. But are all the fake students from India, not really. Both the federal and provincial governments were allowing more Indian students because they wanted to have more economic ties with Indian growing economy. \n4. Punjabi (including Sikhs) is one of the best marshal races to serve in army or security agencies. Our Canadian officials never hire personals without a proper security check. \n5. Khalistan's supporters are adapting a peaceful way for their freedom land. As far they are peaceful, we should not have any issue with their struggle. Just like we do not have issues with Quebec separatists. \n6. Remember, majority of Canadians are immigrants from various part of the globe including you as well, weather you are coming from 3rd, 4th or 5th generation. Its easy to spread hate compare to love. Lynn Ngugi am so grand you touched on the taxes as a factor and how they work in other countries where people actually do pay taxes . Unfortunately our fellow citizens will fight tooth and nail because they don’t want to pay taxes . Even those who can afford to pay will fight to be exempted from paying including going to courts just to avoid paying taxes . \nLife in Diaspora may look easy and smooth running to those not living there that is because the mechanism of running the economy is well put in place .\nHowever our people please remember the residents in these countries are actually paying taxes and in turn their government uses this tax money to run the economy . \n\nSo in these countries that we are running to as refugees ?believe you me if you are legitimately employed earning a living and with a paycheck then you automatically become a tax payer as well no body is fighting that . \n\nSo our people let’s stop fighting our own regimes on every policy concerning paying taxes , otherwise we are doomed and will be on exodus status for eternity. Children's camps, travel card, free school meals, as well as a lot of benefits.\n2) Developed infrastructure, accessible public transport ($30 pass for all types of transport in Moscow and the nearest Moscow region), unlimited travel pass. 783 parks in Moscow, numerous shopping centers, countless child development centers; in winter you can ski and snowboard in these same parks. In general, you will definitely find something to keep yourself busy.\n3) Affordable medicine. Russian citizenship can be obtained after 5 years of permanent residence, BUT foreign citizens have the right to obtain a medical policy for themselves after obtaining a residence permit. The current clinics look like Cyberpunk 2077, seriously. In the regions, unfortunately, it is completely different. In December 2023, I was hospitalized with double pneumonia, and I didn’t pay a single ruble for treatment.\n4) Security. You can calmly walk around Moscow at night and not be afraid of anything. There are cameras everywhere in Moscow, on shops, on poles, and video recorders on cars. Everyone knows perfectly well that if you commit a crime in Moscow, you will be punished, and no one in their right mind needs this. Here I advise you to look at the channels of your fellow countrymen. Banditry is an echo of the past, in the 90s people survived as best they could, then the ruble depreciated and everyone fought for food as best they could, now the situation is different.\n5) Racism. I won’t rant, here you should also watch the video of your fellow countrymen who live in Russia, not those who accuse us of racism while living in their country and who have never visited us, but those who live. On a personal note, no one cares what color you are, as long as you are a person who lives within the law as a peaceful citizen. If you act like an asshole, behave inappropriately, use insulting words towards other people, you will feel it quickly. In general, if you are a good person, you can forget about this word.\n6) If you receive a residence permit, education for your children is free. Our state generally cares excessively about children. And I still remembered! Summer holidays for children are 3 months, so where should they go? Summer camp, give mom and dad a break from your nasty whims))\nIf you want to send them to the Black Sea, if you want to send them to Altai to a health center, you can send them to a city camp (They brought the child in the morning and took them away in the evening). Previously, I was constantly sent to the black sea on a permit that was given to my father at work (Shipyard). Now this is only possible in special cases.\n\n7) Vacations. You are required to go on paid leave for 28 days a year. 12 public holidays.\n\n8) Sexual minorities. Having seen enough of cancel culture, where the minority opinion became higher than the majority opinion, these communities were cancelled. When people are openly threatened for their opinions on gender. Fire teachers for using the wrong pronoun. Where pedophiles try to legitimize themselves. We are not on the same path with this.\n\nNow there is an acute shortage of IT specialists, maybe this will be interesting for them.\nFarmers like to settle here; 100 hectares of land can be bought for $16,000. Compared to Europe at $5000-6000 per acre. A well-known foreign representative is Justus Walker if anyone is interested.\nIn general, Russia is open to new citizens of the country, the state gives everything to create a unit of society, on your part you just need to be a law-abiding citizen and live a quiet life. We have problems in the country, they are the same as in any other, but nowhere will there be freedom to implement your plans as in Russia.\n\nAll the best!

I’m with my fellow Canadians, I’ll visit the US (although even then, it’s beginning to look less and less ideal) but over my dead body would I live there. \nThe fact you have become desensitized and don’t discuss school shootings is baffling. 4 or 5 years ago, there was a shooting where I live in Canada. The whole city was on lock down. I believe one elderly woman died, and 3 were injured. The person was caught, arrested, and is rotting away in jail. It hasn’t happened since. People still remember it. My little sister and I were scared, so we hid in my bedrooms closet. (It was on the second floor, and there was no way anybody could break in and get up there easily.)\n\nHealthcare is a huge issue. My family has a long line of health issues, and with that in mind, the risk is just to obscene.\n\nI am a woman. The fact that laws are being stripped away from us by old white men who have no idea what it is like to be a woman in the states is horrifying. \n\nGun culture. It’s near-on impossible or at least it’s incredibly difficult to get guns here. Owning guns isn’t respected. When people die from being shot, it’s remembered and spoken about, even years later. At least to me, it seems you care more for your Guns and the rights to own and use them, then Women who want to have bodily autonomy.\n\nYour political issues. I don’t even know what to say at this point beyond. The entire senate is rich old straight white men who like to make laws about groups they aren’t part of, and strip laws away from others. You basically have two polar opposite sides of the political spectrum and that alone, divides people so deep they can’t even be in the same room for more then 10 seconds.\n\n\nI’m Part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Enough said. \n\nI’m well aware that not everyone in the US is like this. But in my eyes, that’s more then enough to deter me. I’m glad you decided to take a look at this, and see our reactions to the questions. And I’m glad you didn’t take offence to the harsh or bitter answers. Sure Canada isn’t perfect, but it’s better in enough ways to keep me much preferring staying here.
