"Reciprocity!" my fellow Canadians, the Yanks bit the hand of kindness and friendship time to let them have a taste. Having travelled a lot in the big wide world I can honestly say "Transit Visa's" for Yanks wanting to go to Alaska, Point Roberts and the North West Angle should focus the "murican mindset wonderfully" Far too long have we give them a break.

Trudeau needs to open the dictionary and understand what the word reciprocal means. And so do the idiots here saying they stand with Canada, Mexico, the UK and Europe.

No winners in a trade war? Guess it’s easy to say when the trade leans in your favor and it’s under attack to equal it out. Must not understand how reciprocal tariffs work. You tax us we tax you. We’re looking for fair trade. Your retaliation is welcoming the escalation of a trade war.

I think we have cheaper alternatives in the US. How about 50%. As long as we have 250% tariffs on American goods, I say keep going. We need reciprocal trade and need to fix the border issues also. We lose so many to the fentanyl. Canada needs to make its military contributions also. We don’t need the bs words from this bs guy. Some better leadership can still fix this but when I hear boycotts, I start checking labels also.

?Trudeau is a bad joke and worse, a liar. Trump demands secure borders to protect our citizens. Trump is establishing RECIPROCAL tariffs to improve our economy in a fair and just manner. Trudeau says Canada is “polite,” but the hockey game between us proved otherwise. Canada is a neighbor we can live without. \nHopefully Canada will return to sanity, common sense and decency under new leadership and we can resume previously held good relations with our Northern neighbors.

By the way we don't need Canadas energy when they Say they're going to so-called turn off the energy to America that means literally nothing five minutes of research will tell you that the United States does not need Canadas energy! I accept your message as a positive effort, but take exception that you are ambassadors for India. That is my main concern: many immigrants are not just keeping their old culture but forcing it on native Canadians of all descent. \nFor refugees, it absolutely boggles my mind why you might want to recreate the very situations that you are fleeing from. \nFor Indians specifically, I’ve noticed a tendency to hire only other Indians, excluding Canada from Canadians and I don’t appreciate it. After all, Canada welcomed you. \n\nI think many Canadians had no issue with any culture of nationality. Growing up here, I never saw any hatred or racism, despite what that idiot Trudeau says. In the last 10+ years that’s changed, and the resentment is growing exponentially now. We have been accepting of all other cultures, even when they directly conflict with our own and that tolerance and respect has not been reciprocated and many cases. This leads to resentment. \n\nIt’s not whites resenting Indians or muslims or whatever, it’s Canadians resenting those who disrespect Canada and Canadians! Canadians of Indian descent resent this. Naturalized citizens that truly identify as Canadian resent this. My father and my wife were both born elsewhere and feel this way.\n\nDespite growing up in Canada, I do not speak French. When I go to Quebec, try to speak the language, but I’m pretty bad at it. French-Canadians appreciate the effort even though I’m butchering their language. it’s a show of respect.

Welcoming them brings conflict and these countries would rather use israel when convenient. Not be there when israel needs their reciprocation.
