This is what we are seeing happening in canada and India... a shift of culture. The same culture of responsible for turning India into a terrible country is being adopted by canadians. If this cultural shift keeps continuing this way... There will come a time where canada would look more like afghanistan and India will look like the us or scandinavia... With the price of homes it was expected a long time ago that crime would explode. Even people with jobs are having a hard time to get a home. As a Canadian born to immigrants, the emphasis of 'temporary foreign worker' is on 'temporary'. Its highly immoral for immigrants to be scapegoated for the greed of corporations wanting cheap slave labour, and for colleges to reap the benefit of a broken student visa loophole to immigration, to the detriment of all Canadians. This loophole has remained open for long enough, at the behest of lobbyists and politicians to use for talking-points at election time, but everyone is glad someone is finally doing something about it. Our job markets and real-estate prices needed this to recover to sane-levels. It takes a non-politician in power for things to get done for practical reasons, not to score political points.

As someone from Ottawa Canada who goes to Toronto often, yes there are a lot of Indians in our country and my gripe comes down to how they overrun traditional fast food places we grew up on, but since they have no attachment to it they half ass and don’t make things up to par and make it seem like they’re doing you a favor when you’re paying. So many places are ruined because of this, not just Tim Hortons. However, Tyler postured this as if this is a recent epidemic when Brampton has BEEN known for a lot of Indian immigrants starting in the late 80s and 90s- maybe he mentions this and I missed it or I haven’t got to it yet as I’m midway through the video… Toronto and its areas are very diverse and have been for a long time. Nearby from Brampton in Markham that’s where a lot of Chinese are and you can see it by the business types and you see Chinese lettering under English writing in some places. So why is Tyler acting like this is a rapid epidemic that just started? To ramp you guys up. Again, not denying the fact we have a ton of Indians and have taken in more than ever in the recent years, but these weren’t calm white places that have been overrun like in some of your other videos in Europe, etc.

As a Canadian, I work in healthcare in the disability sector, and I am extremely frustrated with what I am seeing the Indian population taking over the sector. There are ongoing issues with Indians who cannot communicate clearly in English with clients. This has resulted in serious confusion and, on several occasions, situations escalating into violence. Clear communication is essential in healthcare, and this failure puts vulnerable clients at risk. Clients are not being provided with proper meals that meet their dietary needs. Instead, food is often prepared without consideration for the client’s usual diet, which has caused clients to become physically ill. On top of that, basic food safety practices are not being followed at all. To make matters worse, the company does not provide proper foodsafe training, despite it being a legal requirement. There are also major professionalism issues. Some Indians arrive late to work—sometimes by hours—and give excuses with no consequences. I have documented these incidents and reported them to upper management, yet nothing is done. During shifts, 90 percent of Indian staff sit in the office for long periods, leaving clients unattended except for basic cooking. This can go on for days until white staff are scheduled. One incident that really stood out involved a client returning from a doctor’s appointment. When I asked how it went, I was told the client “had something on his head” and needed to use a cream. When I asked what the condition was or whether it was contagious, the Indian staff member did not know what the word contagious meant let me remind you I work in health care. I later learned from the client’s mother that it was a fungal infection information that should have been clearly communicated immediately for everyone’s safety. I am exhausted by the lack of standards, accountability, and training in this workplace. If you are going to work in healthcare in Canada, you must be able to communicate effectively, follow food safety laws, show up on time, and provide proper care. Lowering standards for the Indian population puts vulnerable people at risk, and management allowing this is unacceptable. If your coming to Canada follow are values and beliefs are stay in India.

I love Punjabi people, they are high class and they surprise me when they tell me they were farmers before coming to canada because I don't get that rugged vibe from them. So its not an invasion we just need come to a place of understanding and learn to work together. Hey! Im a sikh that was born in canada, with my parents, grand father, great grand father also being in this beutiful country. I wanted to start of by saying a couple of things. My home was in brampton for a long time and I have personally seen the safety gone down, my family used to come back from trips with our garage open and everything would be completely fine. The long term sikhs and indians came and actually contributing positively and that can be seen with how good canada was pre 2020. Immigration too an extent was good, but mass immigration was never a good idea. In 2018-2019 the old time punjabi community was heavily against so many students coming in, so much so people that were indian had "no students" signs when renting their basements. It's sad to see people that came here running things so badly and ruining the effort and contributions made by many(I even face the consqeunces of things I have never done). Remeber don't be afraid to call out people for their bullshit, but also dont bash innocent people. Now many ppl came to canada and have done good like sikhs having the highest donors of blood, plasma, and platelets. We also giveway a lot in charity and food. A good news is Canada is cracking down on these bad people and quickly, and many good people who came are returning back home. Canada embraced multiculturalism a long time ago- there isn't any central "Canadian values". Not assimilating is only offensive in America.

I think RocaNews you need to be a little more thoughtful into your questioning. I'm also feeling like it's a little lazy to do this research and not include certain data points with it. Or to actually create processes/opportunities to get "newcomers" and "long-time residents" to speak together, a division of people that is far more complicated than the division you add to in this documentary. Think about your values and what the goal of this is. Reflect on this before you just go do the same elsewhere. Look at the comments. What are you adding to/contributing to relieving tension within and between communities? What is your overall purpose.
