If you are having so much trouble with these people, then put them on a plane and send them back to India 🇮🇳. More than half of them are people who fled India after engaging in criminal activities and sought refuge in Canada. No one in India demands Khalistan except for a few terrorist Sikhs living in Canada. In 2024, Indian students spent more than 10 billion Canadian dollars in Canada. In 2025, the number of students going to Canada decreased by 50 percent. So don't worry, Indians won't be going to Canada anymore.

Even Indian Canadians that were born here don't want these immigrants. When people from their own ethnicity don't want them here, that says a lot. As someone who spent years working in public maintenance and sanitation, I know first-hand who the least hygienic people are, and there is no contest. Indians are at the top of that list. Remember that the next time you see them handling your food.

I am from India but it's fcuking annoying to see people spent thousands of dollars just to go to Canada and working there as a taxi driver or as a waiter in fast food joints. Same fcuking indian mindset of culture takeover

I know it's not on most people's radar, but what is a huge problem that no one talks enough about is how when so many temporary foreign workers come here, they make money in Canadian dollars and then send that money out of our economy to their home Country. So our Canadian dollars are sold, and isn't spent in our Economy. When you go somewhere and you don't see any born in Canada employees you really need to make a choice to not support that business. Canadian wages should go to Canadians and spent in our economy. I hope we wise up and we start to really limit how many people we bring into the Country. We're literally bringing in 400K+ people that's about the size of Halifax, EVERY year. We just cannot support this rapid growth. Especially when the people coming in have no intention of integrating and do not share our values.

Worst thing that ever happened to Canada. I can't even begin to describe how my community has changed. I don't even recognize it anymore. Spent my entire life in a small town and for some unknown reason it is part of a "designated resettlement zone." There are more Indians than whites - it's insane. Local businesses have closed, new businesses catering to Indians have opened. Littering is rampant. Homes aren't taken care of. It's a tragedy. 70% of Canadians don't want these levels of immigration - hell, even *immigrants* don't want more immigrants. Ontarians spent decades crying about Quebec trying to keep their culture and language alive, saying they should be forced to integrate into broader Canadian Culture. Spent my first 21 years in Brampton and in that time it grew in population and decayed in culture. I will likely never move back. And if you are curious about why Btowns driving is so awful, go look at the local dmv... you might find something there.

I’m South African Indian from Durban, and I spent three months in Vancouver for work. Honestly, I wouldn’t visit Canada again. The cold was unbearable for me, and I found the country dull and boring. Coming from Durban, where there’s warmth, energy, culture, and life everywhere, Canada just didn’t feel like my kind of place. Some people may enjoy the quiet and structure, but it’s not for everyone—and it definitely wasn’t for me. Three months was more than enough to know it’s not my vibe.

The contrast between immigrants, many from India, and the rhetoric of those who now feel like a new minority was striking. It should not surprise me that racism appears anywhere humans are, but what stood out was how some speakers treated all Indians as a single people, despite hundreds of cultures, and accused them of failing to assimilate to ‘their way.’ Many of those voices were themselves descendants of immigrants who were once pressured to abandon Norwegian or other identities in the name of assimilation. Yet there was little evidence they had actually spent time getting to know their Indian neighbors, their cultures, friendships, or daily realities. Instead, the focus was fear and a narrative of societal collapse, rather than honest engagement that separates real local issues from blanket blame. Of course, any local community can have problems, and some groups can be unwelcoming. But the argument presented implied there is only one way to be Canadian. That echoes xenophobic rhetoric in the US about who counts as ‘American,’ often while ignoring the reality of Indigenous peoples entirely. I do not deny the importance of shared commitments like the rule of law, freedom, and evidence based policy rooted in the Enlightenment and scientific thinking. But culture and learning can coexist with those values. What troubled me most was how poverty and discrimination were replaced with racial generalizations, and how victim language was used to deflect responsibility, something that resembles DARVO. Given the same conditions, these problems could arise in any group, regardless of race.

As someone who has spent almost 40years in Canada, we are all tired of them. It's not about race, it's about their lack of assimilation and disregard for the existing culture here in Canada. By the way Tyler, if you're wondering why all the retailers use these temp workers, it's because the Canadian government uses our tax dollars to provide wage subsidies to the companies, so they literally get to pay them less as a business because the tax payers make up the difference. Have any of you attempted to work with C&I? I did after adopting a children. 10 years ago, it was a breeze. First (and only) visitor record, valid for 2 years, with citizenship application quickly processed and granted, and passport also procured in less than 1 year. Fast forward a few years. Now it was 1st visitor record, valid for 1 year. Prior to expiration, days spent trying to navigate a messed up website to submit required information and apply for extension to stay. Then wait for a year or more, to finally receive another visitor record that was valid for 6 months. Rinse and repeat. All for our adopted preschooler to legally remain in Canada. Finally, after 5+ years, citizenship was processed and granted.

Canadian parents who were born OUTSIDE of Canada can now pass their citizenship to their kids who are also born OUTSIDE of Canada as long as the parents can prove they spent 3 years in Canada. What?? Why??

Canada is too nice and is being taken advantage of. This money spent should be charged to the people being deported if they don’t comply. We need to stop immigration 100% until Canada gets a hold on the people already here. One in one out !!!

In the US in 2025, ICE has deported half a million who are not in the US legally, and an estimated additional 1.5 million have self-deported, in some cases with government financial incentives. So 50k deportations might represent a comparably active effort for Canada, and 18k might be creditable for a Liberal government. But the effort sounds rather bureaucratic, and focused only on rejected refugee applications. I would want to know how many of these "deportations" are entirely on paper -- "your application has been rejected, please let yourself out at your earliest convenience." They spent roughly $5k per deportee, and that would cover air fare if the deportations were done privately, but adjudication costs money, and governments find many ways to make everything much more expensive. Also, if refugee claims can be judged false or inadequate, where are the efforts to determine whether "students" are really students? By the same token, the world is a dangerous place. I figure all those living in any of the many violent inner-city neighborhoods in the US have reason to fear for their lives. Similar facts are true of many millions around the world, and most of them would be rejected by Canadian immigration because they'd be safe if they simply moved to places they can't afford.

How many came illegal in the same time frame as well legal but yet money spent forlegal cases ! Only reason is our liberal government allowed the overflow so that we get fed up and allow them in with no fight.

I had two family members drive from Alberta to Arizona and they both spent a total of 30 seconds at the border. 99% of the time it will fine. Reports like this are designed to scare Canadians. Give me a break.

Mexican and Canadian visitors entering on a B2 visitor visa and staying longer than 30 days or traveling beyond 25 miles must apply for an I-94. Biometrics and photo is taken. It's been this way for many years. Really nothing really new here. Just enforcing the law that has been in place since 1996. Known as the 96 Act of the INA. I am a retired INS Inspector and spent 17 years on the San Diego/Tijuana land border crossing. I put my entry stamp on thousands of I-94's.

This is a slap in the face to someone who spent over a year preparing to come to Canada. I spent tume and effort and lots of money and sleepless nights to make a perfect application. I made sure I be 100% honest bcuz its mainly part of my religion. When i got accepted and came , I counted the hours in my part time and paid attention that i dont work any extra min over my 20 hours during studies, I did the same for my PGWP and PR application. Its hurts my soul that someone can be dishonest and gets a slot in the quota competing with people who are doing it like me. Its insulting. If those ppl who are not decent enough to submit an honest application and follow the rules they should not be allowed a spot in the quota. They should be removed and sent back to where they came from. Canada should bot tolerate frauds. We literally came gere for a better life , a safer life. By accepting frauds in, you're telling future applicanys to cheat thier way into here.
