And grape minor by running grooming gangs and looks brown doesn't mean. They are Indian. We Indians are loving, high tax paying, not indulging in crimes and peace loving people. Who mostly gets accustomed to other nations culture and also celebrate their festivals with the people of that nations. And we feel proud that whichever nation we go which provide us opportunities to give it back and it's society as much as we can. Just because mentioning India gets you clicks and it's easy to crack racist jokes about Indian online doesn't mean we the people are bad.

My family of 16 moved to Canada from Holland in 1952. My wife’s family moved from France in 16th century. Canada has always been a land of immigrants. Where we lived in East Vancouver were were surrounded by Italians. Richmond was nothing years ago and now is mostly Chinese and Asian. Foreigners are energetic and have cultural roots they are proud of why shouldn’t they. The First Nations people here were exploited in every way by the English and French followed by every other European country. So the video focuses on Indian immigrants slanted with negative biases. India is a very diverse and historically one of the most accepting of foreigners in the world exploited terribly by the British and their hero Churchill who let millions of Indians starve by robbing them. Does anyone interviewed in this video know any history. Please stop belly aching.

As a European, I am proud of Canada. Fight back even if it hurts a little bit. You are in the better position in the long run!

PM Trudeau is an example to follow and surely makes all Canadians proud for his reply to Donald Trump. I am European but also a big fan of the US; it is such a shame to see the light of the democracy fading away in a country which was once considered as one of the most consolidated world democracy. One question for all the US people reading this comment (with all due respect but is this what you mean by 'Make America Great again ?' ?

I'm European and I am so proud about Mr. Trudeau and his team. What an intelligent people. The speech is simple to understand but together it is so strong and says all that matters. Applause. 20-40 years ago US was seen as a dream country here in EU, every east European dreamed to live there, but not anymore. Today most would not go to US to live even if they are payed to do so. US reputation is in historical downfall.

As a Canadian, I want to say that we love our American friends and neighbours. We are proud to call you our closest ally, and our shared history and relationship is cherished by all Canadians. Until now. The fact that we are being treated worse than authoritarian threats like Russia or China is beyond insulting. We don’t deserve this. I'm European, but I lived in Canada for a couple of months and actually got to see Trudeau speak live in Parliament. He gave a very different speech that day - a eulogy. I did not think then I would ever hear this man this very obviously pissed off. He's like one of those teachers that don't need to shout to show their students they are in big trouble. I don't know if I would vote for him if I was Canadian, but I would certainly be proud of him right now.

I never see Indians or asian people begging for money , they are not homeless or self induced drug addicts , most of the immigrants pull their own weight , quit whining about how they dont belong here ,they didnt come here and kill the natives pillage and plunder the resourses, we learned absolutely nothing ( Europeans) coming from Europe , kill the natives and steal the land , oh so charming ,your proud of that ? Since about 2008, we've only been getting people from the developing world - China, India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, African states, Arab states, etc. And so today, Canada looks the way it does. And now it's not attractive to ANYONE. Even the Chinese and Indians have realized it's not worth coming over. A whole country destroyed over two generations. Well done, Harper and Trudeau. Well done! Honestly reading these comments & watching this video, I am proud to be from the USA... We truly give everyone a chance, everyone is welcome. All languages, colors, religions... it's funny how the media tries to make the U.S. sound racist. It is the most diverse in the world. Europeans love to act like they are supreme.... but in the end they are mostly all Nationalist & racist in their own ways. When I went to school in Germany, it was always funny how people had to make you remember you were American... in the U.S. we don't care.... we celebrate & are interested in your differences.

Awesome in addressing the elephant in the room, but this is nothing new in Canada. Over our extensive history of immigration our country has experienced chronic separatism, racism, exclusion and of course, bigotry. The *us-against-them* rhetoric is as old as humanity and not exclusionary to Canada. Euro settlers were racist against natives, then blacks, then Eastern Europeans, then Italians, Latinos, Asians, Arabs, Africans and so on. The blame? You called it. It's complicated, but failed economic policies are the root cause. People acting horribly does not help either. Having said that, as a proud Canadian here's a Pro-tip for any newbie emigrating to new pastures - anywhere in the world; Learn the new house rules and behave. Feel free to keep your customs, but respect your new home. Nobody is forcing anyone to stay so love it or leave it. Above all else, be respectful, a good human and a good neighbour. If you ever think things were better elsewhere maybe that's where you should be.

Here's the cleverly worded Title that means the opposite of what's happening. It combines legal and illegal immigration; combines people who want to BE CANADIAN with those who what to USE CANADA. Divide those groups out and most Canadians don't mind people moving to Canada who speak English (or French) or are wanting to learn, who want to get jobs and BE CANADIANS vs those coming in with NO interest in blending into the culture of Canada, who can't speak English (or French) and have no desire to learn. Phrasing the question is a classic leftist tactic. If you claim you're against it you're racist or a bigot. It's fine for someone to be proud of being from Asia, South America, Middle East, or Africa, but be proud and white of European descent makes you a terrible person? Gee double standards anyone?

Listen as a minority person who is proud of my heritage but grew up here with immigrant parents who were given refuge in Canada, I can understand immigration. But...its getting out of hand, most of them are from India, most of them have homes in India and often return there for long vacations, These are not refugees or a diverse spread of peoples coming here. I am not hateful in any way but sometimes you have to tell it like it is, A lot of these people are not adapting to the culture here, why? Because most of them are grown already and are used to their own customs, with an ever increasing population now living here they don't really feel the need to learn or adapt because there are less regular Canadians. When I was in school it was already pretty multi-cultural and diverse although yes in my area there are less asians and black people, we had a lot of European(Serbian/Romanian) in particular. Now I go to the store and it's like 80% brown/Indian people lol, even my neighbors, most have moved out and more indian families are moving in. My city is expanding into like a mini Toronto when we can't even handle it, people cant even find jobs, people need all this other stuff, Its just too many all at once, crime rates have gone up over the last few years, this doesn't help anyone, immigrants either.

Its like the west and their supporters are devolving and we all know why when it comes to how many people are on the streets now days or broken. \nMuslims haven’t done anything to humanity. \nWe never had a Democratic nations. I think you are making the right choice. After marrriage my husband got a job in a muslim country and so we moved from a European country. Allhamdolillah it was the best decison, my kids are proud to be muslim. Wheras my sisters kids who still live in the European country we grew up in are joining the pride parade.
