Some of the pronunciations are horrendous! And it's pronounced LEFtenant in Canada (and in the Commonwealth, or just about any English speaking place that is not US influenced).

Canadian Citizenship is handed out far too freely . If they want to come to Canada , welcome , BUT it should take 8 years to qualify to EARN Citizenship . Merit Points Earned , be taking after hour studies in Canadian History , Politics , and learning either or both of the founding languages French or English . I have a difficult time understanding a lot of what the man being interviewed is saying as he has a very thick accent and poor pronunciation. Subtitles might be very helpful in future videos with interview guests who speak English poorly (at least as far as pronunciation is concerned)! ?

As a Canadian the only thing that I would say jumped out as not Canadian was your pronunciation of Newfound Land (though I have heard more Canadians say aboat instead of aboot, but aboot will remain king ),. Being Atlantic Canadian (but living across Canada) myself it's always pronounced NewFIN Land, everything else that sounded wrong to me is just a mater of location, like being from Nova Scotian means I have a strong R (like a pirate) when saying words like are, car, or star (Edit. We Nova Scotians also like out silent T's, Martin is Mar'in, and can't is can'}.

The Canadian accent is great except for Arms’s pronunciation of Newfoundland. That’s a distinctly Irish pronunciation of Newfoundland.

Please learn how to pronounce the name of Canada’s most easterly province! “Understand Newfoundland”. Newfoundland rhymes with understand. It’s still boggles the mind how many Canadians do not know the proper pronunciation of our province’s name. I hope this helps. All the best.

Poutine = pooTEEN (or pooTIN if in Quebec). Newfoundland = noof n land. NOOF n land or noof n LAND - either one if born after 1970. Otherwise grand accent and pronunciations, lads!
