We are no in good shape economically to support other countries' economies. We need companies to come back to produce in the USA and those extra charges are an incentive to start producing again in the USA. After our economy is better, we can make new deals. \nAbout Fentanyl, it is funny that he said that it was all good and after that, saying just in the last months implemented all kinds of security measures. LOL \nHe speaks nice, but he is not a smart guy. Putting tariffs back to the USA makes it worse with Donald Trump. Donald Trump is a businessman, he can keep increasing the taxes and in the end, Canada will be hurt more than the USA. I suggest to peacefully open a negotiation with Trump, not to fight back at the same level... don't take it personally, it is just business.

I live in Nashville, TN USA. I am so sorry Canada is suffering due to Trump. I do not support this move on Trump's part. I never voted for him. Trump wants a 4.5 Trillion dollar tax cuts for the wealthy. He sees tariffs as a way to make up some of that money alone with huge budget cuts to many of our programs. Trump is an unreasonable person who only thinks about himself. I hope he will eventually be impeached. I do not blame Canada. I blame Donald Trump and the the Republican Congress.
