As a Canadian born citizen and somebody who lives only about 30 minutes from Brampton I can truly say that no Canadian is racist we're not anti-immigration anti-immigration that's not what this is the issue that Canadians currently have is that the people who come here from other countries don't adapt to our way of life and learn our culture and our values and that doesn't mean that you have to stop practicing your values or your religion all Canadians are asking for is respect for how we live in this country end the other biggest thing to that is to me extremely disrespectful if you've been here for more than three years you should be able to speak English like a Canadian and everything should be able to understand you and if you can't do that then that is just flat out disrespectful and rude because if I came to your country and after 3 years I still didn't speak your language or spoke it very poorly you would think the same thing you'd find it extremely rude so do any immigrants reading this understand we have no issue with you guys being here just adopt to our way of life our way of life and learn how to speak English

As an Indian living in India, I’d say it was your country’s government’s problem and mistake, similar to what the UK is doing now. Aside from government or policies, Indians immigrating to Canada is something that dates back to the British era, when Britain sent a group of Indians, specifically Sikhs, for security or labor work in Canada. This started the trend of Sikhs (turban-wearing ones) moving there. In modern times, the West was richer in terms of education and infra compared to Asia, which attracted many normal students and families immigrants also. Canada and America were built by immigrants, but now things are saturated, which I understand, and that’s where the resentment comes from. The majority Sikh state ( punjab) in India is still behind in development and job wise cooperation, and the historical pattern from the British era of moving to Canada for a better life has become a norm for many young people there. The close, collaborative nature of Sikhs—like a cousin in Canada inviting another cousin from India to come over, open a shop, work together, or share housing—is another reason many don’t hesitate to immigrate. These are some of the reasons behind mass immigration from India. Now, with saturation, the resentment toward immigration has grown. India itself faces issues with immigrants who live off our taxes, take rights meant for native children, and abuse policies, laws, or the environment. At least Canada has better-off immigrants—educated and contributing to the economy. While some may depend on taxes, most are hardworking and self-sufficient; otherwise, Canada’s economy would have collapsed by now. In end i can understand the hatred but you guys should stop this yourselves - not hunting them but prevent more.

Brezhnev must be weeping from hell and regretting his invasion of Afghanistan! The midterms are coming soon and if President Trump loses the house and senate, that tight rope could snap! And all those shock and awe executive orders etc. could come back to haunt him like a boomerang thumping his head.\n\nNever in my wildest imagination would I ever imagine Canadians harboring bad feelings towards the USA! I'm a latino straight from South America and I'm very happy. I REALLY don't get what you american liberals think of us. The only reason we are willing to leave our countries to live in the US is because you have a country where we can thrive. In order to go to the US, we go through the process and apply for visas and the green card. That's being honest. We don't want the country filled with illegal immigrants who jump the border. We left our countries in an honest way and we want the borders strong, so we can still have a country where we can thrive. Is it really hard for you to understand that? i am from hamilton and we are still very diverse here. yes brampton is quiet loaded with indians. i think what has failed is the requirements for immigration has dropped. i mean we use to have highly educated people come in but now the standards have dropped. so anyone with low standards can come walk in. pubjabi votes for jagmeet or trudeau and they are the group with highest crimes in india the state of punjab and there is a big drug and drinking culture that comes here. the minute our standards grow up with immigration requirements then we will get more educated bunch coming in. when we have greedy power hungry people run the country this is what happens. now people are fed up. the other day i was at freshco and some white guys started to lecture me and he openly admitted he is a racist. i pulled out my camera and started to record. he backed off but he could have done anything. he rude and stupid. i was also quiet upset. people were not like this and were more accepting. i can understand his frustration but he said openly he was racist and called me Fxxxxxxx indian etc... this is out of line. i also gave him a mouth full. i told him i have been here 35 years and his mood changed but its quiet disappointing how people react. its not safe or respectful. not sure where we are headed in canada.

The crazy thing is that some Canadians still have faith in Trudeau's party or just have too much trust in the government that they can turn this around. I want to see this country prosper but every few months I just keep on seeing new policies that the current government makes that just doesn't make sense.\n\nFew things to mention\n- No more investment in more roads by the federal government (I understand they want essentially to have citizens use cars less but they haven't provided a plan on how that money would be invested? I have yet to see trains being invested to connect cities such as High speed rail?)\n- Increased carbon taxes (most premiers were against this but they negged it on)\n- proposal and voting for Increasing taxes on capital gains (impact business that invest in Canada)\n- This is a positive thing but also happened because they polls went to the dump (increased investment in housing) and then decrease foreign student admission for future years ( I think this is where liberals say they have hope, but it's at a point where they messed it up and now are trying to fix it to make it look like they are fixing someone else's mess\n- The government is also just adding more policies we can't afford such as Dental plans for certain incomes, food in schools while the free health care doesn't really feel worth the taxes when the quality is not there. ( This is how they want to be the good guys when the conservatives need to cut costs to help resolve this mess)\n\nThe liberals are kind of like that guy in the family that takes a loan, pockets some money for corruption, then gives money away to charities saying I'm the good guy, and then doesn't know how to pay the loan back so asks for their family to help fund the debt.

I mean the guy isn't wrong. I work delivery and always have change. And he works directly for the pizza place so they should be giving him change at the start of the day. It's more on them than on the driver. But still absolutely no excuse for this customer's behavior. The pizza guy should have just walked away with the food and not taken the money after that abuse. His boss would understand I'm sure.

I don't understand why strict islam believers choose non islamic countries to settle in. There are so many countries in middle east, feels like half the countries have a muslim majority. Why not be comfortable living there. At the end of the day it is important to feel safe and also have a sense of belonging to where u settle down. How can a muslim ever feel that when prayers over loudspeakers are also banned. I feel like many muslims dont value their religion enough to settle in a muslim country and then when they face backlash in non-muslim country they start behaving like a victim. One cannot expect to be in an entirely different cultural environment and still force a different culture to their children. It restricts the children from integrating well in the country. When a parent from a different culture decides to raise children in a country which have a different culture, it is obvious that children will be exposed to this other culture. If that is not okay to parents, then they should not do children in a different country but rather in a country where they are blessed with their own culture. There is a choice for most people, and I am glad that you all chose it. Its beautiful to see people living in peace and in harmony with their religion. I love watching you all and hopefully you are able to encourage more muslims to choose an Islamic country to settle in, rather than being victims or having to fight in Non- Islamic countries due to western influence. The point is that the Arab world will not fight for Palestine. They don’t want to, they don’t want to take them as refugees either. Even if Palestinians don’t want to leave the land the Arabs can still come and fight Israel if they actually wanted. But no. Understand this Palestinians. The Arabs are not your friends. They are letting you guys die and that is worst than any war. To have so called “allies” and yet have none in times of need. ?

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. Taxes are high definitely and what I feel is you’re working to make someone else’s life easier. \n(P.S: people who’ve stayed in Canada will understand who I’m implying to)\nNo one wants to be your freind, scope of socializing is zero coz mostly it’s cold round the year so everyone hardly come out, especially in Northern provinces like Yukon, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.\nHealthcare is a joke. If you feel sick and not well and you wanna see a doctor be prepared to wait for hours and hours. I once had stomach infection and I had to wait 5 hours till someone could see me. I asked for painkiller at-least so I could bear the pain but they refused that as well. You might well see someone you love dearly and with whole heart die in-front of you and you could do nothing. (I’ve experienced it myself hence saying)\nYou’re a lone survivor who’ll always keep fighting. \nThe only person who can make money here is businesses and high paid jobs which are reserved to Canadians. People need to stop believing in this fake illusion and come only if they got a purpose here. The only reason why they’ll let you in the country is for money and once you’re in you’ll have to keep spending, doesn’t matter if you’re broke or whatever you have to.\nOnce I earn I’ll happily give up my PR status and go back to India as i very well know what the situation is how it’s gonna be in future.\nSo just one piece of advise to every middle class person like me, guys please invest and spend your money wisely coz we know how hard it is to earn and it’s high time Canadians start appreciating what immigrants like us do for them by burning ourselves day and night and start realizing that their past generation once came from some other part of the world as well and settled here. You can seek deep information about what you are going to do, information is everywhere guys. SEEK information. As a fully disabled American citizen with a child that doesn't even get $1,000 a month and there's no available housing at all where I live no waiting list to go on people on SSI disability don't get any extra housing help we're not offered separate housing are put on separate lists and low-income Able Body people or the migrants jumping the Border but I was born and raised here paid taxes and worked until my body literally couldn't anymore but I don't hear anybody bitching and screaming and crying about the fact that my son and I would be on the streets if it hadn't been for one of my family members stepping up and giving his housing after a lifetime restraining order issued during my pregnancy on my son's biological do do with domestic abuse situation. I remind people all the time and they hate hearing this s*** Jesus never had a house as a matter of fact Jesus basically live like a homeless person after he was an adult particularly and God made sure he was provided for. I mean did you all forget the night they came to take them away they were asleep in an Open Garden it wasn't like they popped up tents or glamper camper sites had some little Adobe type cabins they were sleeping in. As a matter of fact if you pay attention to most of the stories about Jesus and talking about him sleeping he does a lot of sleeping Outdoors. Remember God is a father that's how he's been represented and talked about in the Bible and Jesus was a man without a doubt no biological transgender question ability there. People need to remember that part of being a fair and loving. Is also teaching and discipline and these children following rules. I don't believe hearing God and Jesus telling all these people run from your countries and not have faith that I'm actually going to fix things for you and go run to somebody else actually go run to the United States where all those stuff is traveling through. I’ve watched the video and I’ve read many comments. My message it’s to immigrants, Canadians & everyone. Just be some patient to read for you to think reasonable after this. I’m sure you’ll start to be reasonable regarding Canada. I had a good life good job & a nice home in Ukraine. Due to the barbarian russian invasion my family & I fled the horrific situation in Kharkiv city. I was driving a mini bus of 4 families! Most are children. We’ve arrived to Europe. Crossing many countries (Poland, Czechia & Austria) we’ve arrived to the country leading the EU. In Poland & Czechia, we’re treat very good by the people. In Austria we got hardly a payed hotel where children could get a rest!!! We still didn’t understand why they don’t want to give us rooms despite we’re paying for our staying!!! In Germany, I believe that the government did its best. But the number of comers is huge! Of course many they got disappointed as happened with me! But I still understand and believe that really the government & people did theirs best. So fast I got a job! The social connection helped to introduce me to the company! But i was not hired, I still to express myself & my qualifications. The manager was understanding, so he accepted to communicate in English and to offer me the job in case if I am successful doing the job during the first week at the site. I had to change the machines menu into English. So the manager was very satisfied with my job and I got that job. The rent! You’ll get it only if you receive the blessing of each member of the county and a very strong social connections! The doctors! To make just a blood work for my son it took 45 days of waiting! To get the doctor appointment, you need that a German guy call and get you the appointment! Because when my wife called, the secretary said: we don’t speak English! But when my wife went for her visit she figured out they’re speaking English better than her!!! My son has an issue of hyperactivity, so they refused to accept him at school more than 3 hours a day! And he was excluded from the birthday parties of his colleagues aswell other events! Other Ukrainian children, they were just attending classes! Just a show! No body cares how help their integration! About, the taxes! The half of my income was going to the government! The money back?! Only 200 euros/ month for my kid. And nothing else. Nothing! To get a neurologist appointment for my son it was necessary to wait 3 months! Prices?! Everything expensive! Technology?! Not better than Canada at all. Bureaucracy, Canada is much less. Banking system, Canada much better. Where in Germany?! The best province in Germany “Munich”. Where people stoped long ago dreaming to purchase a home. Guys, Canada doesn’t through broken people as we were in camps! Where nothing is human there! Canada doesn’t enter you in cercle of hell bureaucracy just to get your kid into school! And if he needs a support he get it right away without any background that he’s not our!!! I got a good job in Canada; so fast. Without any social connections because simply I do not have any. I rent an apartment for my family, without to proof to the landlord that I’m the best guy in the world with a witnessed county about that!!! I want you to be sure, that I am not the lonely case. Just ask Ukrainians stied in Europe for a while before they move recently. Just ask them. I am not saying it’s a paradise or cons don’t exist. Just paradise doesn’t exist! And cons are everywhere. Just I want you to be fair about Canada. Please, be reasonable! The cons in Canada are not catastrophic, and it’s not difficult to fix them. It may take some time, but not difficult. Believe me it’s not about only Canada. The whole world is going a step back! I wish that my experience, helps to understand appropriately.

I understand. Process is not so difficult. But there are so many tiny details which is very important in your application.see it's like we all know how to cut bones and body etc. But still we go to the doctor because they are expert and they have done some studies in it. So its same thing with immigration companies.(Genuine companies) we can apply but there are chances to reject your application. And I am not an agent guys?? honest opinion.
