here in my city in ontario canada.. we are just flooded with immigrants. im talking muslim and indian.. theres so many of them here buying up properties and houses and getting shiny new cars that it doesnt even feel like canada anymore. they get benefits from the government while other people born in this country have to suffer. hell i walked into a tim hortons and everyone working there is either muslim or indian. i walk into a grocery store and it feels so awkward because i feel like im in another country half the time with all the foreigners there..

Not so much as a courtesy to leave a sorry note. - Stealthily walking the dog at night and not picking up after dog - Throwing the car's garbage towards the direction of the dustbin when driving past a bus stop in residential area. - No basic etiquette and manners of wishing, thanking or apologizing. Did you know you are supposed to greet/wish the bus driver when you board a bus? - Refusing to speak in English while in Indian populated city. - Brampton, even worse - trying to fake an accent when you suck at grammar - Partying loudly through the night with no regards to neighbors - Culture dumping - deliberately bursting crackers when the city has banned it, making agni kund in backyard without taking safety precautions, its a fire hazard for houses built of wood, loudly playing mantras/bhajans early morning when you are living in a Condo/apartment - Not caring to shovel snow off footpath - Not showering after you've cooked at home and smelling like curry in the office. How dare you bring up healthcare, you know how messed up our system already is. As a nurse, and I’m not saying that people do not deserve to come to this country, that is absolutely not what I’m saying. I’m saying that our healthcare system is burdened, how can we take care of other people when we can’t afford to even take care of anybody here at this point. Do you know how many patients I have who have immigrated to Canada and their elite 60s and 70s, can’t speak a word of English and didn’t contribute anything to our economy yet their family members leave them in the hospital because they can’t walk and talk the way they used to, and refuse to take them home.

Come & check out Hawkesbury Ontario. Used to be a small town with a few immigrant families here & there, which is totally fine. I worked since I was 14, (A lot of times evenings and weekends, several times, two jobs)! I am now 63, I got hurt at work! First I had to fight compensation for a year, ZERO $$$! Then I had to apply to get Disability Canada Pension because I can't physically work anymore.. (damaged back, head injury, I have to use a cane and knee braces to walk)! I spent my savings just surviving while being forced to fight for MY money from my own government for 5 years just to get a measly $300. a month! THAT'S IT! Luckily my spouse works , we paid off our house ten years ago! But, we still barely get by! Every person I speak to about my case with the government on the phone, can barely speak English and yell at me or are VERY impatient with me, because I can't understand THEM, they usually hang up! When I ask to please speak to someone IN Canada, they hang up, then I have to wait another hour to talk to someone else! (I went to 4 government funded agencies to see if I could possibly get a job working from home, because I have trouble getting out! All sent me somewhere else! One agency who is supposed to help disabled people in WPG, REES, the agent refused to talk to me or look me in the eye, * he got a supervisor to talk to me! Because he's Muslim and I'm Gay! They were continuously hostile/aggressive towards me without reason??? I volunteer at 2 different food banks , I've met TONS of people who have never worked a day in their lives, their family, parents, grandparents have never worked... EVER! Yet they have brand new trucks??? Still go to food banks? AND, several new Canadians who I've met, have never worked a day in Canada... Some with new cars??? Yet everyone else receives 10 times what I receive to live on??? I PAID TAXES ALL OF MY LIFE! We can't afford a car! Yet... I don't blame them! I would take it they offered! I blame our government (NDP, Libs, AND CONservatives) who don't give a crap about disabled and seniors in Canada! Or if you paid taxes all of your life , into a system that's supposed to help when you need it! ALL politicians in Canada just whore out their votes! I've volunteered for almost 40 years, also holding down jobs, helping others, I've never seen so may seniors and disabled people forced to access food banks and soup kitchens than the last few years! EVER! Disabled people have to constantly prove they are disabled enough to get kitchen scraps from sociopathic politicians who are over paid and under worked! Fees go up, taxes go up, housing goes up, property taxes go up, bus fairs go up, etc.. Services go WAY down! We can afford trillion$ in corporate welfare, but not help our own? When my daughter was 10 or 11, I took her and two of her friends to Vancouver for a day's adventure. I had an agenda the girls were not aware of but the friend's parents were. We started out in China Town and then worked our way to East Hastings where the druggies, drugged prostitutes, mentally ill, and homeless congregate. As we walked thru this mass of people on our way to Gastown I felt the kids wrapping themselves around me. All 3 of them were silent with very worried eyes. We then went to lunch and discussed what we had just seen. The girls are now 39 years old and still remember this adventure and still talk about how it impacted them.

I am so sorry, as a native Canadian, that Indians are feeling attacked. It is difficult, no matter your ethnic background, if you are not Indian to even acknowledge these issues because people are afraid of being labelled as racist so I thank you for bringing this topic up. Please understand this is the result of runaway immigrations with no real screening. The government quadrupled immigration, hundreds of percents increase in students, asylum seekers, and illegal entries, even though there was already a housing crisis, and a completely predictable doctor shortage due to aging out. Covid was just starting to get under control but many still needed treatment and BOOM, the population went from 30 million in 2014 to over 40 million in a decade, most of it in the last 3 years. We native Canadians are scratching our heads, we don't understand what the Liberals are trying to accomplish but to create suspicion and racism between groups of people -- divide and conquer? Maybe...but ultimately it is a complete lack of planning! Still 99 percent of Canadian born do not blame Iindividual ndians for this. I've lived and worked with Indians my entire life of over 60 years. There are now Indian gangs, particularly Punjabi gangs because of lack of oversight, and while they are small they are constantly committing crimes, selling drugs, shooting people all in the last few years. I hear gun shots nightly in my ethnically mixed neighbourhood, and we are all afraid to walk at night. Unfortunately the people arrested are mostly from continental India. Some have a political agenda that has to do more with India than Canada, so they recruit young Indo-Canadian children from good families and tell them they are being oppressed, and next thing these kids are acting as drug mules and enforcers, being told that they are fighting systemic racism. As for dancing and music, I love the cultural events, we are happy to see and even take part in Indian cultural events. IWhen I do hear people blaming India and Indians it breaks my heart too! Hopefully together we can fix this. Our governments are at odds, and I hate this -- they need to respectfully talk and work this out.
