Thailand's here and I might be minority in my country to not support Trump. But it's very relief to see decent and reasonable leader who speaks out for his country. I'm totally with Canada ❤

Justin Destroyed Canada with his unending foolish spending, taxes and corruption,, said he would step down, shut down the government instead and continued acting as Prime Minister while opposition has been muted. He is not a legitimate leader and his words are empty. He is a drama teacher with a script and does the only thing he knows how. He acts. And now he's acting like the tough guy and that he cares about Canada when after nine years in power, it is clear he didn't. Time to get rid of the globalist and all the others. He is not a decent man.

Red state American, former Republican in recovery here. This is the only world leader I listened to today, and time well spent. Bring it like you're getting it, Canada. Decent America is with you. The better you fight back, the sooner we Americans can get our country back.

I have been able to visit Vietnam, Nigeria(office work) & Bali . Not much compared to others I agree. But the behaviour of Indian Language speaking Tourist in these countries is really really horrible. No matter how much these sold out News Anchor or our leader peddle false narrative that Indians are respected our passport etc etc. Indians are least preferred cause of the attitude issue. Even Nigeria whom we mock cause of look and color are more decent than us. Indian deserve this.

Wow how many people hate immigrants, true they are very different from us but do u really think u could live in the only decent part of the world without any ripercussion? \nWe slay them, we enslave them, we are currently use they resources, maybe it's time to pay the bill.\nIt's a normal think came in europe to a better life, problem is money and politicians.\nIf european politcs were intelligent, they will stop sending armies to ukraine and bring their own armies stopping immigration in a decent way like helping refugees and their homeland but hey when the world chase money why a nation should chase valours?\nSo bussiness is the world leader and bussiness doesn't complain about humanity .

The real problem is the middle class and small businesses in Canada. I was a PR in Canada and still couldn't get a decent job because of two major issues. First - language. I went to look for a job in so many places but couldn't get it because I couldn't speak their native language, like Polish, Arabian, or Chinese. Second - I asked someone if I could get a govt. job near my house and everybody said NO. Why because the place had a Polish guy in charge, and he is only going to hire his family or friends who are Polish. So doesn't matter if you get the best leader known to man, Canadian economy is doomed if you don't do anything about the middle class system and non-English speaking immigrants.

Some of the stats cited here are straight up wrong or... creatively employed, and there's a lot of contradictory information and the typical conservative 'the sky is falling' sensationalism and misattribution. That said, the bas supposition isn't wrong. The bubble we've been sitting on for 20 or so years has completely burst. As someone born and raised in the Toronto area, it's impossible for me to afford to own a house or apartment here on a teacher's salary. Even rent pushes me to the limit unless I want to live in a... less than nice area. I'm living hand to mouth and enjoying the benefits of living in a 'developed' country less. Here's why:\n\n1. Wages aren't really even close to keeping up with the cost of living. The first tick upwards a bit. The second just keeps rising on the back of housing, food, amenities, and inflation: the four horsemen.\n\n2. Our grocery cabal ruthlessly raise prices whenever we look away, and their lobbyists are all ensconced within the leadership of our three major parties, particularly the Conservatives (so if anyone thinks that electing them will help, they're in for a nasty surprise).\n\n3. We're experiencing 'labour shrinkflation': increasing duties are downloaded onto workers and more is expected: more productivity, more availability (almost 24/7 in some jobs), and higher qualifications. Meanwhile, real wages are decreasing relative to living cost, more positions are 'contract', which is basically a way for employers to not have to give you benefits, and job security is tenuous for a lot of people.\n\n4. Houses are being bought by investors and not owners. Foreign entities are money laundering. The wealthy upper crust of high population countries are moving here and buying property because Canada is (still) more safe and stable and less repressive than their home countries in most cases. \n\n5. There's a cycle beginning: as people are squeezed and forced to spend more on 'needs', they spend less on eating out, entertainment, and other 'wants'. These are significant drivers of the service economy and they're being hit hard. So, what can they do? They can let go of workers or lower product costs to remain profitable, but they their quality declines and, in a market where people are pinching every penny and looking for quality for their dollar, they're less likely to go back. They can raise their prices, of course, but then they price people out completely and their profits still tank. I went to a decent steakhouse for my dad's 60th last week. I can't remember the last time that I went to one before that. \n\n6. Our politicians and news cycles focus on the most niche and irrelevant stuff because it'll stoke anger and get tongues wagging. This carbon thing is almost a non-issue, but our conservative leader is harping on about it like it's singlehandedly the death of the Canadian economy when it's a drop in the bucket. Trudeau focuses on 'equity' measures, hoping for a bit of cheap good press, while his efforts are, for the most part, just window dressing and the issues, while meaningful, are often not of paramount importance or even applicable to the vast majority of the people who elected him. Meanwhile, the middle class is pretty much evaporating as he speaks. The NDP keep talking about this in a pretty real way, for what it's worth, but Jagmeet Singh is giving off an increasing vibe of just being another fat cat politician beneath his rhetoric these days. Also, third-party trolls and screeching conservatives try to bury him on social media whenever he speaks... a lot more than other leaders as well, oddly. I wonder why? Oh yeah, the Greens exist and there's Quebec and the conspiracy theory party.\n\n\nUltimately, what we're experiencing is the revenge of the feudal system. Instead of paying rents to your lord and doing labour on the land for him whenever commanded to, you pay rent to your landlord now and go to work even when you're sick or when work hours are over because you have no union protection or are working 'on contract'. Unless we want to live in the armpit of nowhere, 95% of us are going to be wage slaves living hand-to-mouth, not owning our own property, and working to please our corporate overlords if current trends continue unchecked. While some of Canada's problems are unique, I fear that most aren't. As for me, I'm headed to the 'armpit of nowhere' where I can at least have a ghost of a chance of affording life.

Who in the hell would now want to immigrate to Canada ? Outrageous housing costs which consume most of your income . One has to work at least two to three jobs just to try to keep from completely drowning economically . A healthcare system which is on life support . It is next to impossible to get a doctor . Emergency waits times at hospitals can range from 4 to 24 hours . Traffic from hell in all of the major cities .... particularly Toronto , Montreal and Vancouver . The crushing cost of living . A political leader who is a complete fool who has basically destroyed the country in just 8 years . As if all of this wasn't bad enough ...... 5 months of winter from hell . Living in Canada is now an extreme struggle in every way imaginable . One will always struggle . One will always work like a dog . One will very likely fall into extreme debt in Canada just to survive . One has to pay outrageous taxes on their income leaving them with about 50% of what they actually earn after they have paid all of the combined taxes on everything that they buy or services that they use . Forget about ever being able to save money . Incomes are about about 35% less than other advanced than those in other advanced countries for the same skilled job . One will never own a home . One will never be able to start a family . One will always freeze in the winter . Life in Canada has become an absolute hell . The Canadian dream is as dead as dead can be . It is no longer a country where one can earn a decent living , own a home and live a good life . On top of all of this it has an authoritarian government which keeps passing new laws to reduce free speech and civil rights .

Sorry this is not the politicians fault . It isnt the immigrants fault .\n All you half wit morons who voted for the Liberal party are 100% responsible .\n Let me be clear , the Liberals used to have decent leaders, who were excellent stewarts of the economy .\n You voted in a non qualified clueless Prime Minister , simply because he looked like your favorite reality tv show star .\n He gave you lots of free things with no way to pay for any of it .\n You may not like Pollievere, you may not agree with him . This is horrible, but all you idiots saying they need to fight their own country need to learn history. read about the banana republic and how the US fucked all these Latin countries. Then read about the countless rebellions that started to try and bring a decent sense of order. But even those become corrupt. \n\nEthically, It actually is our responsibility to help them fix it. Its a big problem since professionals who earn a relative big income like doctors, lawyers and engineers end up moving to the US, where they can earn multiple times more after taxes and other general living necessities like rent are paid. Even bigger problem is that theses people are the taxpayers that pay more than they receive in services.\n\nThe local corporate leaders are a small oligarchy that influences policies to keep wages low while the cost of living skyrockets. Note that for the following example, I do not criticize immigrants, when you are here, you're one of us and in the same boat, and I'd fight side by side any day for a better future for all of us. The immigration minister recently announced that they will let in more immigrants in order to reduce the increase in wages, which did not even follow inflation. Its depressing and alienating when your job sector gets flooded by more workers when it already underpays and has hard competition for decent jobs.\n\nPeople are great no matter where they come from, but the policies makes coming here quite the scam. Its better than a lot of places, but the average canadian is getting poorer and poorer and the ceiling of success is very low too.

As for multiculturalism, is a political word and means what ever politicians want it to at the time. I believe in humanity, I grew up in Manchester and lived their until my forties. Now having lived all over the world I can honestly say that all people are pretty much the same. We all want the same things and most people are decent. The racists I have come across are always pretty thick and usually being manipulated by some group leader who just like religious leaders. just want power. .
