All I can say is, THANK YOU President Donald Trump for shutting down the borders, I don’t want these people in the USA, why are they coming here and leaving their SHIT hole country?

Well, dear Americans, many smart people warned you, but you didn't want to listen and did everything to ensure Trump's political survival and voted for him a second time. \nIt is very clear what Trump wants to do to the USA, and has already done to some extent! He wants a presidency like the Russian, Chinese and North Korean presidents have. \nA presidency with unlimited power, no Congress, no Senate, no independent courts.\nI can only hope, the world can only hope, that there are still enough Americans who will fight against this.

I am a Canadian. We do not want conflict with USA. What we want is for our new leader to be voted in - and then work things out for trade. President Trump is aware of what we have suffered. Canada has stood firm.....the truckers in our capital....brought a siege all over the world for freedom. I do not want the tariffs.....that will hurt us both. But I did not like Trudeau's speech.....it was rude. It does not represent us as a country.

At this present time and in this current governmental climate, I do believe that changing a leader now would hurt Canada. Trudeau has first hand experience and has dealt with Trump and his tantrums, this isn’t Trudeau’s first rodeo. I am concerned with Trump antics another leader could be influenced with charm and falsehoods which Trudeau has already confidently stood up against.\nAnd for a moment, let’s think a little bit further out of the box. This isn’t about fentanyl as Prime minster Trudeau pointed out. This is about making life for Canadians extremely difficult and chaotic. It’s to bring division between the United States and Canada, and with Trump joking and jokes are not jokes sometimes they become reality Canada being a 51st state. Trump Being friends with Putin, with Russian ships in our Arctic Ocean think on this for a minute. Putin decided to invade Ukraine to expand his make believe empire. President Trump and Vladimir Putin working together. Hasn’t Trump said he wants Canada to be part of the USA and wants our Prime Minister to be a governor how insulting. How very insulting to the Canadian people who not just live in Canada, but are also united Canadians.

Well said. I love the USA, I have relatives who live there and in all the years of a beautiful relationship with the people of America I have never seen this situation. Mr. Trump you seem to want to conquer and divide relationships at any cost, even with people who care about you. You sabotage yourself and those who are loyal to you. I'm not sure if you understand the implications of your decisions. But I will say respectfully, there are no winners in a trade war, nor is it you that has the final say on the worlds outcome. This is God's world not yours and not ours. I'm really disappointed to see American people and Canadians hurting because of whatever the point of all of this means. But Canada is strong and we will stand up for our country. The American people are strong and they were strong before you became the President. Working together, we can take care of each other for our families and our country.

Hey Canada/Trudeau if you don’t want the tariffs from President Trump then remove your limiting factors on American goods to equal the playing field! Maybe these tariffs and our President may finally get you to allow into Canada as much as we do into the USA! Trying to play a game of tariff against President Trump will not do Canadians any good. This is part of the reason you won’t be the tyrant dictator you once enjoyed being. Not to mention the Canadian government should be doing a lot better on stopping the cartels and their POS fentanyl from coming into their country as well as across into the US!

The USA president Trump wants everything to be manufactured and sourced locally from the United States of America. He knows what happened during COVID-19 and what problems the world experienced because of a global supply chain. Now while it doesn't really make sense with Canada who is right next door the Canadians were given the opportunity to integrate into the USA so there could be some motive in that. With 'great power' comes 'great responsibility'. You only 'give responsibility' to someone who has the wisdom and expertise and understanding in order to both 'hold' and 'govern' wisely and without fear or favor. Maybe its time for others in positions of authority in other institutions to step in and 'take control'. You would never let a child drive a super car on the highway so how much 'damage' has to happen before a world leader is not 'held to account' and his 'hands removed' from the steering wheel before there is a motor accident so large that the freeway is rendered unless and has to be totally shut down your. You cannot have total power in the hands of individuals who apparently do not possess the necessary skills knowledge and experience and wisdom that is required to fulfil the role they were elected to fulfil. A person with the mind and mentality of a child apparently is not a fit person to be running the economy of any nation. Im mexican, and all this makes me sad, cause president Trump make American citizens to believe we are all criminals, bad people, that all of us wants to go to USA. And that is not true, a lot of us are happy living in our country, work here, and be with our loved ones here in Mexico. My Canadian son and his girlfriend, both in their early 30's, have visited the USA many times. Each time they go, I worry constantly that something bad will happen to them (shot, injured or sick). My brother and his wife have a condo in Florida and I worried that during COVID they'd catch it and die because of DeSantis' batshit crazy policies, making Florida a cesspool of virus. Now he wants to turn it into Gilead. His wife clearly desires to become Serena from The Handmaid's Tale. Too bad because I used to love Florida. I'm also worried sick that if Trump is elected President again, he'll somehow cause such a catastrophe the like of which has never been seen before, and it will affect Canada too.
