I went to college there, first time i've ever been a minority. I saw like 3 other white dudes my whole 3 years there, it was crazy man. They got whole neighbourhoods and zip's together ;-;

The birth rate in Canada is 1.3 per couple. In 1961 it was 3.1 per couple. Coincidentally, this was the same time as the availability of the first birth control pill. It’s been on a downward trend ever since. Populations can’t sustain themselves. Most western countries have the same problem. So we immigrate, and the countries with the highest birth rates will eventually take over the countries with the lowest it’s a sad reality.

You know, Brampton even before trudeau was becoming basically little India, and most Canadians just said whatever let them have it, we kinda accepted it. But after trudeau with mass immigration and them taking over other cities its when it became a little too much and started to take over canadian culture. I had a friend visit from the u.s for the very first time, and we did some sight seeing, you know going to places around ontario that tourists would check out, went to niagra falls for the first time in maybe 10 years man it changed. It was 90% Indian people. She noticed it right away but didnt say anything, i said a lot of indians huh? and she said yeah didnt think canada was like this. When you think Canada its always been mulicultural, you just think of all ethnicities and people of different cultures but at the end of the day everyone was Canadian and they assimilated. Now you dont think of a multicultural country you think of an indian country thats changing the canadian culture and way of life and not in a good way. Identity is being taken away and it needs to stop. Canada needs to take notes from Poland before its too late. Poland closed their doors and guess what? economy went up, crime rate went down, people are happier. Canada opened the doors, crime rate shot up, economy crashing, more homelessness then ever and so on. Not saying its specifically Indian people, its the amount coming in and how they adopt canadian culture but instead bring their culture and trye changing the country to fit them rather then fitting in with an already established country and culture.

Happiness and joy are largely natural e. first time you hold your baby child/grandchild/niece/nephew etc. No one ever taught you to feel what you did in that moment. Hate and bigotry are learned. From family, school, friends, TV (hello Fox News), internet (influencers, comments made by others). Hatred and bigotry also require work and effort. To maintain your hatred, you need to apply an effort. Like building a fire. Once it begins to start, need to add sticks, wood etc. Not the case with happiness and joy

This is why I desperately wish there was an actual Libertarian party to vote for in elections! There is a party, but they have not gotten enough signatures to be able to run yet, I don't even know if there is an office or representative in Ontario right now! I wish! Their policies (on paper) seem great, and geared more towards a 'Canada first'/'Canadians First' approach. They touch on a lot of topics and there seem to be a lot of things they want to change! But a government is still a government, they will be motivated by money regardless of any good intentions they may have. So if and when things change, WE NEED TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE! We as the citizens have the power to change things for the better! It's just unfortunate that I see so many people getting pushed down or ignored or hated because they are speaking their mind. Remember, Canada dosen't have laws like the US, our freedoms aren't as protected nor do we have the same freedoms they do (like owning and protecting your own property, or self defense!) We as people need to start being honest and expressing things instead of being terrified of the backlash (of which there will be in these times). The only way we can make progress is by deciding to get out of our comfort zones and standing for what is right! For the freedoms and protections we deserve! To make a future worth living for us and our children! It will not be easy, but when is change ever easy? I hope that one day I won't be terrified of the thought of bringing a life into this world and country. I hope I can be stable enough to be able to give my future children a decent life. But right now? I would never want to have children, things are too unstable and I don't want to bring a child into this country and force them to live a terrible life they never asked for! I desperately want to be able to keep hoping for a better future, a better country, and people who can enjoy their lives instead of constantly worrying and stressing about everything. I hope some can consider looking into the Libertarian party as well! They may be small right now, but they seem to be wanting to right the wrongs that have occured.

I worked since I was 14, (A lot of times evenings and weekends, several times, two jobs)! I am now 63, I got hurt at work! First I had to fight compensation for a year, ZERO $$$! Then I had to apply to get Disability Canada Pension because I can't physically work anymore.. (damaged back, head injury, I have to use a cane and knee braces to walk)! I spent my savings just surviving while being forced to fight for MY money from my own government for 5 years just to get a measly $300. a month! THAT'S IT! Luckily my spouse works , we paid off our house ten years ago! But, we still barely get by! Every person I speak to about my case with the government on the phone, can barely speak English and yell at me or are VERY impatient with me, because I can't understand THEM, they usually hang up! When I ask to please speak to someone IN Canada, they hang up, then I have to wait another hour to talk to someone else! (I went to 4 government funded agencies to see if I could possibly get a job working from home, because I have trouble getting out! All sent me somewhere else! One agency who is supposed to help disabled people in WPG, REES, the agent refused to talk to me or look me in the eye, * he got a supervisor to talk to me! Because he's Muslim and I'm Gay! They were continuously hostile/aggressive towards me without reason??? I volunteer at 2 different food banks , I've met TONS of people who have never worked a day in their lives, their family, parents, grandparents have never worked... EVER! Yet they have brand new trucks??? Still go to food banks? AND, several new Canadians who I've met, have never worked a day in Canada... Some with new cars??? Yet everyone else receives 10 times what I receive to live on??? I PAID TAXES ALL OF MY LIFE! We can't afford a car! Yet... I don't blame them! I would take it they offered! I blame our government (NDP, Libs, AND CONservatives) who don't give a crap about disabled and seniors in Canada! Or if you paid taxes all of your life , into a system that's supposed to help when you need it! ALL politicians in Canada just whore out their votes! I've volunteered for almost 40 years, also holding down jobs, helping others, I've never seen so may seniors and disabled people forced to access food banks and soup kitchens than the last few years! EVER! Disabled people have to constantly prove they are disabled enough to get kitchen scraps from sociopathic politicians who are over paid and under worked! Fees go up, taxes go up, housing goes up, property taxes go up, bus fairs go up, etc.. Services go WAY down! We can afford trillion$ in corporate welfare, but not help our own? Seniors can't afford to live in their homes anymore! YOU'RE WELCOME for paying for YOUR golden pensions pig politicians, and NOT helping us when we need it! POS!

The biggest problem is they come to our home to escape a hell in their own country. But then they try to turn our country into the one they ran from. They try to change the ways we who were born and raised here are aloud to live our lives as we always have. My first job ever was tim hortons. Now im watching teens unable to gain independence unless their parents i Know someoneone who can hire them meanwhile no one can understand the person taking their order at tim hortons...Canada is to expensive now and we dont have the means to support these people anymore. Its costing us more with what they have done to our economy . Some of these people have zero care for human life ether they drive like A holes and cause accidents that cost lives. Canada is no longer a welcoming happy country. We are exhausted from busting our ass to keep a roof over our head leaving us unable to afford other things even food. Its not that they are all awful people (some are) but we CANT support them anymore we need to be able to support ourselves again !! The last 2 prime ministers are also to blame in reality. As an albertan i dont even care about anyone east of manitoba because they chose to vote this reality to life. I wanna see western canadas money stay on the west end of this country. There is a canadian divide and its time to seperate so not every canadian has to suffer for the stupidity out that way

There is a video on how a Canadian citizen should leave Canada and come back as a refugee new immigrant! It's sickening because the government our tax paying dollars are paying each immigrant $224.00 per day to be housed in hotel room and food etc?! I find cab drivers muslems mostly very ignorant and rude talking in their language while on the job behind the wheel must add yes ppl driving you to your destination and not to mention do these.ppl stop to think maybe your clients passengers get annoyed listening to that on their ride to where ever,???? NO NO NO!! YOUR WIFE, MOTHER, FATHER OR CHILDREN WHOMEVER SHOULD NOT BE BOTHERING YOU WHILE YOU ARE ON THE JOB WORKING?! When I go to work as a nurse do you see me talking to my spouse or family members while I am helping my clients eat or bath and get dress, NO WAY YOU WOULD BE FIRED!!? Us Canadian citizens need to stand together and our tax paying money we should have a say in where it should be going not to ppl who are not from our country!?

American here that has extensive relationships in Canada. We don’t want this tariff war but the tariffs being implemented first by the Trump administration on behalf of US were punitive for violating USMCA and tied directly to the border defects. This was made known in advance and you repeated empty promises. Take your medicine and get well fast. Instead of doing that, you are taking an action that will beget reciprocal tariffs. Implement $30B and Trump will add $30B….add another $125B later and Trump will add another $125B. Heads up….America wants good partners and looks forward to being past this as well. In the meantime, we are prepared to pay more (or live with less) as we get back up on our feet. We have a lot of internal healing and cannot carry any other countries right now. Not sure if that was ever a good thing for either of us. Time to heal our broken ways ….sorry if you got used to our last administration being feckless.

As a Brit... I've been to Canada many times (the first time as a soldier in 1981) and of late in the likes of BC, I've fished there. Love, love, love Canada and the Canadians. I've been to America too, and I love it there also. And while I'm not always a good judge of people...I flatter myself I'm a VERY good judge of character. And oh man, have they ever got it wrong with this Trump fella. Now there's a bloke I would not like to find myself in a combat situation since he'd likely shoot me in the back and run the other way. As an American, we don’t want this either. I don’t understand what and why to be honest. All I know was in November 2024 I woke up to the worst feeling I have ever had. First time woke up ashamed and shame and fear to live in the United States. I never in my 60 years thought that hatred hiding behind Christianity would prevail. As an American at the last years of my life I want to say to Canada, Mexico , Puerto Rico, Ukraine and all our European allies, I am sorry we let you down.

Yet before you help them, you help an outsider before you help your own who is poor, and starving citizens, crying out for help, and many who are homeless, and starving in their own county! How backwards ?‍♀️?. Glad we are finally telling countries to take care of their own, and we will take care our own. You wouldn’t expect anyone to take care of your children, it is your responsibility. The same goes for citizens. We shouldn’t be funding everyone else life, and investing in them , while our own are hurting, and starving. Before you support freeloaders, look into your own life, and see if it’s something you need. It’s finally time we are focusing on our citizens, and trying to meet their needs. They are our responsibility. We should have never taken the focus off of them. Let that country take care of their responsibilities, and we take care of our because our citizens need help. I'm a Finn living in Paraguay. My husband and I lived in Germany for eleven years until we moved to Paraguay two years ago. Life is good even though financially it's different than in Germany. However, we have built a house, we have some land, two dogs, a cat, and some chickens. We have a car and food. It's more than I ever dreamed of. We strongly feel that we have a future and it's lovely.\n\nOne thing one must keep in mind: part of your first home country and your past will always be in you. That creates a process of mourning you have to go through. And the longer you are away the greater becomes the difference between you and your own country because you both are changing but to the different directions. You realize that there's no going back. I’m an international student, from my perspective it seems like the government can’t keep themselves from messing with the economy, basically crippling it by regulations, making the market unable to take advantage of the increased labor supply.\n\nI have spent almost half a million in Canada, which includes tuition, living cost, and starting a business which now employs two Canadians. But because I spent one term as a part time student, I have became ineligible for PGWP, which means I have no way of staying in Canada through my own agencies.\n\nThat is a slap in the face for immigrants whove come here to settle, the fact that I have positively contributed to the Canadian economy than many Canadians ever have, while withdrawing absolutely zero from public benefits, now if I buy a house here yall will drop on me a 50%+ capital gains tax and then kick me out, why would anyone want to invest in Canada? I’m seriously considering just moving to Florida because of all these. \n\nWhat happened to the good old days when you can come here with nothing, integrate into the community, and then become Canadians? Almost none of the forefathers of Canadians had to contribute this much into the society first to become Canadians, they stayed because their peers wanted them to stay, and the market was free to adjust to the labor supply and housing demand without government interference.\n\nWhat I see is not an immigration problem, it’s a big government problem, Canadians have become addicted to the government making decisions for them. The government has its grip on every aspect of Canadian life, it has hindered the responsiveness of the economy so much, that it cant even pivot to take advantage of free capital (int’l students) and third world labor rates (temp foreign workers).

There are about 2 million estimated Americans living in Mexico currently. They may be forced out too in response. I am a mechatronics technician who has finished an apprenticeship this year. Ausländeramt gave me the shittiest visa ever for two years. Like its really hard to change a company in first two years. Bascially you have to ask for permission Ausländeramt which lets Agentur für Arbeit controll the request. Then they wait for the answer and maybe a lot of time later they will write me back. So a potential positon may be away at that time. I like I wrote a request in June 2024 and still havent got the answer. Great, isnt it?

I am from the Balkans. I have been studying, living and working abroad since I was 18. Germany was the 7th country I moved to and the first country ever I felt unwelcomed at work- because of my Balkan origins. I must say I was rather shocked because being a very open, international professional with lots of experience, I thought something of this kind would never be even imaginable. However, outside of my work field I gained many german friends pretty quickly - friends for life ( no competition here, haha). 10 years later, I am still here and the situation changed to better - a lot. A mix of getting trust, learning the language, and getting more international colleagues. I am totally thankful to the health system - they saved my life. If I stayed in my country, I would have had serious health issues. I am thankful to the democracy, freedom of expressing, schooling system( so much better than in my times in Yugoslavia), salaries, and many other things Germany gave me. I am living a good life, best life any of my family members had in generations. I would like to stay here as long as it feels good for me and my family. Having a german father to my kids is however the strongest link to me feeling home in Germany -having a local within your family makes it all a lot easier.
