I certainly hope it doesn’t seem as though all Americans agree with what Trump is doing because many of us certainly do not. He doesn’t understand what the word diplomacy means unfortunately. With inflation rates rising, a trade war is one of the worst possible scenarios, and I agree with the Prime Minister. There are no winners here. Everyone gets hurt.

México nowdays has a efficient, knowledgeable. and honest president that wanted to have fair trade agreements with Canada and the United States ...however the US government choose to fight and blame the neighbors to the north and south by braking every single rule of the free trade among the three countries ......CHINA , CANADA AND MEXICO ....oviously will retaliate the same way and Definitely the US citizens will be the most hurt ....mexico always have been resilient from wars. As a European having lived in both Canada and the United States for prolonged times, my view is this: Canadians are basically the same as Americans but with Health Care. They have a common heritage and history and this is like a brother turning evil and hurting its siblings. Trump is smart? I don't think so, he comes across as a low IQ individual born with privileges, heck he has been bankrupt what is it four times? Right now he thinks he is making America Great again but instead he is on a path to bankrupt even the US Economy. Wouldn't it be funny (and not in a comical sense) if in fact Trump causes the 3rd world war with his actions instead?

We have free trade with the EU and Pacific nations. For any US companies who find themselves caught up in tariffs for their export markets, consider setting up your export shop here, to keep your Canadian customers, and continue to have access to European and Asian markets under free trade agreements that are respected, and operate independently of any decision made by President Trump. Businesses need predictability and stability, and your neighbors to the north can provide that to all of your export markets.

Fun fact: Columbia is where we get a major chunk of our coffee from, so now our coffee, our fuel for working Americans will get more expensive if this is a prolonged tariff! We're just hurting ourselves with these outrageous tariffs because all of these countries (even Columbia) can just sell the supply of whatever the US is putting a tariff on to other countries like in Europe or Asia, or could just put retaliatory tariffs on us, leading to a possible trade war over FUCKING COFFEE.
