There is a very dangerous and disturbing trend happening where openly racist people are being praised as "honest"! It's one thing closing your borders to immigrants but it's a whole other thing trying to institutionalise racism! Seeing people praising the bike guy as "honest" is quite frankly very disturbing and sad!

To be honest, the border is wayy too easy to cross. I literally crossed it by accident while fishing in New Brunswick, had no frkg idea until some Americans came by and noticed my accent😭

it's mostly Toronto and the big cities you'd be pretty dumb to think we're going to give up everything to people who can't even speak english? just feels like overload when you open borders, but honestly these immigrants are ubering us around, getting our food and groceries for us. Canada can suck it. This isn't a trade war, this is America being done with catering to everyone. If it's a trade war it's only because of how those like Canada are taking it. Thanks for making it clear what you did right but not making it clear on what the US administration wanted from you that you said no to that caused the tariff implementation. It's possible you miss 50% of your illegal border crossings into the u.s. since so much of your border isn't secured. The 1900% increase in illegal crossing in the past few years doesn't look very good. It's dumb to assume you did everything right and then the u.s. just randomly decided they'd continue with the tariffs for fun. Be more honest and say where you put your foot down so the American public can better understand what is going on.

Every country should be responsible for their own goods. The day we start relying on other countries for what we need we're in a heck of a mess. Because China couldn't get our merchandise to our plant we had to shut down for almost a month. We messed up sending some of our work to China. After this we got everything in the US. Cheaper prices are not the solution. Cheaper labor is not the answer. Trump is concerned about the drugs coming into our country and since the borders are affected these drugs will be coming into our country many other ways. President Trump is doing this for the drugs taking over this country.

I would say if you stop the flow of drugs into our country like Trump asked you to do and tighten up the border. While certainly eloquent, he is not being completely honest. They will not take Palestinian refugees for the same reason Egypt will not open the border crossing and Jordan keeps the Palestinian refugees in camps rather than integrating them into Jordanian society. Honestly it sucks for Canada.. I mean this country has probably everything any country could wish for. From surface to ressources to access on both side to the two main oceans, having a border with the first world power (it can be a problem but a good thing as well) and while climate isn't always the best, it should he a paradise living there.\nAs a French with what I believe is the best and most generous medical service in the world, to think that Canada spends MORE than us and have it a lot worse is crazy.. If you are here for like 15-20 + years, then things might be different for you. Australia is like middle of no where, but cost of living is not as high as Canada, and wages are higher. Although, I have enjoyed trips to beautiful areas of the US, & live close to the border where a day trip was a common occurrence. I now hesitate to even travel there as I do worry about gun violence, racism & honestly cannot understand the cult of followers who would even consider voting for an incompetent, narcissistic criminal to lead their country…. it’s mind blowing! You are desensitized regarding violence/school shootings… choose where you live? What’s the guarantee that this couldn’t happen anywhere in the US, even rural areas? On the topic of living in Canada, it’s beautiful with lots of country to see/enjoy from west coast to the east coast & we have healthcare, a government (although not perfect) elected by & working for the people. It's almost like they don't see how the effects of employers offering wages too low to support paying rent being mixed with large investment firms buying up all the Housing stock and enacting policies of constantly evicting current tenants to increase rental prices isn't a major component in the problem.\nThe reality is, the housing crises could be easily fixed by raising minimum wage to a living wage and restricting investment firms from using residential housing as investment stocks especially as one of their tactics seems to be to intentionally not rent out large portions of their housing stock to create a shortage in supply, this driving up demand along with rental prices.\nYou can't honestly complain about the homeless crisis while ignoring the fact that corporations are intentionally keeping rentals empty to drive up rental prices. I'm pretty sure that fits within one of the definitions of insanity.

First off is this video proof that the border is safe and secure ??.\nAnd why is it that so many people fleeing these countries from crime corruption in the police sector the government sector the military their fleeing from environmental catastrophe criminality in the streets violence in the streets drugs horrible living situations poverty etc etc. Just to come to America where we have corrupt police if you believe their mainstream media and social media in the government we have rampant criminality within the cities and states we have corrupt politicians corrupt mayors corrupt DAs corrupt judges corruption in the government on both sides we have rampant criminality in our streets we have rampant drug use we have poverty our banks are going broke and shutting down our government's fixing to go broken shut down So honestly what's the difference between all these foreign countries in America right now nothing.

Seems like authorities at the border have been neutered. This is going to be a very bad situation for America. What are we going to do to stop this madness? Honestly force needs to be an option to keep this under control, but I'm sure they will simply do next to nothing, which is sad.
