Canada & many other countries are Allies of America & while he's talking about tariffs & goodness knows what (I did watch his talk in Congress), at least respect your Allies. Trump is sleeping with the enemy & in all my years, I've never seen an American President turn on their Allies like this. He is a dangerous man for all the wrong reasons. I feel badly for the American people whom will be stuck between a rock & a hard place. I feel for the Canadian's whom don't deserve this. Trudeau speaks so genuinely & politely where Trump yells 'this is the way things will be'. \nI don't look forward to the next 4 years & many in my country (Australia) have said they won't even go to America while Trump is in Office. I support the USA. The tariffs will hurt Canada and Mexico far more than the USA. In 2023 - 76% of Canada's exports were shipped to the US. That is 19% of their total GDP. Mexico exported 78% of its exports to the US, which is 37% of its GDP. US exports to Canada & Mexico combined were only 2.7%. Both countries will need to find other buyers or capitulate. No wonder Trudeau is screaming like a stray dog hit by a rock.

Recently I took a walk at the famous White Rock pier in BC, as I've done over the years. But this time during a long weekend, I was shocked that 95% or more of the visitors on the pier were Punjabi families, most of whom spoke only their own language. As a Canadian, when I enter Canada, I have to answer barrage of questions and declare what I am bringing to Canada ,but these so called refugees can walk in without any questions asked ,and bring anything they want and can stay in hotels as our guests at tax payers money.
