Dumb move to introduce de-facto sanctions against Canada. Trump's perception is weird, very weird. I question his sanity. Alienating allies and neighbors will discredit and isolate USA.

Canadian here, I just feel really bad for the normal Americans who didn't vote for this orange clown who seems hellbent on making their lives miserable. We don't hold it against you, and this is a war with your government, not the people. Americans will always be our brothers and sisters, we just gotta get through this extremely weird and disturbing chapter in history. My grandpa fought side by side with Americans in WW2, and gave his life to stop fascist idiots like Trump. History can't, and won't repeat itself. Unfortunately, this all needs to happen for pro-trump Americans to feel the pain and realize what he is.

Well spoken Mr Trudeau. I am proud to be Canadian. I feel sad for both countries. Can't believe that no judge is declaring the National Security argument as unjustified. I thought this was not possible to impose this without voting it properly if national security is not a real threat under the US constitution... And the argument of trade deficit is such a weird concept. Would Trump agenda be more evil here, and use economic force to force Canada to annex them because they want our resources?

The midterms are coming soon and if President Trump loses the house and senate, that tight rope could snap! And all those shock and awe executive orders etc. could come back to haunt him like a boomerang thumping his head.\n\nNever in my wildest imagination would I ever imagine Canadians harboring bad feelings towards the USA! I see a LOT of emotions here in the comments from people who like to tout where they're from for some really weird reason. I imagine to represent the soap box they stand upon. I find it ironic people are giving underhanded insults to Donald Trump by comparing how Trudeau speaks, yet I can almost guarantee those same people brag about how they refuse to listen to a word Donald Trump says. So its a really silly way to try to insult someone. Also just checked some of my stocks daily returns. Up over 2%. So he was wrong within the first 10 minutes. I suspect the market will become more bullish as some of the companies that have made deals to create factories in the US complete them and start churning out products made locally.

I hope Canada and the EU can get closer, and set up trade of most of our natural resources with them BEFORE Trump get yelled at to change things so theyre extra screwed. O_o Well this is a weird situation. I didn't expect a Mexican American immigrant to support Trump. She explained that she was technically legal. However I really doubt this. Trump is extremely racist. He would still deport this woman anyway. Maybe it is not just a racism thing. Trump is a felon. Felons are the last people that would consider the law. It is nice that this woman went the extra mile to be legit, but I think she is still shooting herself in the foot.

This is ridiculous and out of hand ! Trump was 100% right and NEEDS to be stopped. Every job in Los Angeles is flooded with these people and have been working their as long as I have been born still don’t speak English all have the same backstory (which is getting old hearing it all the time) and they aren’t at all professional and to add a plus I get looked at weird when I don’t speak Spanish and totally get treated as an outsider the whole day every day every job I go to and they all baught their houses in the 80s ! My parents were snowbirds for decades. At the end of their stay, they owned a small place in Safford, AZ. I spent all my vacations wherever they were, Texas, other parts of Arizona. I loved exploring the US with them - Dodge City, KS, Tombstone, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Capital Reef, Gila Cliff Dwellings, to name just a few. Multiple National Parks over their 30 years of winter stays. \n\nThe US is beautiful and steeped in history. We met some really nice people, and even loved a few of them (but not in a weird way).\n\nMy parents sold their place just before Trump became president (on purpose), and none of us have been back since.\n\nDon’t get me wrong, we have our share of ignorant and uneducated people, but most of ours don’t have guns. \n\nAnyways, I digress. Never, not once did we ever consider becoming American Citizens. Especially since Trump (OMG).\n\nWe love our country, even though it’s not perfect.
