First acknowledge that a country has the right to control its borders. The US has lost its Aircraft industry (Boeing), its Car industry (Detroit) and now its Semiconductor industry (Intel). This means your vote and opinions DO count. If Trudeau had been strong and forceful on all our problems in the last 5 years, he would still be Prime Minister. i think he got caught up in his own self importance, instead of running our country for the good of it's people. During the cold war with russia once again trump's boyfriend putin then KGB spy tried using the Canadian border to gain access to the USA.
