I think it is time to use all the unused land to grow our vegetation and any thing else that gets planted to use for the Canadian. We do have the brain and the finances to grow our own fruit even if it takes a couple of years for the plants to produce the vegetation to supply the need. We need to manufacture our own goods. It is only one simple issue we will face but it is one we can handle! Oil, gas, car parts and cars...do it here and get some of the unemployed individuals Living on Provincial Checks off their butts and put them to work. (any that can at all} It might just surprise people at how many would have a reason to get up in the morning and the self confidence they need to get rid of the very thing Trump said was killing US people and stop it from coming in from the US! If we are going to tell it lets tell the truth!.

We're all so disgusted and saddened about all of this. You're so right about everything that you're saying about trump; Putin has his puppet in this country and he's making the most of it, by helping trump to become dictator here. Trump is trying to end a war it’s not the same thing. We don’t need Canada if you haven’t been to America then you don’t know. We can make whatever you can make and better we can grow anything and more then you can just bc of regional weather. Canadian government has made Canadians paralyzed for decades with high tax rates, made worst business decisions emptied citizens pockets to fill outsiders and their own. Help investors to grow and help middle class to become investors, make import export much easier. Bravo Prime Minister Trudeau. Unfortunately Donald Trump will destroy the US. Canada will grow stronger without US. It is regrettable that the current Trump administration is destroying the strong relationships between US with Mexico, Canada, Europe, UK, China, Middle East and Africa. Canada will always stand for democracy, freedom and justice even if this current administration refuses to do so. When I was growing up in Canada, hearing of someone being a “Proud American” was something I admired. Today it’s a punch line to a joke about the American education system. They have nothing left to be proud of, and I’m so thankful to be from this country instead. Trump administration or not, the American people can not be trusted to vote in their own self interest, let alone the interests of the allies that stood with them for the last century and who have lost lives sending men and women over seas to answer the American call for friendship, justice, and loyalty. Sane New Yorkers must, I say must, unite, rise up and take the strongest stand against their politicians and dim-whit voters! The American coal exported through Roberts Bank does not even pay a provincial carbon tax like all BC residents pay. Canada is the second-largest country in the world by land area and we have the longest coastline in the world, with over 243,000 kilometers of shoreline. We will continue expanding our trade with Pacific Rim countries, Europe, Mexico and beyond. They all need and want our lumber, minerals, oil and gas, grass fed beef, and the dependable, respectful trading partner that we are.

I agree with trump make America great again, we do not need cheap labor to harvest our fields, nor to clean our houses, nor to clean our dirt. We as Americans can do it, nor do we need to import food or goods not produced in our country our land can grow by our hands bananas,rice,corn,beans all year long even in cold snow winter, when can make cars and tractors and allow china to grow in the markets that we remove our companies pure american pride we can do it

There is a very big problem with trump's xenophobic screed to create fear and hate of immigrants. Instead of addressing the need to fix the difficulties immigrants face to enter the country legally or how many legal immigrants we will need to grow the country - we have demonized immigrants for trying to make a better life in the US.?

I am a double hater cant stand Trump and I am a farmer, i dont use immigrants because i just grow crops that can be mechanically harvested and I have a small farm, But in the past I used to manage large farms where we had a lot of immigrants most were illegal and people don't understand why they're illegal It's because there is an arbitrary cap on how many migrants can come from Guatemala and Mexico if they wanted to come legally just a normal worker They have a 60-year waiting list so it's just impossible to come here legally. Most of these people are very hardworking good people that come here to work for 5 to 7 years save up money and then go back to Mexico or Guatemala build a house and start a business in their own country. \n\nThis year i begrudgingly voted for trump because for me the biggest issue is with the federal and state regulations that make farming much harder than it needs to be especially regulations on diesel engine emissions that cost me tens of thousands of dollars a year and many months of not being able to use my equipment that I spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on. And Kamala was the one who enforced the CARB emmisions standards that diesel engine manufactures have to comply with to sell into California which is the biggest consumer of these engines. \n\nLike right now I have my pickup truck that's been down for 6 months because of emissions problems and so many of the vehicles have emissions problems that the parts to fix it don't even have an ETA because they need to fix so many trucks and I have two other tractors broke down that I can't use all my friends that are farmers have a lot more and dems want to significantly increase emmisions standards in 2026. \n\nYou simply can't grow food at scale without reliable diesel engines There is no alternative The vast majority of food is planted and harvested mechanically in the US The bigger issue with food is not well illegals get deported It is will the diesel engines run to harvest 90% of the calories in plant them. \n\nWe have robots that can milk the cows most of the things that migrants harvest can be harvested mechanically and they are in other parts of the world It's just cheaper to do it with labor once that's not the case it will be mechanized. I would prefer to keep migrants here but give them legal working status if they have productive jobs and they pay tax.

Something to think about. Biden and Harris put our safety at risk when they decided they needed more democratic voters and opened those borders wide and unchecked. Americans DIED. Alot of them. Especially women who you say you care so much about. Americans voted what they wanted which is no more open border with no real vetting. When produce prices jump in the stores because a lack of labor? When building contractors lose a portion of there labor building houses?? When the meat processors like tyson meats and others have illegals working through labor contractors!!!! Yes those of you who say how can they work? the problem is NOT immigrant. it is refugees that causes all these problems. east asian, white, south asian EVERYONE is an immigrants.
