Truth. I ❤ Canada. Wish I lived there.

Thank you, Mr. Trudeau, for your courageous and truthful words. U.S. citizens know Canada isn't acting against U.S. citizens, but against the U.S. Federal government as well it should. Canadians are lucky to have you in your role. I wish we here in the U.S. had someone of your caliber in the White House.

Canada has many problems and disadvantages which will need to be determinedly addressed in the coming years. However, we have one key advantage over our friends to the south, and one I hope that over time this will increasingly bear fruit: we are not governed by a fascist-adjacent government. Our only political party with policies resembling the American Republicans is polling in the low single digits.\n\nSetting aside the question of whether American Republicans are 'fascist-adjacent', the truth is that much of the world perceives it as such. Our economy is so tied to the US that I would not wish them ill, or at least not very much. However, I think in the competition for talent American politics will be like a 'mark of Cane' on that country for a generation. My guess is that our - in comparison - boring politics will be a key advantage in the years to come.

THIS is why Trump is imposing tariffs on Canada. They don’t do ? about illegals crossing from their country to the US . Canada needs to be taught a lesson. NYC needs to have ALL GOVERNMENT funding cut. Make NYC SUFFER BIG . NYC politicians are not just corrupt but they’re evil. You ppl have no idea just how evil and corrupt they are. Democrats/liberals have completely ruined the world, it’s infected their evil everywhere. I wish more ppl would open their eyes to the truth. The media can spin this however they wish, but the essential truth is that finally we are taking steps to regain control over two areas that have been completely mis-managed over the past number of years. \n\nA cutback in the number of refugees and immigrants? That signifies that once again Canada has borders. A country is defined by its borders. Trudeau took ours down causing an immigration and refugee free for all. Now he is being forced to correct that.\n\nA reduction in the number of federal public servants? The government has used federal public service hiring to make its jobs numbers look better. These jobs are mostly high paying and effectively unproductive in that they do not generate anything to improve the economy. Rather than contributing to the economy, they draw on it. That has been a drag Canada cannot afford.\n\nIt is about time changes like these are made on a large scale.

I moved home to Canada after 20 years living and working in 5 countries. I am so grateful to be home. I am sorry some people leave but I can truthfully say that it is better here. Taxes are less than Scandinavia. Less than France or UK. Same prob with lack of Doctor's everywhere. Sorry ladies, you seem lovely but you are wrong. Just saying. I wish you all the best in your future decisions.

This is the worst time and place to be in Canada. Very challenging job market, housing unaffordability, health care crisis, day care crisis. Basically, you wait three or four months to see a specialist doctor. You wait three or four months to get an ultrasound examination. It is worse than third-world countries. We all wish the truth before coming. Canada is a failing ship ?.

Spot on. Moving to Canada was the worst mistake of my life. I wish that I could go back in time and get all the years and resources that I have invested into settling here... Canada has had a great PR internationally, and Canadians are too polite to complain, so I had to learn it on my own after moving. Good that the truth is finally coming out. Everything here is deteriorating FAST.

I wish those in Nigeria doing the Japa syndrome to the UK, Canada, and other Western countries need to come on this channel to listen. \nWhen you tell them the truth, they presume you are being negative, trying to keep them away from relocating.

Many Canadians are going to misinterpret this as Modi showing the middle finger to Canada. The truth however is that internecine gang warfare is rife among Punjabi groups, in both North America as well as back home in Punjab.\n\nHe lived violently, and died violently, as he wished.

Finally the truth about this ruthless business of making money off poor kids who are sold a dream of good life and send to live a life which is actually a nightmares. I was a student in Canada and seen this first hand. Students packed in rooms and colleges cancelling semesters for new students. This is all true. Even the best colleges do that. Every Indian who wants to go to Canada take this as a warning plz. Taxes are meant to run the country's affaires but people are just mean. You love it when you are broke and are able to benefit free services from the government but when you start making some money and are asked to contribute so that the country can keep up with all it's programs you start complaining. Come back to Africa, there is always a trade-off. No good service and less taxes. Just keep in mind that Africa not developing is our choice otherwise the cost of development is that, in a way ( higher taxes and government's direct control over people's affaires). I thank God anyway that you people can complain of better living condition but I would rather get busy working hard in Canada than not finding a decent job in Africa or bare the cold whether than sleeping hungry in Africa. While not staying that you would be in the worst conditions in Africa, I want you appreciate what you have and remember one truth, so many people in Africa would wish to be in your position. Anyway, you are welcome home. There's still a place for you all. Come help us change our continent for the better.

Canada, country of homeless and trash. I'm so sorry for Canada. Most things about a good Canada are not true, Including clean cities - beaches, and forests. It's a big lie. The first time I arrived in Vancouver in 2018, I was shocked. As soon as I left the airport door, I saw tissue, disposable glasses, and other garbage left in the city. The further I went, the more I saw them. Before I moved to Canada, I lived in Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Serbia, The United States, and for a short time in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Netherland, Germany, and England, but I have never seen the amount of garbage that people leave in different Canadian cities. Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec are no less than Vancouver. Canadian and Canada Governments don't care about this tragedy. I think everything that says about Canada as a clean and powerful culture is not true. You don't need to travel to Canada to see this. Just watch some videos about walking in downtown Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec. You will find the truth. Impossible for you to walk in a Canadian city and you don't see the dark side of that. Everywhere you will see garbage. You will never see this in Europe, Australia, the United States, Japan, and Korea. This amount of waste is not even seen in Malaysian, Indonesian, or Thailand cities. It is impossible for you to use public transport and not see a lot of garbage at stations or on the route. You will be surprised to find a lot of garbage even in the woods - by the rivers and on the beaches in Canada. I wish the Canadians woke up and had no enmity with their country.
