Let me say it, u didn't do ur research before moving abroad, abroad life is not for lazy ppl who don't want to work on their own. Didn't u know how was the life abroad wen u have ur relatives there. And the positions u r saying are voluntary for parents, it's not a job,it's called lunch duty. You didn't try to find how life, society is there. Who asked u to hire a basement, looks like that u weren't financially ok therefore u had to hire a basement. Ppl have nice houses there. It depends on ur priority . I truly feel from development perspective of a child it’s much holistic and less harsh. Depending on capability ppl admit in private schools for more rigorous and methodical education. Public schools vary based on ratings, hence ppl select house based on school district .\nSecondly I personally felt a lot of shift in my mental health. While u have to do everything by urself it gets integrated with ur lifestyle and u learn to function parallely or sequentially. A good part I feel rather than supervising maids and doing khich khich it’s way easier to do the job on ur own.\nHere the mental health is much better, ppl care about family life , ppl care about values and respect to each other.
