Dear Canadians, I know this is no consolation, but you are not alone in facing this problem. Here in Western Europe, in countries like the UK, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, and France, something similar is happening. Here, it's different groups causing trouble and slowly but surely gaining majorities in cities. The EU is also now starting to make agreements with India, which will most likely lead to further migration to Europe. For me, Canada will always be the proud country I was fortunate enough to visit 20 years ago.

UK has the same problem with Indians and student visas. India, Nigeria, and Pakistan commit the most student visa frauds or non compliance in the UK. It was in the papers a couple of years ago. Indians cause too many problems and countries need to be like the US and expel them or make it harder for them to come in. I can say in London, London Metropolitan University and University of East London have way too many Indians and Pakistanis who barely speak English and from what I heard, some take their visas and run off into the sunset. Luckily at my university, in my program, only 1 or 2 Indians.

I’m 49 years old and grew up in the UK. I was always proud of our multiculturalism growing up about 1/5 of the classrooms were of another country/race. In the UK in 1860 7 year old boys (and girls) worked 12 hour shifts in mines and factories, most died before they had children themselves. A hundred years later in 1960 the school leaving age was 15 and life expectancy had reached 70 plus and people worked a 40 hour week with paid holidays and a pension to come in your later years. The first time in thousands of years that the average person could have a decent life and live more than an average of thirty years. My husband and I were both immigrants to Canada, he from S. Africa, I from the UK. I never experienced any discrimination. My busband was diagnosed with late stage bone cancer at 31 years old. The medical care was so good that he lived another 6 mostly happy years. We were supported by the Ontario Health Care system with visiting nurses, even housekeepers and received every help we could possibly need, at no cost to us.
