No big deal. If you've really travelled anywhere else in the world, there's more stringent and expensive measures when crossing into other countries. We're in FL for the season. If they work, file their taxes, don't siphon the system and talk to me in English then I do not care what they do in their own time. On the contrary, I wish them the best. That said, there have been far too many immigrants in the last decade, regardless of origin. I've lived in my small town in BC for 37 years and somehow I cannot get a family doctor (I visit all of the local clinics annually and am on the provincial waiting list) while a lot of newer residents seem to have a doctor within months of moving here. I am glad I bought my house when I did, I would not be able to afford one today. I am not against legal immigration, just slow it down so the infrastructure can support it and properly vet those who apply. The system for deportment currently employed in the US is far too hastened and imperfect for my liking but the lack-of-a-system (or heck, acknowledgement) that this is even an issue by the current and previous Canadian governments is equally as concerning (arguably more, other folks can debate the politics of it).

I were in Japan and if I saw a group of Canadians arrive expecting Japan to change for them, I would have been severely pissed off with them. In Malaysia, Malays rule despite being the smaller population. They have more Chinese and Indians there but they have to live under the rule of the native Malays. I can’t find the proper words to describe how I’m feeling about the life in Canada! I feel extremely disappointed and angry. EVERYTHING has changed since the early 80s unrecognizably, even the service and how different people treat or mistreat each other!! There is no more courtesy, politeness and human respect in hospitals, government offices, banks, etc. \nThe elected government officials are mostly corrupt, unfit for their duties and pursue only a personal agendas in promotion to a higher level! \nRight now, as of January 2025 we are again expecting endless flows of refugees from Gaza along to anticipated tax increases imposed by Trump. \nI have no more words! I feel that this country becoming a dump with an unbearable quality of life. I am feeling mostly depressed and feel no joy due to current conditions and limited opportunities here. I simple cannot even stand it any more and can’t wait when I would be able to find a new place of my residence outside of Canada!

How many part-time jobs do they expect these people to work to pay for rent? Finding a full-time job is almost impossible. Coming to Canada exspecting the country to look after them? The companies take hours away from their employees and create another part-time position, then gets a bonus from the government as part of the new employee wages are paid. Same hours for the company but paying less wages and keeping the profits. Who is does this benefit? Not the workers that then need another part-time job to feed their kids. Filling up schools with people who do not met the education requirements with bogus paperwork. Who are then forced to attend a strip mall schools. Are their diplomas even valid? No proper place to live and using foodbanks. Anyone with this paperwork should be refused at airport not supported. Most are coming from counties that have schools. Because really would you want them managing your money, running the country or are they going to work at Tim Hortons? No wait their fellow countrymen will then use them in scams. Wake up they are making a cast system here.

Wow the entitlement is mind-boggling. If that is the attitude that people have coming here on a temporary Visa. 33 years ago I had a temporary work reason to work in the UK I worked six days a week paid rent paid bills and we built a business that hired other people and put money back into the economy. I can’t imagine being out in the streets protesting it to the UK government that I haven’t been pretty to the privileges of people that were born and bred in the country and were there before me in Ontario we definitely do not have housing available. The cost of housing for a room is $1000 a month outside of the city, basement apartment is 2000 and Condo, one bedroom and den is about 3000. I’m not sure what jobs students are expecting when employment is not at all-time high and the healthcare system is already strained and failing people that need vital surgeries. Seniors are waiting three months for an MRI and students that were born here are having trouble finding employment because entry jobs are given to immigrants we are approaching UK and Ireland crisis levels, it’s not about racism. We don’t have the infrastructure.

Taxes, ridiculous healthcare where you need to spend 6-12 hours waiting to be seen by a “doctor” who will most likely recommend you Tylenol regardless of what problem you have; long wait times to see a specialist; poor education in schools with propaganda of unhealthy values; ask yourself why 60% of Canadians are on antidepressants - loneliness, unrealistic expectations to find a partner - long winters and life in debt are just few causes of it. \nWe left Canada in 2020 and happy we did it.

You don't need to earn 190k plus to afford housing loan, I am not promoting drugs but everyperson who takes drug here is not what you showed in the video, there are specific areas, Yes there is long waiting time for healthcare, which is a concern and I am sure the local government is trying to fight it back, but how about our villages and the majority population with no medical facility even today, not trying to make an argument here. I have been here for around three years now, I am not saying it is the best place in the world nor suggesting anything. I was just expecting properly studied and not partial content from you. If you are hardworking, looking for more challenges with broader mindset to move around anywhere in the world then Canada is still an option with equal opportunities for everyone, beautiful weather, better education facilities, nice and clean roads, less corruption, you have your privacy, better lifestyle. And definitely it is not a magical land with everything freely available, for simplest thing there could be hardest struggle in initial years.

Germany can make new visa requirements etc it doesn’t matter because German people’s mindset needs to change , we can’t learn German the moment we land in the airport this is the expectation when we land in Germany, your visa procedures aren’t fast enough and friendly , people wait for more than 3 months for dependent visa and more, also the kind of stares we get while travelling to work or shopping and more , it just feels weird , Spain France and other southern European countries are much better to live and work.

I’m a Korean American who has lived here my entire life since birth. I have lived in many other places and the thing about immigrants is they ALWAYS share the same traits wherever they go. \nI live in an affluent area and whenever the immigrants from poor countries come in they all do the same things…throw trash and litter everywhere, the attitude of “I made it just like you therefore I deserved to be treated like a king”..telling them to turn down the music at 2am and not understanding why so instead you are met with argumentative resistance instead of them just saying “hey we’re sorry won’t happen again, we don’t want to be that guy in this neighborhood. Our apologies” but nope. They continue to do it night after night and the audacity to even get angry. The crowding of all of their families in disrepspectful ways such as cutting in line while everyone else is patiently waiting, if there is free samples of food, they will group up and annihilate whatever they are offering not even caring about anyone else but their own. Leaving a very bad image for us East Asians when people from the red flag dragon nation come in droves. Being extremely loud in public while talking about petty nonsensical things most times but they yell and laugh not caring whoever else is around. Even if the room is quiet they have zero situational awareness, never putting things back when they grab them from stores or gym etc. they expect someone to pickup and do this for them. The country will sooner or later have a crisis due to its politics and their companies falling behind in competitiveness due to incompetence and arrogance. Instead of blaming themselves, they will blame immigrants, including you. Also, if you are a qualified foreigner, you will have to come to terms with being a second class resident, watching how natives enjoy their life and expect you to do their work. Only “luxury jobs” with a strong union like IG Metall will ensure you a fair treatment. But most of these jobs are occupied by 55+ yo people that are waiting for retirement without innovating or contributing absolutely nothing to their company. \nThe woman in the video is happy because she married a local (for love of course). With her low salary as a nurse she would be absolutely miserable and lonely. The Indian guy has a family, and well, he comes from India.

It's not even just in Brampton even 1 to 2 hours away immigrant and international students take all customer service jobs to the point that Canadians can barely get hired into these roles because we have expectations and rights that we worked for and I've seen these immigrants willing to work for less than legal minimum wage and they do not stand up for themselves or work towards having any shared rights. In addition many politicians on both sides of the aisle are rental landlords so only stand to profit from low rental vacancies and cramming as many people into a small space as possible. They've also cut funding to a lot of post-secondary institutions who rely on inflating tuition cost for international students. At my current role on a team of 15 people plus one manager there are only three white people, born and raised Canadians. The rest are all Indians including the manager and will frequently talk amongst themselves loudly in Punjabi while we're trying to serve customers in the English language. That's actually against policy but Canadians are so outnumbered by immigrants and specifically Indians in this place that it never gets enforced properly. I've never been anti-immigration but it's gotten so bad in Canada especially in places like Ontario that I'm now against it and will tell anyone regardless of their skin color to avoid immigrating here. I've been on a wait list for a doctor for over 11 years, I know people who have died from cancer due to delayed referrals due to long wait list for additional screening, it's insane and absolutely ridiculous especially considering the amount of taxes I currently pay and have paid my entire life as a born and raised Canadian.\n\nAlso it's absolutely true every single one is either taking or has taken post-secondary studies in business admin or management. We don't need more people in these fields we need Healthcare sector workers and not a single one that I've spoken with which again is quite a few studied anything related to medicine Healthcare nursing... not one.

No bus or public transportation system between cities and often only one airline to service your flight in many areas outside huge metro centers. Minimum 18% tipping expectations at restaurants with already high prices for what you get.
