Only my heritage is Indian (4th generation in Australia - my great grandparents came here) so obviously I present as one. The only reason you can use the term Immigrant is because the govt issued visas. But that being said the govt fast tracked the usual immigrant process which takes months to years. So in actuality this is not legitimate immigrants. It's unlawful what the govt has done and therefore these people are immigrants under cover of law. Or color of law. It's defacto. There's also piles of IDs at that border crossing also. Anyways these open border policies has cut out in depth screening so we really don't know who is in Canada as true asylum seekers or immigrants. To add to this complexity, over 300,000 Canadian travel documents have been stolen from CBSA Canadian Border Services Agency. 280,000 of those were blank Canadian passports. SO we really don't know who's walking on Canadian soil. This was confirmed by Luc Sabourin a former CBSA agent. Palkhi as much as I like watching your news your views here need to address real issues. I am a proud Indian who has lived in the UK for over 50 years. However I have to say whilst there are a lot of highly skilled Indian immigrants on work visas who contribute immensely to this country. however we now have a huge community of Indians those who have come over on illegal documents or on holiday visas and then never go back. They end up working in menial jobs or not working at all and perhaps this is an issue India needs to address. Sadly these immigrants will never be an economically contributing asset to this country or any other country and I am not surprised that the visa rate rejection is so high.

As an International student, though I moved to Canada a decade ago initially to look for a deeper meaning in life, I still kinda felt being scammed by the Government for spending a huge sums of tuition to end up with a useless diploma which leads to unemployment . I have contributed soooo much ?for Canadian economy for the past 11 years( actually my parents paid everything), but still neither me nor my family have received any benefits from this country so far. I don’t even have a family doctor, and my family don’t even want to come here so it’s just me alone! I am a German born, Germany raised second gen immigrant. I am almost 30 now. To this day, I do not feel as part of this country. Why? Constant discrimination, being treated extremely poorly, lower chances at anything really, bullied and abused since infancy. I am very highly educated and skilled throughout various domains and tried to achieve the best I can. If I work in Germany, less skilled people will do everything to sabotage me, due to jealousy.
