That's not how that works. You can't be bob from Idaho and request asylum. There has to be a valid reason.

I have traveled to many places in the states and all I can say is it depends so much on where you go. THere are many places that, if I could afford it, would move to (eg Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, Denver) in a heartbeat. Other places (eg Chicago, LA or Seattle ) not so much.

Ok so you’re allowed to carry guns and big knifes in Idaho and southern states but a student who’s baptised cannot carry a dull small ceremonial dagger that’s as sharp as a piece of stick ???? you’re allowed to carry 6 inch knife ? in North America .

I moved to the US to upstate NY(not even near NY City nor is the crime), and only last a few months before I moved back. I’ve also been to 70% of US States, and every time I’m nervous as everything is just so different and you don’t feel safe. \n\nYour streets are definitely different than ours, and quite dirty to say the least. \n\nI’d rather live on the streets of Toronto, then live in an State in the U.S. \n\nThe only State I’ve been too where I’ve felt a tad bit safe was Idaho, but even then, I was still uptight! \n\nCanada also has higher standards when it comes to hotels, restaurants, grocery stores, food, etc. \n\nI live bordering Buffalo, NY and am even scared to cross for a sports game or shopping, although It’s not that terrible over there. \n\nYour gun laws are scary, and although I have a license to carry here in Canada, the U.S. needs to be much more stricter and also not allow sales of them on every block! \n\nI have hundreds of friends in the US, and sometimes their wait times for appointments are much longer than mine, and I don’t have to claim bankruptcy afterwards.

If I could bring my kids, I'd live in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming area. Very nice there.

I checked out of curiosity and there are only 6 states that have NOT had a mass shooting in 2023. There have been 383 mass. shooting. Maine, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota. It's a big enough issue that there is an interactive map showing mass shooting. \n\nThat is enough of a reason to not move there. Was just staying @ Extended Stay America in Boise, Idaho. Full of illegal imagrants from Mexico living out of the Extended Stay! The whole place was full of these young, adult, men from Mexico that were all extremely intoxicated! At any given time there would be between 10 and 20 of them in the lobby drinking beer and the whole place smelled like meth! It seemed like every couple of hours or so someone would stumble over to the store across the way and bring back a 24 pack/case of beer! I saw three different vans with out of state license plates all show up at the Extended Stay America, full of these Mexican men, all exiting these vans and heading straight towards the lobby and then retreating to their rooms. There must have been a 50+ of these Mexican imagrants living out of this one Extended Stay America in Boise Idaho.

I have to be honest, although Alberta may have better statistics, it is very boring. Besides the limited area of Rocky Mountains it’s flat land, Alberta and Saskatchewan are both like Idaho and other extremely flat areas.
