If Canada refuses to take this seriously, the government officials are being traitors to their own country. Canada is now doing a disservice by withholding information from Canadians, and did so before, during the inquiry into the Air India incident, when the government asked the courts not to include it in their investigation of any Indian involvement. A Canadian- Norwegian spy who said India tried to hire him to place explosives in one of the planes. He warned our government, and they knew about this and still covered it up! Now, the government is doing the same to secure business deals with India. Like India has nothing to offer Canada except labour (with their billion population), and we Canadians cannot find jobs and don't need unskilled workers from India when we can educate our citizens and give them jobs here. There must be a full, transparent investigation into India and its embassy and agents.

There is a clear lie in that video. Nobody is in Limbo. Mind you there is normal Federal Express entry program still happening. Meaning, that if you get selected through that program, you can immigrate to any province of your choice - including Quebec. You can also still get bonus points for Canadian education (Quebec education does count) and Canadian work experience (if it qualifies). So the only thing that happened was, that one provincial nomination program was ended, that is all that happened. The practical problem is, that provincial nomination does give so many points, that it is a guarantee of normal express entry pull as long as you just meet criteria to enter Express entry. So provincial nominations are suitable for people that might be otherwise struggling with points (older age, less language perfection, les bonus points from education or work experience). For a disclaimer, provincial programs are based on a specific province needs and just because one was opened when you planned to go and study or work in Canada, it does not mean it will be like that forever. If an agent made you such promise, then he was misleading you. Again for those people demonstrating, nothing has changed for them other than one future option was gone. They still have their student or work permit until it expires. They also can apply into Express entry program as normal. On a side note for Canadian trying to cheer about this, be aware, such change can also mean that economy projection for next few years is not the best. so take it a warning sign. Or if we are lucky, it was found that this program was not bringing intended type of skilled worker or was heavily abused.

Well, you Quebec will regret soon, including your economy. These decisions don't work like that. There will be maybe short-term benefits that will turn out against your economy pretty soon. To be here as a citizen today, I had to pay CAD$35.000 for a two years program in Toronto. But to get the study visa I had to prove a lot of things, including money, proof that I had paid the college (at least 1st year), English, a Bachelor degree (education), a clear criminal history, and what attach me to my country. I had to study hard, and only after graduation I could have 3y work permit. By working in Canada I could get more point to become a permanent resident. After 2y having my PR, I could get the citizenship, but I had to prove I pay taxes, clear criminal history, and other things that show I would be a good citizen. So, I worked (and still work) hard, I am currently in two jobs and at school taking my masters, I respect the laws, I respect the culture (I never tried to impose mine), and I pay over CAD$10.000 in taxes per year on my income. That said, I feel as a slap on my face when fraudulent and dishonest people are able to be here cheating the system in any way. Some people may say I am an immigrant against immigration. NO, I am in favor of people taking the right path to immigrate, and make real contributions for this country, not coming to be scammers and criminals.

I dont know about anywhere else in canada but ive noticed that a growing number of men lurking around playgrouds trying to lure children are east indian males in their 20's-30s.
