The United States is a country of democracy, humanism, human rights and freedoms, a country that has become home to the world of many people who have improved the quality of life of billions of people all over the planet. This is addressed mainly to the ugly Indian: My generation came to the racist west and built a golden reputation. We worked hard, assimilated, paid our taxes, and obeyed the laws. We were humble. We celebrated our native cultures within the confines of our communities. While it was frustrating to be invisible in white culture, we never sought to conquer them with our culture. We were ethical to the hilt. Our generations were poor -- yet we struggled to help others in India and in the west. We were NEVER on the dole. Personally I think it is rude to enter a nation (in the west or anywhere in the world) with naked opportunism. Speaking for myself -- despite neocolonialism, I admired western civilization, especially its older forms. \n \nBut the ugly Indian who comes now is loud, brash, socially irresponsible, exploitative, money-hungry, opportunistic, and arrogant beyond belief (full of the hubris that comes from sudden new wealth). They look down on us who have been here a while. They are used to a servant-culture and look down on white working class people, as if they are servants. As for second generation Indians in the west, they can be racist towards us first generations. But the opposite is true as well. Indian newcomers see them as an alien species. Indians do tend to hire their own and stick to their own identities -- I do not mean the Indian identity, but their native state identities. All this feeds into the primary and secondary forms of western racism that are already simmering beneath the surface. This new genre of Indians is destroying the goodwill we have built. I have personally witnessed arrogant young Indian students cutting the line to reach the front desk. No manners, no ethics. As a first generation Indian immigrant I get annoyed. So why shouldn't native born westerners (who are already racist)? \n \nBut to complain about how they smell is rude beyond belief. This must stop.

It is time we ought to do our own soul-searching rather than make Islam a scapegoat of our problems for religions have always conquered civilizations from the dawn of human history. \n\nNearly 2000 years ago, Europe was largely pagan. And within a couple of centuries, it predominantly became a Christian continent even though Christianity at first was met with a lot of suspicion and mistrust among the pagans. Islam is now at a similar crossroad in the Western hemisphere. Should Isam replace Christianity in the West over the next couple of centuries (and it seems likely that it will), it would only mark the natural evolution of human culture and civilization. And does it matter what religion people follow in Europe or America? No. The French will still be French whether they worship God in a mosque or church. And ditto for the Brits, Germans, Italians, and others. But, the French will always play the most entertaining le foot -- Nous sommes les champions du monde! The history of the West since 700 AD has really been about the struggle to repel the onslaught of Islam. Remember the Crusades? Ask the Spanish and the Portuguese who eventually threw the Muslims out of southern Europe and the Poles ,Hungarians and Austrians who stopped them at the gates of Vienna. It was not so long ago (WW1) that the west defeated the Ottoman Empire. Have we forgotten that? The Muslims have not.
