As a tax payer and as a traveller I buy my own travel insurance when travelling out of Canada!! Other than what I am covered by Alberta Health Care-I pay my own dental, vision, chiropractic, massage, MRI I have to wait months or pay for speed myself, I pay for my own Prescriptions!! Why is it so difficult to have reasonable conversations about this? But for some reason people either only get woke about the positives of Indian immigrants or only negative, sometimes racist about them. It’s fair to acknowledge that rampant, unchecked immigration ruins the culture. Like Indian driving culture is fucking terrible. You don’t want to bring that shit over. You can also acknowledge that early immigrants and their kids are often completely American/Canadian, from their native language, accents, education, references etc. And that Indians are generally a low-crime, high-employment, high-tax-paying immigrant group. And we ALSO acknowledge that that’s changing because of the type/number of people coming in, and the financial and political incentives which support it. It causes valid resentment. I am an indian, genuinely speaking, when I came here back in 2023, I didn’t know there are so many people from one of the indian state called punjab. They have ruined this place as well as image of all Indians. Also, If you want khalistan, why they are not protesting in where their land belongs(so called), why in Canada or Usa? With the price of homes it was expected a long time ago that crime would explode. Even people with jobs are having a hard time to get a home. Im tired of being hit almost every day on my ebike every day. Literally got hit on friday by one in edmonton and I have to taxi and we all know taxi drivers are indian and they are some of the worst drivers I dont how they come to canada get there license and how they come to our country and our eay richer than us white people the government helped them way too much while they dont help the people that lived here there whole lives. I feel this video does cover what's happening but don't answer the question why its happening. Here's what i think- To start with - A major population of indian immigrants in Canada come from two provinces/states - Punjab and Gujarat. From Punjab - Most of the population who migrates to Canada are villagers. They are notoriously famous in Punjab cities as well for creating trouble. They have no civic sense, always getting involved in illegal stuff, some use drugs, no etiquettes, poor hygiene and very arrogant sometimes. Another thing, Canadian government over the years stopped taking in-person interviews and got lenient with rules for gaining a visa especially for students which doesn't make sense and one should be catious so of what kind of people they are letting in their country. This leads to letting in a bunch of wrong people who are already a troublemaker in Punjab and then represents a bad of side of Indians. A side note - Every Indian province is very very different and not all people are same in India. It's definitely a shit situation which shows Canadian government definitely needed a better way to handle immigration. A lot of international students has been exploited by the system as well if you get to know from there point of view as well. 2.9 million housing issues have been resolved for some homeless Canadians. There is a shortage of high-school science teachers. Students have to wait more than a year to get grade 11 physics and other science courses like biology. I think 2.9 million would free up some classes. Government failure TIME AND TIME AGAIN. You let an influx of immigrants all at once, fail to do proper checks on who enters the country, fail to get rid of criminals from the country. But oh! The first problem is that no country has a long range plan: where do they want to be on 20/50/100 years. The basic economic plan is for growth but this is not sustainable. Reduced birth rates mean that immigration is needed, if only to reduce the impact of an aging population and to reduce the demands on the young adult population. This should be aimed at getting to a sustainable state but no government is planning for it. They only plan for the current electoral cycle.

Yeah, the majority here in Ontario are happy that the government is getting it under control, and unfortunately, the method is not fair. The missing parts of the report are: 1) the government has increased the number of permanent residency spots to convert temporary residents, but the increase is not proportionate. 2) The reason why we had an increase in temporary residents was because corporations (like Tim Horton's) lobbied the government to let in more temporary workers whom they can underpay and exploit, as the employees don't have as many rights. So now it is not surprising that they are lobbying against the changes.

When I was a small child, I had planned to go to European and American countries based on my knowledge and good values and not for money because I thought that people with good education and rules followed lived there. Now I am 18 and it is very sad to see that people who lack basic manners are going there in exchange of money, yes it is true that you cannot bring knowledge and good values in yourself with money, European people and American people should also think about this and should ask questions to their government that why are they bringing these people to get profit in the vote bank or are they very educated people, but looking at the condition it is not true that Their parents may have also taught them basic manners, many Indians do not have the flexibility to change their habits after seeing the country, but they would have had problems with people coming to their country from outside who did not live in the Indian culture, but if they did not live with outsiders and were forbidden to do that, then that would be racism! One should follow whatever religion one wants but see again it should change with the new environment, even in nature when a species migrates to a new place it follows the rules and practices it uses, it does not mean that its genetics change completely.

We have people sleeping in tents outside during the winter -30c and even worse weather, we have a major housing crisis, we are short close to half a million homes. Young Canadians are not getting hired because companies are hiring foreigners who are cheap labour, young people are not able to afford to move out of their parents homes. Why does the Canadian government hate Canadians so much and is not reversing the destructive laws of Steven Harper and the conservatives? Is it the goal of the Canadian government to kill us Canadians and replace us all with immigrants who look like Canada's Aboriginal people? If so then why doesn't Canada protect white people from Aboriginal people so that white people can succeed in Canada?

Had fellow college students that have literally told me that they aren't here to learn and are here to just finish the college program to get a job because they would earn more doing any job in Canada than in India. India work market is saturated because of the population and wages are low. The Canadian government use them because they pay triple for schooling that's it. I was going through college in southern Ontario about half a decade ago. The faculty was alright but the one that always stuck with me was an elderly Indian man who had a PHd (what he was doing teaching at a community college, I'm not sure). He immigrated from India sometime in the 70's, I think, and sometimes told us stories about how he'd never seen electricity until he was well into adulthood. This was at the early stages of Indian mass immigration to the province, but the international students were already becoming a known problem in the school. They never spoke to anyone else, hung out in big groups together on campus, I swear most of them couldn't even speak English. They constantly cheated on everything and shared answers, I heard like 7 of them got failed for submitting identical lab reports one time. Most people knew they were a problem, but no one was comfortable saying anything. Except the Indian professor. He would publicly call them out for shit in class, berate them, shit talk them openly to other students. I've literally never seen anyone more angry about those Indian students than that Indian professor. It's not hard to see why, he busted his ass to immigrate to Canada, get work and get into a good university. He completed a doctorate, for Christ's sake. He didn't see a street light until he was 25, and worked his way to the bleeding edge of digital science. Now there's a bunch of lazy assholes invited in by the government brazenly trying to cheat their way to a degree in his goddamn class. I'd crash out too.
