In the Eastern Townships (QC) there is no fence. You can cross over the border unimpeded. Look at Google Earth. There is NOTHING on either side of the Vermont-QC border except farmers' fields and forests.

Why don't they try electric fencing along with police presence along the border?

I live in Vermont, do a lot of through hiking and it is scary knowing how easy it is to come over that border, lot of wilderness with no fences

There's difference between US and India immigration laws. In India opposition party states provide them with legal documents and make them their vote bank. It's wild to me that anyone thinks that any amount of illegals immigration is ok, if one stranger jumps my fence it's a problem but if 40000 or more a month show up no one cares? The entire thing makes no sense, who are they what diseases do they have? This is ridiculous our borders north and especially south should be heavily protected. The border needs to be absolute. There has to be more security...this has to stop.
