I am an indian, genuinely speaking, when I came here back in 2023, I didn’t know there are so many people from one of the indian state called punjab. They have ruined this place as well as image of all Indians. Also, If you want khalistan, why they are not protesting in where their land belongs(so called), why in Canada or Usa? There are 70% of the people are living in canada is punjabi. They have ruined the image of our whole country. We are peace loving people and follow rules but just because of these people, we fell into the same group. Fun fact: why brampton and surrey have bad reputation and increased crime rates because punjabi people live there. Thats heart wrenching. The other aspect is the Canadian government doing nothing to curb thia types of people instead of that these people do crime, get arrested, claim asylum, get free food for 1 year and become the resident of the Canada. I am really frustated and both the goverment and these khalistan entity. Go to hell man.

I can easily say tyler is racist because it's just bad things about India that he shows like the photo of punjab he shows like a random street in punjab a person is driving in motorcycle and there is garbage all around and not showing the golden temple or beautiful places there. I know the people should point out the mistakes of a country like dirty places there but like all the images shown of the country are dirty and not a single picture is good about it even though there are many. I'll tell you a little secret - Indians in the rest of India also despise the Brampton set, who are mostly from random villages in Punjab. Not least because most of the remaining Khalistan sympathisers (a terrorist group who wanted Punjab to become a separate homeland for Sikhs) are based here. The Khalistanis committed numerous terrorist attacks and atrocities throughout the 70s and 80s, before finally being put down for good in Operation Blue Star in 1984. Their remnants have wound up in Canada, still pushing for a terrorist ideology and independence movement in a country they've not lived in for years. Even the leader of the NDP is a Khalistan sympathiser. Diplomatic relations between India and Canada have been frosty recently for this reason.

Thanks for bringing light to this huge problem in canada. No joke indians have quickly become like 30% of the workforce here. They take over businesses and refuse to hire non Punjab people because they won't fit in the workplace culture. They've been taking the excessive handouts from the Canadian government and are slowly buying up tons of real estate. Its everywhere in canada. Brampton is just ground zero. What's it like? We just got a new Walmart down the street. They took a staff picture and it was 80% indian people. Hardly any locals got jobs there instead its mostly "new citizens" who have lived here less than a year or two. Every day there's more of them. And because of our liberal government and tax breaks and all sorts of racist allowances these people have got, they all have money and houses and new cars when they were dirt poor in India like 3 years ago. They get interest free loans from banks, they get daily per diems and housing as soon as they get here. Keep in mind tent cities are growing rapidly in Canada. And our government is spending HUGE amounts of our tax dollars to subsidize this takeover. And try living here and renting. Due to this influx, a bungalow that was 1500 a month 10 years ago, is now 4500 a month and youre renting off an Indian person. Word to the wise tho, dont even bring up the tow truck businesses. They'll shoot you And last but not least our retarded government just passed a birthright citizen law for them. So now if you come here from India even if only for a couple years, ALL subsequent offspring of yours can immediately get citizenship here no question asked. We are so fucked

Tbh its alot more saturated than you would think, I live in B.C and do alot of uber deliveries, 2400 alone last year. Id say 70% of the people in houses, and some really nice houses are Indian. Also most fast food restaurants are run by indian managers and staff, I was in a KFC the other day that had 1 younger white male at the counter, and 5 punjab behind the counter. The workers were all yelling at eachother about orders in their language and the white guy looked so confused. English is the first language in Canada so it should be learned especially when it comes to a business context, does our government care tho? Nope.

As an Indian living in India, I’d say it was your country’s government’s problem and mistake, similar to what the UK is doing now. Aside from government or policies, Indians immigrating to Canada is something that dates back to the British era, when Britain sent a group of Indians, specifically Sikhs, for security or labor work in Canada. This started the trend of Sikhs (turban-wearing ones) moving there. In modern times, the West was richer in terms of education and infra compared to Asia, which attracted many normal students and families immigrants also. Canada and America were built by immigrants, but now things are saturated, which I understand, and that’s where the resentment comes from. The majority Sikh state ( punjab) in India is still behind in development and job wise cooperation, and the historical pattern from the British era of moving to Canada for a better life has become a norm for many young people there. The close, collaborative nature of Sikhs—like a cousin in Canada inviting another cousin from India to come over, open a shop, work together, or share housing—is another reason many don’t hesitate to immigrate. These are some of the reasons behind mass immigration from India. Now, with saturation, the resentment toward immigration has grown. India itself faces issues with immigrants who live off our taxes, take rights meant for native children, and abuse policies, laws, or the environment. At least Canada has better-off immigrants—educated and contributing to the economy. While some may depend on taxes, most are hardworking and self-sufficient; otherwise, Canada’s economy would have collapsed by now. In end i can understand the hatred but you guys should stop this yourselves - not hunting them but prevent more.

You havent seen the nasty parts. Of course walking into temple with a camera you will hear advocation for peace. Growing up there you are taught in school that if you are white you are evil from the teachers and the brown students of which outnumber you 20/1 take that mileage and run with it. Many employers and landlords will not even give you a chance unless you are of their faith or from their home region in india or pakistan, and if you are black or white than you shouldnt even bother trying… aint gonna happen. There is a massive entitlement from the younger Sikhs who actively want to see the country become more closer to the punjab with Brampton being the new Lahore. Street violence rarely gets brought up anymore because it is so frequent so media only jumps on it if they got nothing else to use. The majority of gangs are in Bramalea south of Kennedy. This isnt just circumstances because “they have it so hard here boohoo”. The Tamel people that live in Brampton come from India and Sri Lanka. Many fled due to the tigers and because India has been trying to destroy their culture for a long while. You wont find Tamel who has lived in Canada more than a year in a gang, or with a thick as lard accent, or speaking their previous language in public. They are good people, very respectful.

I love Punjabi people, but I don’t like this mindset. 5. So, the people you see doing disgusting things are most likely illegal immigrants. Why? Because genuine people go there to educate themselves and contribute something meaningful to the culture—not to behave like those individuals. 6. I really hope Canada can recover from this. I have a friend who went there in 2015, and he once told me to visit the country. Canadians are truly amazing, and the natural beauty (except the winter!) is so nice. As an Indian living in Australia, i support the rejection of visas. Indian behave like they're living in India. Ladies in my class from punjab will speak only punjabi and ask desi lectures if they can teach the class in Hindi. \nAlso occasionally the khalistanis will do demonstrations here creating traffic. \nMany indians visiting nearby Vietnamese cities lile bali also disrespect locals there. Indians are peddled this dream that everything outside is a heaven since early childhood. They see pictures of skyscrapers in Manhattan, London and Frankfurt and think everyone is living like that outside. These people are further brainwashed by immigration agencies and disguised human traffickers to put lakhs or even crores on the line for just going outside. They sell their lands, properties and other assets just to be able to go out pursuing a misleading dream.\n\nThis is a problem especially in states like Punjab, Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra and Kerala, where most of the people still believe that it's better living outside than inside. As an Indian living in India, the immigration policies of Canada are seriously concerning, it’s not attracting the best of the bunch and it’s fostering Anti-National sentiments among communities that are usually very patriotic in India… there is no Khalistan movement in Punjab, they are causing unrest in Canada for their agenda and the Canadian PM is all too happy to support them. My Nani died longing to go back to her haveli in Rawalpindi. She used to burst out in tears and blamed Jinnah and Gandhi for separation from her homeland. It was really sad to hear her stories. They lost everything. She lost two of her daughters on the way up the riots. They went searching for them but never found anything. I can’t imagine hungry, exhausted, homeless mother dealing with loss of her children when still frightened that Muslim mob will rape or burn them any day. People say it both sides. But it’s evident from history Dr Ishtisk Ahmed quotes it was Muslim who started the riots first in bihar, bengal and Jinnah originally supported uprising in parts of Punjab, he wanted to show that we can’t live together to justify for separate state. Sadly now we have more Muslims in India then Pakistan and they live happily in our own neighbourhood. We attend each others functions and study in same schools, sit on same benches, use same school bus. It was all to fulfil Jinnahs desire to be supreme leader of Pakistan.

There is no mini Punjab, is Brampton, is Canada. When we moved to canada we decide Live as Canadians. We respect Canadian culture, citizens and neigorhoods why try change that?, if you missed a lot go back to your country! We have to keep clear this is not our native country, here are many cultures and them could no be agree with ours and yours. So live you culture in your house but not force everybody to stant and accept yours. Its just a matter of society respect.

Imagine have a million immigrants coming in with a country that has a population of 40 million.\n\nThe infrastructure comes to a stand still, housing is ruined, food inflation begins. \n\nHonestly thanks to Diploma mills, Asylum seekers and gangs from Punjab, its honestly gotten bad from the Indian perspective. Now add to this others coming in from Africa and South East Asia and you can see this country get worse honestly.\n\nThis isn't hate against anyone, its just facts.

Punjab would be united again, blending its rich culture and heritage from both sides.\n\n\n4. Pakistanis could visit the Taj Mahal, and Indians could experience Lahore's old markets—all without the need for passports and visas.\n\n\n5. Imagine the beautiful sight of Ganpati Visarjan on Karachi beach, celebrating with the same joy as we do in Mumbai. We already have so many mosques across India, so all faiths would have a home.\n\n\n\nAnd my favorite thought: India and Pakistan together would have the strongest cricket team, with fast bowlers, skilled batsmen, and the best of talent playing as one.\n\nFrom an Indian perspective, some people might ask why we would want this—why merge with a country that has been under military control since 1958? There’s concern about extremist groups, the instability Rawalpindi brings, and whether Pakistan could ever embrace the same religious harmony that India enjoys. In Indian cantonments, people of all faiths celebrate each festival together—could Pakistan someday share this unity and respect for diversity?\n\nOn the Pakistani side, many feel merging isn’t practical. They believe it would only create more problems with a larger population, and cultural differences might make it difficult. They worry about job competition, about religious fanatics clashing, and about how their way of life might change.\n\nI know this dream may sound foolish to some, but I believe nothing is impossible if both sides truly want it. History shows that countries have overcome their divisions.\n\nI don't know why, but I just wanted to share these thoughts. I don’t want to get into the blame game over who caused the partition; I only dream of a future where understanding, peace, and mutual respect guide us all.

Before the people come they at least new basic English and got usto the way of living the new once they don’t even know basic English and don’t have any common sense how they pass is beyond me . For those who live in the U.K., your indian community is made up of all the indians from all india. Here in Canada, 97% of all the Indians are Sikh from Punjab. All of our political parties consistent defend Sikh policies and the Sikh leaders because they are desperate for the votes of this community. It is a community in which eligible voters do vote actively and they also gather more money through fundraising than any other party.

She is not wrong fully, I have met good sofesticated indians living in Canada and they say that people coming from mostly Punjab and Haryana have made a havoc in Canada. They are too loud, dirty and filthy. There is a big safety concers for Canadians and even Indian origin canadians in Canada. Even our people who have gone there to work legally say that they don't want any indian in Canada. I am living in Europe and I see the same thing. People from our country just don't have any civic sense, they are mostly very dirty and because of them, many people find it difficult to find a apartment.
