we need to stop accepting people in the country

People need to accept the truth. Canada was doing well until it stopped being European only. Europeans of all cultures built successful, clean stable advanced nations. We then let in the rest and the country fell apart.

You know, Brampton even before trudeau was becoming basically little India, and most Canadians just said whatever let them have it, we kinda accepted it. But after trudeau with mass immigration and them taking over other cities its when it became a little too much and started to take over canadian culture. I had a friend visit from the u.s for the very first time, and we did some sight seeing, you know going to places around ontario that tourists would check out, went to niagra falls for the first time in maybe 10 years man it changed. It was 90% Indian people. She noticed it right away but didnt say anything, i said a lot of indians huh? and she said yeah didnt think canada was like this. When you think Canada its always been mulicultural, you just think of all ethnicities and people of different cultures but at the end of the day everyone was Canadian and they assimilated. Now you dont think of a multicultural country you think of an indian country thats changing the canadian culture and way of life and not in a good way. Identity is being taken away and it needs to stop. Canada needs to take notes from Poland before its too late. Poland closed their doors and guess what? economy went up, crime rate went down, people are happier. Canada opened the doors, crime rate shot up, economy crashing, more homelessness then ever and so on. Not saying its specifically Indian people, its the amount coming in and how they adopt canadian culture but instead bring their culture and trye changing the country to fit them rather then fitting in with an already established country and culture.

I also have to say that crime is way to high, and it's because of the immigrants, not all do crime but alot do, especially the east, they do sexual predation and other crime. If you come here, you need to assimilate to our culture and stop screaming racism if we don't accept your culture.

I am Native American. At college, I took a welding course just to break the monotony of classes as I was raised using my hands. This immigrant male, asked the rest of the class "why is she here?". I asked if he had a problem with me and he looked at the class to tell me not to speak to him. No one said a word but looked between us in silence. I asked him again, "do you have an issue with me being here?". Again he told the rest of the Caucasian men to tell me to stop speaking to him. I said if you have a problem with me, let's step outside and one of us will walk back in. You can't accept that a Native female is in this class, pack your family up and go home. Don't think of the state's because that's mine too. The teacher walked in and he could see and sense the tension in the room. He removed the immigrant and they went out of the room. A few minutes later the instructor came in and looked at me and said he'll be taking a class with no females. His country doesn't allow females an education yet alone a trade. You're welcome to stay. I have no intention to leave, was my comment back. I'm here to learn. Decades later, I'm driving home from northeastern Quebec and on the 401 is a gas/food stop. My child and I were passed by 4 luxury sports cars. They pulled into this stop and parked across all the handicapped parking spots. Bumper to bumper across the spots. We went in and met them as we came out and met a truck driver of the same nationality. He asked "how is Canada treating you?". They smiled and said "look", motioning to their silk suits. Another pointed to their cars. And another said "they treat us like kings'!". The fourth said "Canadians are easy to play! Cowards!!" A few days later, I'm at Walmart and present my tax exempt (we pay 5% tax) but the cashier looks at it and states "you all think your so special!!" Your paying the tax like everyone else! A customer behind me yelled for management loudly. When management showed, I didn't say a word because it was the customers behind and on the side of me with complaints of the rudeness of the cashier. She was removed and manager took over transactions. Not just mine but those after me. There was another incident with my child. An immigrant (can tell by the long tunic) was trying to lure my daughter away from me. I put her in a cart and requested help from a young employee who wanted me to write a book before calling security. Another employee came over and called security immediately. By the time they found the man, he had exited the store and got into a taxi. A few weeks later at an arena where youth hockey practice was taking place, the same scenario was happening. A man in a tunic was trying to lure children away and when caught, jumped into a taxi and left the scene. To attack an adult who can defend themselves is one thing but to go after children is another. I say stricter policy on crimes are needed.

I have only one question.. why is the government allowing them into the country ? What is the reason and who is it benefiting??? As I commented before , my parents came to Canada in 1966 I was just a baby , Canada had endless jobs in manufacturing, and especially in the construction sector , I will say that immigrants back then , Italians , and Portuguese really built this country , the men and women worked sometimes two jobs , no hand out from the government , no sick days , Canada was beautiful growing up , .. that’s how I remember it , other immigrants followed , from Poland , and then the Indians started to come in by the 80”s .. fast forward to now , I’m embarrassed of our country , it’s disgraceful and disgusting, the transition from back then to now , I feel like I’m living in India , dirty , scammers , gangs , thief’s , murders , ignorant , entitlement; disrespectful etc .. facts , one thing that I can’t wrap my head around is the language barrier , why are these people working in customer service ? Why are they dealing with the public ??? Why are they in the health care industry, nurses , doctors etc , when they can’t speak the language???? Why are they accepted in these highly skilled positions? Just because you have the skill ? Isn’t knowing the language and being able to communicate a requirement regardless what job you have ? Why is the government allowing them in this country and then paying for them to have all these resources available to them ? Why ?? We need to start helping the people that have contributed to this country , that paid taxes and their dues FIRST … we do not have enough affordable housing , jobs , hospitals ,etc .Canada has falling , they are a financial strain on this country , it needs to STOP.. this isn’t the 60”s anymore Canada is to the max , no opportunity here anymore , send them back !

They are punishing President Zelensky for absolutely no reason by stalling aid to Ukraine his people are being slaughtered and they want Ukraine to give up territory and that's not acceptable under any circumstances Trump is trying to force President Zelensky ?? into a deal with Russia ?? by stalling aid. So let's punish people in a country that has been destroyed even more to force them into a deal with Russia ?? that would require Ukraine to give up territory absolutely not! Ukraine must remain in tact and return to its former glory ?? the United States of America ?? can no longer be trusted especially if they attacked their closest allies and insulted us continually did WW1 and WW2 mean absolutely nothing to the U.S.?? when Iran ?? took American hostages Canadians ?? worked tirelessly to devise a plan to get them back to the U.S. and succeeded in doing Just that the Canadians brought back the Americans safely. When 9/11 happened and Canada ?? took on thousands of passengers in Gander Newfoundland Canada ?? we opened our airspace and landed each and every one of them safely then when Americans couldn't get their medication, Gander gave it to them free of charge when Americans went shopping for clothes the stores gave it to them free of charge everything they needed was provided free of charge they were fed housed offered compassion and opened their homes so Americans could shower and clean up. Wow, articulate strong talk, no lies, no propaganda, no bluster, none of the total and complete unrelenting bullshit we have endure on a daily basis from the sociopathic delusional asshole that currently occupies the White House. You have to spend money to fix your problems instead of blaming some else and trying to get them to pay for it. You pay to solve your problems instead of giving huge tax cuts to people who don't need them. You stop lying to your people. You want to change the trade imbalance? Build products that other countries want at a price that makes sense. The EU has no laws that prevent American car manufacturers from selling their cars in Europe. American car companies make shitty cars. They make cars that are too big, that don't make sense for European where streets can be very small and gas is very expensive. The US manufacturers don't make a single small car in thos country that can compete with European cars. US agricultural products are laced with poisonous chemicals that are outlawed in the EU because they kill people. Our governmeent doesn't give a shit about that because to grow healthy food means you have to cut profits, almighty dollars, instead of grow things that the rest of the world will accept. We have an idiot for president who thinks he knows more than anyone else and an idiot party that won't tell him the truth. This is going to cost us big time. We are going into recession, probably a long one because we don't have real leaders and the president on his best day is nothing more than a reality TV personality, and not a very entertaining one at that.

What has Canada and European countries done to actually try and end the death and destruction from this war? Europe buys energy from Russia, and Canada is only giving 650 million dollars in weapons over three years, while America has supplied hundreds of billions of dollars in aid and military equipment. Zelensky goes around the world dressed in a military outfit with no desire to stop the slaughter of humans on both sides. Most of the Indian students have fake CREDENTIALS made in India yet they have received Acceptance Letters abroad.\nJust like in India every thing is fake. This woman is right. We need people who are willing to sacrifice their time and their old citizenship to become Americans. She sacrificed a great deal to become a true American citizen. I do not want to be a citizen of another country although I have spent time as a guest worker LEGALLYin other countries. I was not allowed to take jobs in those countries (Japan and Germany) that native workers had the right to take. I was not given benefits or a right to vote. I had a passport which I was required to carry at all times because as a foreign worker I could be stopped and questioned about my legal status. My passport showed my working status in country with the appropriate stamp. I accepted these restrictions as part of my working conditions. I wanted to keep my own citizenship as an American although I could have worked to obtain the fluency level required and the citizenship understanding of law and legal procedures to become a citizen. It would have taken time and waiting for an application to clear. That is what it would have required but I wanted to be an American. I did not renounce my citizenship lightly…nor should anyone without work and thoughtful consideration of what it is to BE a member of that country.

I am in Canada, born in India. I agree there are many Indian brown people here. It’s the govt that invited people, accepted them for the jobs they were unable to fulfill . These are highly educated, skilled and hardworking people. 25% all income from education comes from Indian people. Not to mention the high wages and high taxes they pay, inturn making Canada great. \nI also agree, there are some nasty people out there like any other race be it white, black, brown or purple. Canadian multiculturalism has changed. It used to be you came here and became a Canadian... While still bringing in bits from where you came from. These young ones coming here, are different from Indians long ago or even a decade or as you said 5 years ago. They were never this type of people, or behave in the manner these do (disgraceful). They get into Canada legally (since we accept anybody without backgroud checks) and once they discover how tough life is here they make a run for the USA. Our infrastructure and culture are at a serious risk of being permanently damaged due to this. Instead of blaming these people, one must question their own government authorities who make the rules and legislation to facilitate this. Maybe it's just the truth of a desperate Canadian economy that needs immigrants to keep fueling the 'aging' Canadian economic engine. I've been in Canada for 2 years without a Family doctor. Thank God, the last 10 different Doctors I met were all fresh immigrants and came to my rescue. Ask your conscience, without these immigrants, you wouldn't be getting your late night coffee at the time Hortons drive thru, no one to take your blood works without you waiting several months in waiting, no ways for universities to subsidize tuition fees for the poorer Canadian students. If immigrants stop coming in, the nice detached home you live in will go down in value, the nice truck you drive will become more expensive, your kids University tuition fees will sky rocket, Canadian companies selling groceries, furniture, etc. Will have lesser revenue and eventually get eaten up be American giants, Canadian companies won't have cheap labour to build those much needed housing. \nNot only question your government, but also question your 'own' people.. Where are they to serve you? Where are the so called patriotic 'original' Canadian Doctors'? They are off to US to earn more money. I think everyone is missing the point here. I Don’t support Israel’s retaliation, but I wondered why the Arab world has not taken in a single refugee. Poland didn’t condone Russia’s attack by taking in hundreds of thousands Ukrainian refugees. If Egypt, jordan, Quatar, to name the immediate Arab Neighbors would rally together to get the women and children out of harms way, surely the outcome would be better for these poor people. \n\nSadly this is not the case and it appears as though this conflict will never find a solution, as long as both parties are not able to set aside their millennia aged quarrel, acknowledge each other’s deep roots and belonging to the same land, and accept that they both come from the exact same bloodline. The exact same seed of a man named Abraham. Both parties need not to like or even tolerate each other, but they both need to respect each other’s right to co exist within that space. I’ve heard some disgusting vitriol from both sides, honestly. Both sides have and are behaving like animals. Infact animals are more civil, as their disputes are settled in a more humane manner, without the casualties within their communities. Yet, despite being created in God’s image with the ability of sophisticated communication, both sides are unable to get past their own hurt pride, at least for the sake of the innocent lives that have and continue to be lost on BOTH sides, to finally squash this matter once and for all.\n\nGrowing up I had a cousin . We both were the only Sons of our respective immediate families’, born to identical twin sisters, 3 months apart. From\nA young age everything was competition between us. Who ran faster, jumped higher, threw further. Every thing we did, and we spent a lot of time around each other, was constantly turned into a “who does it better”. This resulted in us usually throwing down as one of us, feeling like we may be on the losing end of any given task, would just get frustrated, and start soccer punching the other. And my cousin and I from the time were off the diary to the day we both matured, would THROW down. We would literally just start throwing punches at each other, it was honestly impressive how we both would manage to land equal amount of hits to look like literal bloody hell, and guess what, even those fights became competition as even our dads would throw money with the others pitching for their favourite. Fortunately, our moms, the only adults in the our community, looking back, people would just pick a side and watch as go at each other, than pull us off each other, would come stomping out of the house grab each one of us by our ears, gives us a good smack in the back our heads and sit us down, look each one of us straight in the eye, and say something like, “cut it out, you two are family, more brothers than cousins” they would demand that we both go hug it out, have a bath, if we managed to do that peacefully then we were allowed to partake in dessert that evening or allowed to stay up a little later watching tv, or whatever . My point with this overtly personal analogy is that both the Palestinian and the Israeli sides should be dragged off each there by their figurative ears pulled, sat down, scolded and reminded of their ancestrial ties to each other and to the very same land. \n\nBe honest with yourselves, some how amongst all this hate, vitriol, unnecessary death of innocent lives, are you, and those you rally with be truly ok with your opposing side coexisting harmoniously beside each other? If the answer to this question is no, the other side can not have any claim to this land and needs to be removed to god knows where, if not off the earth all together then it’s your people, not mine, that are doomed. We’ll still be chilling in North America, horrified at the unfolding events but chilling nonetheless. Although it somehow claims to not be doing so, the actions of Israel demonstrate a gruelling callousness towards Palestinian life or right to life, and the staunch calls of the constant pro Palestine protests, calling for the eradication of Israel, none absent of a deep, hate and disgust towards the Jewish people. Both are in need of serious internal reform. Honestly as a complete outsider, SHAME ON BOTH OF YOU. I don’t care who started it, or who said or did what, at this point it is imperil that this end immediately. And as an outsider, I think it’s is important that pressure be applied to both sides to put their weapons down. I don’t recall the last time anyone even mention the Israeli hostages, putting any pressure on Hamas to do the one thing that would definitely appease the Israelis. In the same breathe, Israel needs to be further pressured to stop being so trigger happy and lay off of it. \n\nI can only hope, I guess. OK hear me out, I’m a Jewish American but I have always been quite critical of Israel especially in the last 3 decades under the Likud government it’s nationalism and imperialism, with regard to its settlements and attitudes to Palestine. That said… Every time we’re close to creating good world sympathy for a Palestinian state, the power-hungry radicals of the Palestinian people always somehow ruin the progress, taking advantage of a power vacuum, and it’s stirring up the people once again that Israel Has to be destroyed off the face of the map. Then on top of that, during peaceful times with momentum for a two state solution, something always ruins it, in this case it was Hamas, seizing power over Gaza with the statement that Israel needed to be destroyed. Then Israel made sanctions to try to make that government fail, but, of course, as we know, it only starved the people and made them angrier and then they did this awful, unspeakable, brutal attack. Hamas is still attacking to this day. If Hamas wants to cease fire, they need to also stop attacking Israel and come to the table and come up with a two states solution and accept Israel. Israel is of course going too far as they often do but it’s a tough call as to what Israel should really be doing right now, while their constantly under attack and threat from their neighbors in a very active way every day.

These government officials need to stop pretending that ALL international students are victims here. Let me be clear, yes some are, BUT, A LOT of them commit fraud to come here and other different countries. I used to think all international students were rich when I moved here, as tuition for them can be 3 to 4 times more expensive. Then I started realising how wrong I was, with so many that can't afford food, housing stc. Then I heard about the loan scam, where potential students would borrow money from essential loan sharks to prove they have the minimum amount to qualify for a student visa, get accepted then give the money back, paying back a fee of course. If this is a widely known thing, the government DEFINITELY knows about it too

So how are these asylum seekers come? Do they come from the country that they are looking for asylum and they are denied shelter? Then the trouble is how this claimants are processed, there should be a way to firm up the needed resources or simply there's no room in Canada. If what they are doing is coming to the country and once at the port of entry they claim for asylum we need to take a serious look at how lenient we are in accepting just anyone who comes by automatically granting asylum. That should stop. There should be no illegal immigrants in Canada. Those who are here illegally should be sent back. There is enough trouble now to handle this. Maybe in the future, not now.

I am a Canadian citizen who worked in the US. Please stop blindly extolling Canada for accepting more immigrants. There is nothing inherently good or bad about immigration. It is a simply a socioeconomic policy decision that every country needs to make for itself, for the benefit of its EXISTING citizens. I’m not going to blindly applaud any country, including my own, just because it welcomed xyz immigrants.

big problem with the housing is also trudeau taking in so many immigrants and refugees before having enough available housing for everybody. I think they were taking in 200k people a year. while we need atleast 1million new houses within the next 10 years in order to supply enough to the population. There was also an issue with forieign purchases where people from other countries were buying houses in canada and nobody living in them. Trudeaus votes comes from majority indian people and arabic since thats a lot of the population in canada, and to win those votes and get more hes friendly with them accepting a lot of immigrants from those countries, its not a bad thing since a lot are very well educated and their peaceful people for the most part, but the problem is there isn't enough housing. Even renting has become competitive , owning is near impossible without help. Trudeau really messed up the country, houses are riduclously expensive and they often go into bidding wars if in a good area, banks interest rates keep going up now, loans are harder to take out, sadly we need to limit the amount of immigrants that come into the country until the right number of houses are built in the country, if anything new and major cities need ot be build in other locations with jobs in order to get more people spread out around the provinces. Once there is enough houses and jobs i believe the doors should be open to whomever wishes to come (obviously with a background check) but until then there should be a limit so the houses stop going up.
